Since the newest update to 3.5.8 I reconniced, that I sometimes my internet is just working in Chrome or Firefox, but Apps don't have an network access. It is solved with a reboot but after a while it happens again. Maybe someone know a fix for that, because it is really annoying.

Tonight I've been noticing some odd behavior with regard to my internet connection and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. I connect to the EV-DO network just fine and my direct push is working (Getting new emails) but no web sites (including sprint!) will load. My IM client is working also (OctroTalk). The problem loading websites occurs in both PIE and Opera. I just tried the WMWiFiRouter app connected to my nokia N800. I followed all the directions regarding removing the extension key in the registry. This seems pretty odd.
Any thoughts? anyone else experiencing this? (I'm in Central Florida)

Update: ok, seems as though things are back to normal for the time being. Perhaps just a problem with sprint's routers? who knows... I'll keep an eye on this and post if I notice anything odd again. Sorry for the waste of a thread, I would delete this if I could
Anybody having problems with the skyfire browser? I cant seem to use skyfire at all today. problem started this morning and still isnt working right now.
Everytime i launch skyfire it just says "connecting......" or sometimes its stuck in "Authenticating...."
All my other programs that uses internet is working fine (besides PIE, still wont work)
so i was wondering if anybody else is experiencing this problem. I have the latest skyfire beta software and using joshkoss' v11 manila2d rom. And i tried this with both wifi connection and regular data connection through 3g.
They have been upgrading their servers. It is up again for me now...

I experimented the Skyfire browser on my Samsung i907 and it crashes a lot. I guess it is a compability issue with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
I there.. i Have the sane problem... the first time i runned, it work great, but... then when i tried to execute the program it freeze on authentication screen, and it freeze the whole system too... i tried to unninstall it and reinstalled, but it doesn´t work... the browser it´s really cool, the first time i used tu see a movie on Megavideo, so i´m a little dissapointed about that problem.. and i just want my skyfire back.. hehe...

Most of the time I can't use the web browser while connected to wlan. The progress bar stops right in the beginning. All other apps like market you-tube and Google maps connects and uses the wlan connection.
I tried at least ten different wlan:s and it makes no difference.
Anyone else having this problem?

There are some strange things happening with the Hero from time to time....
I did an factory reset of the phone and it work t great for about three days and then the problem came back.
I have the same problem and the onset was when I updated to the latest official Rom. the browser works swell over 3g and gprs but lately I'm getting no data through the official browser over WiFi. dolphin and steel browsers don't work either but oddly enough opera mini still works on WiFi.
whenever that happened to me , i unplugged my wireless router , plugged back in and it was perfect

Yesterday night the WIFI in my Nexs 7 32th with 4.2.2 stopped working out of the blue, literally because the bars irrevocably grey and they have been like such ever since.
I tried rebooting the modern, performing a reboot on the tablet and then I did a factory reset; only to encounter the same ongoing problem.
I must mention that the WIFI works on other network. I had this problem a while back and I solved it by tweaking around with th advanced setting me menu while selecting the network, however, I completely forgot what I did and I cannot find any thread that explains the whole solution.

UPDATE; So I kept tweaking with the advanced settings and now I can use Chrome and web browsing but bars are still grey and I cannot sign i to Google Services with my account. I cannot use Gmail, youtube or Play Market.
Nobody got any idea on how to solve this?
I even disabled the firewall on the modem with no success.
By the way my modem is a Century Link PK500
UPDATE2: So I am using a whole different router and the bars are still grey... anybody got any idea?

A kernel is what bridges hardware and software. Try flashing a different one.
I think I had the same problem and used it by removing my Google Account and then adding it again...

I might try to flash another kernel, removing the acc does not work since I already performed a factory reset and problem was still there. Needless to say that i can't remove one because there are none synced.
I can use browser and stuff perfectly, however, it says it can't establish a reliable connection to the server.

i had something strange happen to me yesterday. out of the blue, i came to my s8 (G950F) saying internet is not available on my home wifi. i suspected that it's my networks's problem but it was not. everyone in my house had internet on his/her phone w/o a problem.
the strange thing is, both on wifi and cellular data (4g), i can view anything on my samsung web browser but i can't seem to get internet connection on any other app like youtube, chrome... etc.
i tried resetting the network settings and clearing cache partition but the problem was not fixed. trying to avoid hard resetting as much as possible.
any idea on what could be causing the problem what fix can applied?

problem is solved. i did a backup of my entire phone using smartwitch and formatted the phone. strange problem but everything is fine now.
