Hello everyone
I'm new here in this forum and as on android user as well so go soft on me
I have a problem regardless the root and unroot device, my nexus 7 in rooted (I dunno if it is rooted by manufacture or not)
I installed some online games like Iruna online and avabel problem is I always got the same error screen "Authentication Failed"
I heard it got something to do with rooted devices, so I tried some programs that un-root the device for certain apps but it failed too.
any suggestion or this error is duo to something else
Ps:Google play is restricted in my country so I'm using hotspot
Do you want to hide the root or unroot the device.
No Nexus 7's are sent rooted from the manufacturer if it is rooted then this has been done by a user. Wugfresh nexus toolkit has an option to unroot but this involves flashing an unrooted stock ROM and will wipe the device. I'm not aware of any other way to unroot the tablet. Some apps say that they can hide the su binary from other apps. For more info on what "root access" actually is see XDA university for a pretty concise explanation. Try hide my root by amphoras if you can't get that on hotspot PM me and I will send you the .apk file.
Sent from one of my 47 iPads running android C3P0
I tried multiple apps that hide root but all failed, I will try the one you mention,
and I'm asking about the error too "Authentication failed" is it because of root or else ?
Edit: I just tried the app and the same error

Hi, SheepRaider...
If your Nexus 7 is rooted with Chainfire, then unrooting it should be relatively straightforward...
------------------------------------------------------------
** Go into the App Drawer and locate the SuperSU app. By default, the icon should be a YELLOW triangle with a RED hash (#) overlayed on top of it. However, this may have been changed by whoever originally rooted the device. See the first thumbnail at the bottom of this post for the alternative icons. If it's been made invisible (hidden from launcher), then things become a little more technically challenging. See this post for more details on this.
** Once you have located the SuperSU app, run it and tap on the SETTINGS tab.
** Scroll down to the option, Full unroot - Cleanup for permanent unroot, tap on this and follow the on screen instructions.
** Reboot your Nexus 7... you should now be unrooted.
------------------------------------------------------------
Take a look at my attached thumbnail images for the sort of things you should expect to see.
Hope this helps... and good luck.
Rgrds,
Ged.
Hey all, anyone try using Kingo on android 4.4.2? I tried using it to root my phone and I get this error: Stop! Offline Device. Anyone know how to fix this?
I haven't found anything in Google, nothing on their website (I just emailed them a few days ago) addresses this issue, and the search bar on this site is giving me error messages instead of results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you thought of using towelroot sir?
Yes I was trying to root my note3 N900 with Kingo since it has been declaring that Kingo will not flag the knox counter. In the beginning, It was on its way of rooting. I saw messages keep rolling on Kingo interface saying updating files or downloading things like that. At one stage, it stopped with error message that root was unsuccessful. I tried again but Kingo said not connected. When i checked the phone, it was bootloop. Crap software ever after. I keep connecting my usb and Kingo never detected my device. And to be honest, I was panicked and ran Samsung Kies and Kies didnt detect my device as well. I didnt touch or move a single millimetre while rooting process. Im very sure that I installed Samsung driver properly and have been using Kies for couples of month before and never face driver problem and I just used Kies a few mins before i started to run Kingo. I started to realized Kingo messed up my driver in mid-way of rooting. Since then I just kicked it out from my pc and never looked back at all.

I wanted to see if I could try fixing this first before exploring other options. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into it if Kingo falls through.

Towelroot is also a KNOX 0x0 rooting procedure that works on a lot of Samsung 2014 devices
I used Kingo on 4.3 and it worked fine, but I thought Kingo wasn't working anymore on later firmware, since it was patched? Towel root works very well, but again the latest firmware is patched against it as well and developer works for Google now, so the way to do it properly is to load newest firmware, then downgrade just official Kernel to version before June 2014 with Odin, root with towelroot and then update just the kernel back to same version as the rest. This will give you root and keep Knox cool at least it did for me.
I have been recently trying to root my Note 3 and have had no success. However I have noticed today that my battery drops in an unbelievably short time. My battery settings shows "yumie32" using 52% CPU and nothing else. Anyone have any idea what this is? I cannot find any apps or files associated with this and there is nothing when I do a search. I have a screen shot I will attempt to attach. Thanks for any help.
Post lacks information .
What model
What root method .
Hi!
I've got same problem. Root was unsuccessful. Yumie32 using CPU.
Root app: kingroot
Device: sm g900f
Anyone can help me?
Yeah, i just tried to root my samsung phone yesterday with kingroot and it is dying extremely fast! Help!
Factory reset your phone
Flash new stock firmware from sammobile by Odin
Don't use kingroot for rooting your device anymore
Try another method
Use samsung kies to restore your app & contacts & Msg ... etc
I've never used Kingroot but I'd like to know. Is it really a malware?
I think you must choose the Odin method....Kingo root is a worst method.
Hi there.............
Can anyone help me giving the right direction for rooting of my handset. I have got SAMSUNG GALAXY J100F and trying to root it but I have failed every time. I used some software named Kingroot, KingoRoot , Iroot etc pc version and apk both file but unfortunately I failed to Root all time. So can anyone help me to be succeeded in this issue. THANKS .
Can someone please help me root my phone, I have tried everything and have been at this for hours and every method I try does not seem to work for me. I tried kingroot which no matter the version says method unavailable, and using odin always gives me the same error Fail(AUTH) and on the phone it shows Secure Check Fail: Recovery
I have tried researching this error but nothing could be found relating to my situation.
NOTE: I am running Android Version 5.1.1
