Screen lock notifications content - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

I can't seem to disable the content hidden feature on lockscreen notifications
I have gone into notification settings and changed it to always display details but it still shows them as "content hidden" with the setting greyed out and disabled in specific app settings.
Can anyone help? Or is 7.1.1 supposed to lock all content if you have some sort of screen lock.
Thanks

I can't remember for sure, but I think the option is in lockscreen settings, and something about make wallpaper priority.

Lollipop lock screen notification?

Is there a way to make the notification show up in the status bar only? I just want am icon not a message showing what app it is. Yes I like my privacy. I loved being able to turn on phone screen and see the icon. Now all I see is Verizon wireless.... I'm glad you can hide the content in the new notification but I want to hide the app name too.
Anyone?
Root and upgraded to lollipop.. Still have root.

The lock screen notifications are part of Lollipop, which isn't changeable. You can hide sensitive content from the sound and notification settings, but that's as secure as it can go without showing any on the lock screen.

2nd screen clock only while screen on?

Is this possible?
In settings you only have two choices: date & time or signature. Until one of the custom roms starts delving into the second screen, this is it.

Yeah that's screen off. I was curious about screen on. But I'm assuming that the answer is no.
Enabling the option under Settings -> Second screen -> "Show time while content is shown" and then hiding the status bar seems to force the clock (actually all status bar icons) into the second screen.
Nova has an option to do this (not root necessary) but it only will stay that way on your home screen and revert back when in an app that doesn't do Fullscreen. I'm not sure there is a way to always force Fullscreen without root + Xposed (which is not yet available for Nougat) for all apps.

So I tried this and it definitely removed the status bar and icons up top in the second screen, but no clock. Just black.

Interesting....I wonder why it is behaving different for me. I do have an older version of Nova though. You don't have any other settings to hide the clock in the notification bar enabled do you? And you are sure you enabled the option at the bottom of the second screen settings called "Show time while content is shown"?

You know what. I have a 3minit mod installed that hides the default clock. I bet that is what it is.

Can't hide Lock screen notifications

I can't seem to hide notification from the lock screen. The settings for this don't work. For certain apps I want to see notifications but not on the lock screen. Has anyone encountered this issue?
Also if you go to :
App - Management: choose your app
Under Notification = block all?
Try to uncheck

If you do this ,this means you won't get any notification at all .
Sorry about I also can't find any about hide notification message in settings .
but there is also some apps will provide this function. such as wechat in settings->notifications->show preview text .
I think you should try this way.
There is an option to disable lockscreen notifications on a per app basis in the settings of App Management, but it just doesn't seem to work at all.

Just long press it, then go to notifications, toggle it on, the lockscreen notifications, then toggle it off, work for me, no more lockscreen notification, but on the home launcher I do have it. I am not sure why it doesn't work as is, but toggling it on and off will work.

Notifications on lockscreen

With the P4 I am not getting full notifications on the lock screen, just the icon that the notification is from. I guess this is because of Face unlock (can't just look at the lock screen without the phone unlocking)?
Ahhh, turning off "skip the lock screen" brings back the full notifications.

But they still disappear after a while. How do make the notifications stay permanently?

I assume it's a security setting for notifications, so whenever your phone is unlocked with the face the notifications will show the details, after some time, or after you lock your device again they will disappear.
You need to search under notification or privacy/security settings for that option to either show all notification details on lockscreen or hide sensitive data.
Please let me know if that's what you were looking for.
Also noticed that the clock on the lock screen moves up and down randomly throughout the day. Not sure how to share screenshots here tho
That's to prevent OLED burn-in...

How to show notification icons on status bar on lock screen

Hello,
I have POCO M3, MIUI Global 12.0.4, android 10 QKQ1. I really like the phone but there is one thing that drives me mad and that is the fact that the status bar with all notification icons is not visible on the lock screen. In the place where the icons should be, there is just the information about the network provider.
I have tried to look for the way to keep the status bar on the lock screen but to no avail. CustoMIUIzer has the option to keep the floating notification on the lock screen, which is great, but I need to see the icons as well. Does anyone know any way how to do it? Any app, EdXposed module or anything? Maybe I missed something?
Thank you in advance.

You can try to go to settings, display, control center and notification shade, turn off the option "show carrier when device is locked", to see if this works.
Edit: I just tried it myself, and with that option disabled, the icons are still not shown on the lock screen.

That's true, unfortunately it does not work... And the worst thing is that just after pressing the power button when the screen is locked, you can see the icons on the bar for just a fraction of a second before they disappear. I would love for them to stay there.
