Dolby Atmos

Hello,
I tested this sound mod :

clean install your favorite rom before flash for no conflicts with other mod sound
delete FX music
After having plugged my headphones I make a hot reboot for the dolby work properly....

And how is the sound? clearer? stronger? sharper?

Works great on Flyme OS 4.1.3R, clear (Intelligent Equalizer) & stronger (Volume Leveler) audio experience. :good:

but, i'm getting an error on flyme 4.1.3? "dolby service stopped"
did you delete "musicfx" ?

Could you share your audio config?? I dont know how to set it right.

I install the application from TWRP latest version on rooted Flyme OS I did nothing more. I use Spotify and google play music.
Edit: I use the latest ElementalX kernel Cyanogenmod/CAF (Android 4.4.3/4.4.4) ElementalX-N5-1.13-cm

Hello everyone
I would like to know if it's possible to import Maxx Audio Effects from Oxygen OS to Cyanogen Mod ?
In this case , if it exist already a flashable zip ?
I like this system where you can change between movies , games and music .
Really appreciate if someone can help me .

trust me, maxx audio from oxygen is terrible.
I prefer max audioFX from CM12.1s or Viper4Android.

Yeah, it will.
It works on almost every rom.

I too looking maxx mod (like in Oxygen) for Hydrogen OS (that can work for inbuilt speakers). Which is basically same but modified for China. I tried some zips but none worked
anybody have working mod, plz share

It won't work with OOS because it already has maxxaudio in-built unless you remove maxxaudio.

There is no way to get v4a working on oxygen ad far as I know. If anyone can disprove me it would be great.

^ true that in fact no other audio mod is compatible ATM all u get is weird distorted sound I tried .AFAIK its got something to do with the audio policy file.conf

If you are running on any CM based rom then any sound mod is compatible. And in my opinion, XTREMEMusic Mod by androidxpert135 is a compilation of the best sound mods and sound engines. This along with Dolby Atmos will greatly increase the audio quality of your phone.
If you are on OOS or any OOS based rom then ReHeaR audio mod is your best bet.

How exactly you install ? How did you test the sound actually ? What DSP are working as they say a lot like SRS, Viper, Dolby etc., ? Which kernel you are using ? I am new (was away for long time) so dont know where to test those settings.

i flashed it via twrp recovery, am on latest MM 6.0.1, v4a working fine, only problem is that microphone does not work during phone calls, i removed the mod.

I see. Can you tell me how to enable and test Dolby, SRS effects in these mods ? There is another mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...d-kitakami-sound-mod-prototype-t3361092/page7 which I'm using now and works good (v4a by installing the lollipop version and system defaults), but no idea about SRS, Dolby effects as i did not get any of those apps after installing the mod. Do you have any idea ?

hhmmm i am using this also, since the one that i linked have a microphone issue on the z3+, i dont really know how to unable those, since that in the zip file, there are no such "apps" apart from v4a for effects and a customized sound enhancement app.

In Need of Sound Enhancer like Miui

If Possible Pls create a zip file or apk of the sound enchancer like miui to work in Custom Rom 6.0 or 7.1 if possible. Because Sound is Clear and Non disturbing in Miui after turning on the mi sound enchancer.

There are better options available such as the BioHazard Sound Mod, Arise Sound Mod or simply V4A.

Haven't found a solution yet...music FX is present in 7.1 roms but no sound enchancer...camera is ok in 7.1.
I'm still using miui 7 for sound and camera output...

None of them were satisfying.... Still miui does the job better.

Those sound mod like arise do not much thing unless u set a good viper4android setting .
Try adiuophiles also. Hiphop modern.IRS(my recommend.)
You will not get that much difference in speaker.But in headphone arise is as good as miui.

the best one is the Dolby. use this link and download the zip and flash it but don't flash the uninstaller zip. flash the other two.

They cannot be ported they are proprietary software by Xiaomi...

Dolby for pie Roms..

Dolby for pie Rooms...plz confirm if working in oos...I flashed it in my one plus 6t, flashing was successful but no icon in drawer..

This module works fine along with v4a for me. Also have audio modification library installed.

U guys know that other Dolby that works only makes the volume louder. It does not process like Dolby actually does..

Had the same impression..so uninstalled it and use viper instead

Dolby working properly changes the soundscape and equalizer settings. So in a sense, it changes the volume, but in very discrete ways in different bands.
