so i was on nuclea7.0. i flashed zui nougat through qpst (lastest stable version of zui). finger print was working fine on zui
my bootloader changed into zui one. after that i flashed hexorom7.0. from there problem started. fp senser died. i tried all method. flashed cos12.1 thorugh qpst no luck. tried different roms no luck. it doesnt vibrate when i place my finger on it. please help it. i tried replacing bootloader to stock cos from fastboot commands no luck.. please help
in settings clear all credentials is greyed out

I repeat it's a hardware problem. Not software. Many members suffering from the same problem since more than 2 months.

What I don't understand is that if you call it a hardware problem then for what love of sweet Jesus does scanner stop working only when we try to flash a new ROM?
How on Earth will a software upgrade trigger a hardware failure?

Have you noticed that this happens when you update to Nougat? Most of the complainants says this happened when they updated to 7.0...

Ths is what I thought. But even after flashing stock through qfil fingerprint is dead. I'm gonna disassemble my phone & see anything can be done

Don't be rude if in your case it got working again, there are(including me) more then enough users with dead fp readers caused by hardware failure. And if you're informed enough it can be slow coming. Fp reader can be dying slowly with intervals between where it is working again.

PS : My fingerprint died too yesterday Sad that I tried installing ZUI ROM as well to check it is going to help in a miracle way, but sadly it didn't.

No one can solve this :crying:
Seems to me that your camera lens has some dust stuck in it, I had faced similar problems on my old Nokia. Try prying open the back cover then checking if the lens is clean. The flash becoming yellow isn't possible

there is not a dust problem i check it first :crying: .... anyway thanks for suggestion .....
one more thing is that's problem comes with after flashing custom rom .... i try to install original n4 rom again but this problem not leave my n4 ....

I don't think this problem is software related, this is more hardware related. If all your efforts are failing then you'll have to show it in the service center, cause this is a rare problem

i can't show it in service center.... and my camera works very well in first stock rom .... but after try custom rom unlock bootloader rooted then thats happen ....

Which ROM was it? Then try installing other ROM's. Also note your problem on the ROM official thread too, maybe the developer can help

In the past, I faced some similar problems with my Galaxy S3 because I was a mad ROMs tester, so one time the baseband messed up with me and I lost all the network abilities, but I managed to deal with that..
Today it's my dad's issue, he likes to keep everything on stock, but rooted...
So he updated his I9505 to the latest Lollipop version, then he rooted it..
Today he told me that he can't make or receive ANY calls or SMSs, but the mobile data is still working as it should.
He can't remember if the problem started before or after updating.. So I tried the following:
• Did a factory reset.
• flashed a clean 4 files firmware through ODIN.
• took the SIM away and tested it on another devices, it works fine.
• Downgraded to KitKat and flashed the proper modem and bootloader.
Nothing helped [emoji17][emoji17]
So I wish that you guys, can do your best to help me..
P.S. The IMEI serial number is fine ( no null/null or imilar errors ).

The other place to get the full ROM is samsung-updates.com. However, for your issue, flashing just the modem and bootloader should be sufficient.

Unfortunately I downloaded and flashed the full firmware which is proper to my region ( Sweden ), then flashed the proper modem... NOTHING HELPED

I'm totally shocked now!! I tried a SIM card from another carrier ( which I never tested before ) and it works perfectly!! So now I'll try the main SIM card, maybe I can fet some luck..
So that means no hardware issues?

I tried two other SIM cards from two different carriers, no hope
Seems like this guy got locked on that only carrier that worked with me, don't know why, it was working perfectly few days ago!

Hello Guys! It's Been More Than A Week Now, That I Am Unable To Solve This ; "No Mobile Network Available!" Issue On My 11-Month Old Rooted Lenovo A6000. What All Things I Tried To Resolve This Issue, But, DIN'T WORK:
1. Checked The Stock ROM
2. Flashed Mokee ROM.
3. Settings->Sim Cards->Data Connection(ON).
4. Settings->Sim Cards->Sim1/2->Network Operators->Choose Automatically
5. Settings->Sim Cards->Sim1/2->Network Operators->Choose Manually
6. Removed Google Account And Tried (As Posted As A Fix By Some Other Forum)
7. Used 3 SIM Cards (Which Are Working On Other Phones)

Nothing happens on its own. You must have flashed something wrong. Or you could've dropped your phone.
BTW, if you flash stock ROM with stock recovery, they are not gonna find it. And you can easily get your phone repaired.

Definitely, the guy who changed it did something wrong. I don't see any other reason for this.

Well, they would atleast give it a look. Maybe, find out that somebody has opened it earlier. But, give it a try. And btw, why don't you go to the guy who changed your display. Tell him, its his fault. Maybe its just a loose wire and he could fix it.
And download from here instead, if you haven't started yet.

Before some days, I'd unlocked my Redmi 3S's bootloader.
To be true, I hate MIUI. So, when HridayHS made the AOKP ROM, I could not resist myself for flashing it on my phone.
So, I flashed it, but after flashing it, my Wifi got stopped.
Its address is appearing 02:00:00:00.
And, there's one more problem. My phone's sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor) are not working. They were working before I changed the ROM, but now, they are not working.
And, my mistake, I did not take the backup of stock MIUI ROM.
I have tried downloading the stock MIUI ROM from the official website and flashed it, but again...wifi not working. :'(

Try kernel above and report whether the WiFi is works or not, in my case, my WiFi works after installing the kernel above (But don't expect a in-kernel feature cz it's still WIP )

Flammenwerferx, nope buddy. I've already tried flashing it, but still wifi Mac address is 02:00....
I've even tried changing ROMs but this didn't solve the issue.
What to do?
Update: Wifi started working. What I did is, I'd a file named CM Wifi Fix which was for Xperia, I think. I extracted that zip and placed the files in my ROM and rebooted and it started working!
But still, sensors are not working.

How did you get the kernel to boot? What toolchain you used? I tried to boot the kernel with no changes after compiling from the sources given by Xiaomi but it doesn't boot. Could you tell me how were you able to get it booting?

You have to submit a ticket in the xperifix website. What is your firmware version, you will find it in settings/about phone.
Newflasher won't help you, it's for flashing whole firmware files to your phone, nothing to do with drm issues.
Will reinstalling/flashing a whole rom will give me the ability to use the camera again?

This is how I handled mine with XZ1 via newsflasher. I was getting no focus and camera button would not work. Check the thread I wrote describing my fix but I used drmfix from @janjan vs storm's xperifix. The result should be the same however.

This is by far the most complicated bootloader unlocking I’ve come across. Worse than lg. Disappointing.

I leaved XDA? When? Hahaha...
Janjan is using my old files. Without me, there wouldn't be any fix for these devices. Wish you good luck finding a fix for Pie, because my old files won't work on Pie. And there will never be a public fix from me anymore.

This is how I handled mine with XZ1 via newsflasher. I was getting no focus and camera button would not work. Check the thread I wrote describing my fix but I used drmfix from @janjan vs storm's xperifix. The result should be the same however.

I was not 100% sure but it's good that you confirmed. Thank you for your hard work that was offered for free. @sToRm//
Perhaps it's now time to consider alternate ROMs instead of dealing with stock issues after bootloader unlock.
