Hi there!
Today i updated to EMUI 5 and Android 7. I got a problem with skipping the lockscreen, so I cant draw my pattern until I swiped once to get rid of the EMUI lockscreen.
Before I updated my OS, I had access to the EMUI lockscreen functions directly from the "pattern enter" screen after i disabled the previous shown lock screen somewhere in the options.
My english is not that good but I hope you get my problem and someone propably knows how to solve it.

im currently on pa 4.5 beta 2 on my nexus 5... been almost a week now...loving it!.. however my game "ruzzle" always crashes on startup (like 9.5 times out of 10...yes that frequently) and sometimes recents menu is blank...but when i touch the screen it shows me all my running apps..any work around for this? or is this happening coz im on beta version?
EDIT : i might have solved the recents problem by reseting preferences.. but time will tell
also 1 request pls... can u by any chance add the hover notification feature to show up on the lock screen aswell? am currently using xblast for this purpose but the entire ui of pa's hover notification is just classs!! ( when you have pattern lock you are not able to pull down notifications unless you unlock.. So with hover I can see in detail my notifications and choose whether I want to unlock to reply/view or not.

It seems like the official Nougat builds are really horrible when it comes to notifications. I no longer have the option to turn on the display when receiving a notification, which is huge. But on top of that, I don't seem to get any notifications on the lock screen at all, or "heads up" notifications (the notifications that drop down from the top of the screen while it's on temporarily). Am I wrong? Have others gotten this stuff working? I am on AL10.
Well I got lock screen stuff going, it was just defaulting to disabled. But there seems to be no option to wake the display for notifications.

I have NXT-AL10. Just got the phone 2 days back and I installed Android Nougat 7.0 directly from Huawei using Huawei ID.
I found a setting that may be the one or at least close to it.I also checked if the notification is displaying on the lock screen and it does. I have attached the screenshots.
When I unlock the phone and check the notifications they are there until I swipe them out. They are displayed beautifully. Unfortunately taking screenshot of that was bit difficult as the knuckle thing didn't work so well. I managed to get these. Hope this is what you are looking for.

I had an issue similar to this on 6.0, it was an issue with themes. Do you have anything under the screen lock style menu, under screen lock and passwords? I have a feeling thats my issue.

Hi,
I checked under screen lock and passwords
options listed are
password, secure lock settings , smart unlock - under the subheading of "passwords"
under "lock screen"
screen lock style, magazine unlock and lock screen signature
under screen lock style
it just displays magazine unlock and when you click that it displays the same wallpaper and asks to apply.
under "magazine unlock settings"
subscriptons, auto-update over WLAN and auto-delete covers
There is a separate application called "Themes" and it shows all the themes. They all look alike but there is no download or edit options available. Even if we want to change or edit those themes, it seems like root is required. Are you rooted?
I have enclosed more screenshots to explain better. Hope you find what you are looking for, if I missed something please let me know if you want screenshot of any other menu or screen.

I noticed that this is an EMUI thing that hides notifications on lockscreen once it's unlocked and never shown on lockscreen again. Can this be changed so i always have lockscreen notifications?
I have the same issue on my Huawei Nova and EMUI 5. I tried lot of lockscreen notifications apps, but none gives good results... Hope someone finds a solution.

It seems that EMUI 5 just works like that. Concept was to keep lock screen clean.
I use my tablet a lot through the day so I need to lock/unlock it many times per day so I'm started searching for a program that can unlock my device immediately (without using the power button) and I found plenty that can do that but with all of them, I found out that when I use my fingerprint to unlock, I'm prompted to enter my PIN, which defeats the purpose of having the convenience of a fingerprint scanner!!
Is there any program that can really unlock by 1 tap on it, then unlock my device normally with fingerprint?
Another question: Do you guys have notification badges for Facebook & Pages Manager? I'm running the official Nougat OS (Build 351), US Version (Wifi only). I'm surprised because I've noticed these badge numbers on FB on Huawei phones in Youtube but I don't see these badges at all on my tablet even though the badge notification setting is turned ON!
Depending on the ROM there should be a display lock widget (1x1) available (in german it is called "Display-Sperre", don´t know the other names for this widget on other ROM languages). When I touch the widget it locks the screen and I can unlock via fingerprint without PIN entry.

Which ROM are you talking about? I'm using the default ROM which is nougat. I tried searching for display look widget on the Play store but I couldn't find it .

The Nougat ROM with EMUI5 itselfs has the widget already preinstalled, so no need for an additional installation. I think on older ROMs with EMUI4 this widget is not available. The widget is blue colored with a white lock icon on it.

Guys I really wanted to choose which apps show the content on the lock screen. Like for example the music all app controllers. But that is just achieved by enabling all notifications in lock screen. Well then I thought maybe I can go to wassap notifications menu to do not show on the lock screen, but there is no option in the app, as shown in some other oreo apps where there they have in notifications part to not show in lock screen, nor in any other pref. I'm not sure if it's because this is the oreo version of the s5 or why. Also I chickened to install the android pie.
Any app, tweak? Or something? Thanks in advance.
