Exynos temporarily working on Verizon wireless (935F) - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Rooted superman 935F.
Okay. We all know Verizon is a CDMA carrier. However this phone does support the LTE bands. I put my Verizon wireless Sim in from 935U to 935F and I HAD data and was able to run a couple of speed tests and even hotspot for about 5 minutes then boom, I was kicked off the network.
So these bastards check whitelisted imei then blocked it LTE discovery giving error but was still "connected" and in service.
So... Is there a way to flash IMEI from 935U to 935F, and 2 incorporate elements of VOLTE from the 935U into the ROM and get it working. Technically it's "possible" but Verizon obviously doesn't want us to do this. Any developers have any ideas if we could pull this off I could finally get rid of tmaybie.

Why not using 935U?

Will S7 Edge SM-G9350 Dual Sim work fully on AT&T?

I bought an S7 Edge SM-G9350 Dual Sim that is unlocked. I was planning on using it on AT&T but apparently the Dual Sim model isn't compatible with the 4G LTE in the US. The AT&T rep I worked with called his Samsung rep and verified it wouldn't work on 4G. We checked all the APN settings and bands the device is capable of, verifying it should work. Is there any way to make it work correctly as it seems to be a software issue?
I spoke with another AT&T rep who said it doesn't appear to have the region lock as it wouldn't activate on the AT&T network at all then but he didn't know why it wouldn't work. From the article I read the region lock is separate from the network lock. The region lock is removed if a phone call of 5 min is made in the area the phone is from. Then the region lock is deactivated. Here is the article I found. www . androidcentral.com/your-unlocked-euro-galaxy-s7-still-region-locked-thats-not-huge-deal
Would flashing another ROM work, or what level is the incompatibility? In the network settings there are listings for the carriers and their 2G and 3G settings but nothing else.
Apparently this thread double posted so this one can be deleted by a Mod
really... i'm calling BS on the reps... what is your definition of "working fully"? i have a dual sim G935FD and LTE works just fine on AT&T. the international version is missing 2 bands (29 and 30?), that's used in certain areas. other than that, i personally have not had any issues/ have you tried using an AT&T sim to confirm the phone won't work, use LTE? see below as well (WillMyPhoneWork.net):

On-the-fly carrier switching

Good evening!
I recently purchased the VZW S7. My immediate plan is to root it and then enable the Samsung carrier info (which VZW disables) so I can get to the engineering screens to check out LTE/network connection information.
I have been searching all over XDA for some type of answer to my question and haven't found it yet. What I can gather is the VZW variant has all the hardware requirements to have every band from every major carrier in the US, however VZW has disabled specific bands in their firmware. This lead me to thinking I will push the 930U firmware to it which, from what I have read here, unlocks all the specific bands as dictated by the SIM card currently inserted into the phone.
Here is my question: with the 930U firmware, how complicated is it to switch carriers on-the-fly, and to have all the bands a particular carrier utilizes?
My main line is VZW, but I also have a T-Mobile line on my Nexus 6P. However, there is zero engineering mode on the 6P, so I am unable to see information like current band, bandwidth, carrier aggregation status, etc. SignalCheck Pro only tells me the band.
So if I want to use the S7 on Verizon and then swap my T-Mobile SIM card in, how does the phone handle this, and it is a hassle once I put my VZW SIM back in?
I hope all this made sense. Essentially what I am wondering is if switching carriers on the fly is as easy as it is on the 6P- just pop the card in and go, with all the necessary LTE bands enabled.
Thank you for your time!

Moto G4 Play XT1607 usage on all 4 US carriers? real world experience.

The Unlocked Moto G4 Play, XT1607, is suppose to work out the box on all 4 US carriers. Which means it should also work on all MVNO's too. So, what's the experience out there for those that are using it? any troubles getting it to activate? In particular, with verizon or sprint or their MVNO's? Is it passing Sprints FEC? whitelisted?
Personally, I've tested a CC XT1607. I had to get a SIM unlock code since it was locked to CC. It wont work on Sprint because its CC branded and therfore, not on sprints whitelist. It appears to work on GSM- I've tested with a freedompop global SIM and after putting in the APN, and it seems to work ok. However, I haven't been able to get it to connect to Verzion. I'm testing with an activated BOOM mobile "V" SIM, and haven't been able to get it to connect, even after calling BOOM support...
I'm on H2O Wireless using this phone, works fine. They are an MVNO of AT&T. I have an older Verizon SIM card laying around that I want to see if it will work in the XT1607 here soon
Tracfone BYOP here (GSM-ATT) on XT1607. Before CM, was a little finicky with APN settings. Though the real issue I had was when I lost my number (it ported back to my old phone and TF had to ship FOUR sim cards to fix). After putting CM in, I've noticed the cell antenna is more sensitive. It will show reception even when IP is unavailable (denoted by a black X on the signal icon; this happened during a recent power failure and the cell towers were at capacity). When there are multiple towers in area, it swaps between them constantly (2 bars -> 0 bars -> 2 bars -> etc.) but my LTE is still rock solid at about 10Mbit.
No issues w/Verizon on unlocked, rooted XT1607 with stock ROM. Dropped in SIM from Droid Mini (required adapter) and was off to the races. Only minor glitch was healthy spamming of com.phone.android has stopped FCs which was quickly rectified by clearing cached data. Voice and data operate with expected clarity and speed.

My xt1607 is working fine on Ting MVNO using their GSM side that is on the T-Mobile network. I've seen band 12 (700 MHz extended range) occasionally and VoLTE seems to be used.
I've used my XT1607 on T-mobile (briefly), AT&T MVNO (FreedomPOP), and Sprint. Also roamed in about 8 other countries in Europe and Asia via Sprint Global Roaming, and used prepaid SIMs to access 2 non-USA GSM/LTE networks.
Works great on all GSM/LTE networks.
As usual, Sprint's crappy network technology gets the short end of the stick. On stock ROM, PRL/profile updating usually works, but **non-stock ROMs cannot update it**.
If you are going to run a non-stock ROM on Sprint, **back up your EFS partitions** before flashing to a non-stock ROM; restoring them will help you fix network connectivity issues without the hassle of flashing back to stock.

International S8 (SM-950FD) On Verizon

Hey guys,
I bought the G950FD on eBay so that I could root and tweak it the way I always have with my previous phones. I use total wireless which is on Verizon towers and have gotten the phone to connect just like it should, text, receive/make calls, and use data. To do this, I used the Flashable CSC Collection here to switch the CSC to VZW and it worked for a while, but after restarting I started to get some problems that I can't sort out.
1. Calls do not work anymore - I can't make or receive them at all. Dialing a number just says "Dialing" with some zeros below it, and calling my number goes right to voicemail.2. Data cuts out sometimes and shows no signal. Recently, I tried to search for carriers and reconnect to Verizon but now I can't get a connection at all without restoring a backup.3. Other observations: Using a signal info app, it seems like I only see band 1 and it is usually very slow. CDMA obviously doesn't work, so maybe that's why I can't register on the network anymore, but why did it work when I first booted up? I can't change the APN settings after switching to VZW CSC and also can't see an option for VoLTE, but that must be working right? Only some ROMs seem to work with the VZW CSC and allow me to connect to the cell towers. Changing the network mode does not do anything and just reverts back to 2G, which doesn't make sense because 2G shouldn't be possible. None of the codes that can be entered into the dialer to run the activities have worked or helped at all. When connected to WiFi, the no signal bar shows 4G connectivity and the signal bars reappear but I am still not connected.
So, what can I try and does anyone have knowledge to share about cell towers, SIMs, registering on the network, or anything else relevant to my situation? I am completely stumped and would love any input that you guys could give me and future 950FD owners who might have this issue.
I'm looking forward to hearing what you guys know,
Joe
Only verizon phones work on verizon, you can't use a non-verizon phone on its network even if its supports its frequencies. Lte on your s8 is compatible with verizon's but after it worked for a bit they disabled your imei from their network, nothing you can do about it.

Thanks for the reply! I do not think they have blocked my IMEI because I just restored a backup and everything works again. I believe it has something to do with the settings on my phone or possibly a bug with Android/changing the CSC because changing the network settings cause crashes, disconnects, and other weird behavior.

Lol don't give misinformation, they don't do this, in fact I'm pretty sure forcing all users to have phones obtained through Verizon would be completely illegal for a Telco to do. VZW doesn't even know what type of phone you have unless you register it and even if you do they don't care.

Is this tablet compatible with other providers than verizon?

I'm trying to use this (Zt500kl) with metropcs and it refuses to recognize the sim. No bars on the reception. Apn automatically sets itself to tmobile, and I've added metro's but that didn't work.
I've read the main lte bands tmobile/metropcs are supported and the tablet is unlocked so I have no idea why it's not working. There is an even a post on here from years ago with someone saying they threw a tmobile sim in without any problems.
