Hello,
Just a small question - do Bluetooth headsets also have versions or different frequencies in which they operate?
I was under the impression that any Bluetooth headset would work with any Bluetooth-enabled handheld device that supports the handsfree profile.
I can get a Plantronics M2500 (at a throwaway price) for use with my Krome Navigator (XDA II), but unfortunately, the catch is that I can't test it out beforehand. Has anyone successfully used the M2500 with the XDA II? Does it also depend on the ROM version?
Thanks for any advice.
I have plantronics m2300 and it works fine on xda2 now that I have installed BT tools.
I have a ATT 8525 running pro black 3.1 and a radio v.1.16. Just bought the motorola S9 headset. I can stream music to the headset fine.. but I can't get any phone calls to patch through to the headset. It can't be the headset because it works fine as a headset on another phone. But my 8525 works fine when it's paired up with the BT phone system in my car. When I try to enable 'Turn on handsfree" through the phone dialer menu the phone freezes up for a bit. Anyone have a idea what's going up? Thanks.
Hi Guys,
I have upgraded to Litening ROM 2.1 recently and my bluetooth is still not properly handled by i9100.
I used to be able to skype using bluetooth headset, both the mic and head phones were working, but each firmware after KF1 has successfully broken it.
Since then, bluetooth headphones work fine, however the microphone on the headphones does not transmit sound to the other party, that is when using Bluetooth for skype talks.
Bluetooth headset works normally for regular phone calls, though, both speakers and microphone on the headset.
Can anyone confirm it on their headsets and if you know anything about this (potential fix or other info), can you share?
Thanks.
If I plug my gaming headset into the jack on the cell phone will I be able to use the headset for voice calls?
Best way to find out is to give it a try. Let us know if it works
If its a headset similar to the XBox setup (separate jack for mic and headphones), then no, it wont work since there is only one output/input. If its a bluetooth gaming headset, I dont see why it wouldnt work, so long as its recognized by the phone.
Hi guys,
I've got a problem with my LG G2 during phone calls. When I'm using my bluetooth headphones (Bose Soundlink Around-Ear wireless) as headset, my voice is not transmitted to the recipient. Apart from that, everything else works. The headphones are properly registered as headset with the phone, as indicated by the pictogramm. No matter what OS I used (I tried CM12.1, CM13 and V30d), I couldn't get the microphone from the headphones to send input. Strangely enough, this behaviour is restricted to my G2. I checked back with another device (Galaxy Nexus) which worked fine, however, no setup I tried (I fiddled quite a lot) made the LG device work.
Anyone got an idea?
(Standing by for data queries)
Thanks in advance!
