roms for moto g4+ compatible to moto g4 or not ?

I have some doubts. Is a custom ROM for moto g4+ compatible with moto g and ROM found at moto g4 thread compatible with moto g4+ ?

I can only speak for the two custom ROM's I have tried but Resurrection Remix and OctOS are both compatible with my G4. And from everything I have read the other ROM's do as well.
If you read the threads for any ROM you are considering you will find the answers to most of your questions.

Noughat rom for xt1625?

Is there a working noughat rom for the xt1625? All the different noughat threads are confussing.m y firmware ends with -64.

If you are asking about stock Nougat, the answer is no. It has not been released for the XT1625. If you are asking about a Nougat based custom ROM, then there are several that work well available in the G4 Plus thread. I am currently using Resurrection Remix 5.8.1 and am very pleased with it.

According to that post I need to have N firmware install how do I do that if there's no noughat stock ROM?

That only applies to the G4+ models. The reason has to do with the fingerprint sensor which our model does not have. Over the past few months, I have used 3 different custom ROMs saying the same thing, but I've had no issues at all by not having stock Nougat preinstalled. I really wish the developers would clarify that when they post the initial threads. It only confuses people the way it is now.

Oreo Porting Assistance - XT1775 - owens - Moto E4 Plus

Hi, I would request information as to which commits to the device tree and kernel sources are necessary to get Oreo building and booting. I am having trouble porting Oreo so it would be of great usefulness to us in the Moto E4 and E4 Plus community.

Yeah, I was just asking what commits did you make to the device tree and kernel sources to get Oreo building and booting so we at the Moto E4 Plus thread can try porting Oreo over to it.

New Custom Roms for G7 River

I want to know that will there be any new custom roms for the G7 river,will there be further development on this device? I'm tired using LineageOS and AOSPExtended,I would like to try compatible pixel,havoc,derpfest, resurrection remix roms. No Treble Troubling roms :angel:

Late reply: if you look onto the CalyxOS homepage, there is an explanation why this Rom is only available for Pixel phones (and one Mi)
