i got it from Hicare app in update we dont get it but if you go to hiapp they will give you update but thnaks so much
Yes. First saw it as update in hicare app. Although it may be a placebo effect, scrolling in general, like through an app drawer seems quite a bit smoother.
I am still waiting for improvement in camera. I think we will only get it buying the new P10 Plus.
Updated. No emui 5.1 maybe someday

Official Facebook app for Android literally just released minutes ago on the Android Market!
I come across it browsing the new apps and it was right up the top!!
Get it while it's hot! It has been long awaited!
Just got it and i like it, however, it still sort of buggy and certainly will be updated soon...
If i click on pictures someone posted from the feeds, the app crashes. Some of the functions will launch the browser, but it's a good start.
** Quick update **
Does come with a widget , No Live chat and No access to Inbox
This app need too much work. Please match the iphone app.
doesnt do much, i was hoping to be able to access my facebook phonebook. but nope.
in a way its better than x.facebook.com because you can comment and like stuff.
double post sorry.
You can access the facebook phone book as a live folder on the desktop. Just press and hold > Folders > Facebook Phonebook.
Yep , The facebook phonebook is pretty awesome ,
I wonder if the iphone app has this? Damn facebook favourtising the iphone and leaving android high and dry for quite a while.........
I wonder if it is even possible we will have the chat function in this app?
Its an early release so it sucks...Hopefully they will correct the bugs

It's not a tuma!
Err I mean, it's not an official facebook app. It's just called "facebook" and it uses facebook's icons, which may or may not annoy facebook itself.
Check out on http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=74769995908 :
This application was not developed by Facebook.

So since I am new the the N1, does my pre-installed Facebook app get the update or do I need to install the store version for it to apply?

check in the downloads section of the market it should say "update available" if you don't have the latest version
I did that...I have version 1.1.3, but the market is version 1.2...yet it does not say update available, in fact Facebook does not show up in my Downloads section because it was installed on my phone when I got it a week ago.
It's there. It was just posted a bit ago.
Think you have to have installed it from the market before it'll inform you about an update.
A step in the right direction.

Definitely.
Well it is not in my Downloads and I think I know the reason. I did not download the app. The app was pre-installed and not downloaded. So if I go into the market, into Downloads, there is no Facebook. I guess I have to install it from the market to get the update.
Makes me glad Google is taking apps out of the OS in the future.

Hmm... even though it came pre-installed, it still shows up in my Downloads. Applications like Google Voice and Google Maps, which were all pre-installed when I got my phone, all shows up in my Downloads. Weird.
that is weird. None of those are in my Downloads. I only have those apps I have installed. Maybe I am doing something wrong?
all we need now is for alerts to take us to the post instead of the web
Hi everyone
I noticed my Twitter app doesn't update others' profile pictures. I can update my own one from the app and it works, but when other people update theirs it doesnt update on the app.
I am using the most up to date version of the Twitter app and I am on the Paranoid Android ROM, not the latest version though.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Probably it's twitter's fault. Even mine does this. You could clear app data. It should delete all user pictures and re-sync them.
Hi there
I got my Mate 8 yesterday (installed Google Now immediately) and so far a excellent phone!
But... something I noticed is that all Google apps like Play Books, Play Music etc. use the old app icons. Same thing with Instagram.
The phone and all apps are updated.
Does anyone know why and how to fix this. It's not a big problem but still...
Thanks for helping!

My Build number ends with B152. Does that mean there is an update? My phone doesn't say there is.
I live in Norway by the way, but that shouldn't matter I guess.
What if, i put the Android 6 stock music app (which contains the 'Last Played' function) to an Android 5.0.1 UPDATE.APP?
Will it works?

It does notify. You just have to "protect" it in Huawei's Phone Manager so that it wouldn't be killed by Huawei's s**tty power management.
Pretty much any app can push out notifs if you just "protect" it. And if you're also losing work because of the app closing in the background, just "protect" it too.
If you look at the attachment below, apps like Clash of Clans and Instagram that push out notifs are protected and apps like Fit which tracks steps is also protected so that it can continue tracking.
