I'm not responsible for any damage to your phone if you followed this guide, it's on your responsible.
this guide is to enable call recording on non-chinees version for Mate 9 MHA-L29
first you need to be rooted I used this toutrial to root with SuperSU

Download this file and put on your phone and extract it

first take a copy from HwCallRecorder folder and paste it to following directions
(if you didn't find any below directions make them)
/data/dataapp
/system/app
/hw_init/cust/hw/**Your region code**/app/
For me it's like this
/hw_init/cust/hw/meafnaf/app/
then go to /system/build.prop and add these lines to the end of the file
ro.config.hw_voicerecord=true
ro.config.callrecord.enabled=1
then go to this folder cust-hw-region-xml and copy all files to this direction
/cust/hw/**your region**/xml
then go to this folder hw_oem-xml and copy all files to this direction
/hw_oem/xml
apply merge replace if it asks
then make a reboot
now test it if it work (maybe it will give you an error, if so make a reset from settings and DO NOT check Erase internal storage)

MHA-AL00 has Call Recording out-of-box.
How to make this run automatically? I remember in b190 it has this function but now I come to b198 and there is no call recorder in my phone setting anymore.

Is there any way to make call recording work with this method for Oreo? I try add HwCallRecorder from AL00 to L29, and it's broke mobile network at all-can't call, it's write that mobile networ unreachable Read new article how to enable call recodring on huawei mate 10, set correct permissions and it's all works on Oreo =) Attach file from AL00, if you want to set call recording on Oreo, how to set permissions can see here

Voice Mate is not only included with the Verizon G2's apps, it is hard baked into the home button menu bar, popping up and launchable when accessed with a gesture from either corner.

For future reference there is a full system dump of the LG g2 on both http://storagecow.eu and my mirror site http://kitchen.cyanlabs.co.uk/LG_G2 not sure the file is on there or not just stating it any way.
I changed almost watches in the WatcWidget apk.
Includes Hungarian, Italian, Russian languages too.
You can install the zip files as the ROM file.
Copy this apk file in the Total Commander to "\system\app directory ( need 7.4 version ADB plugin ) :fingers-crossed:
If not recognized the windows your watch, first enable the USB debug : go Settings >About and tap 5x on the "Model number" ,and install the ADB Driver for SmartQ Zwatch
My results are :cyclops::
- Update.zip works with some ROMS only (not from 3.3 version) I don't know why, tried it many times. Use it your RISK only.
- You can copy the apk file into the ROM with TotalCom. just the ROM is if rooted !!! There are rooted ROM-s here and 4PDA forum here (use chrome and automatic translater , need registration )
- You can copy the watcwidget.apk into the ROM before you want to install it (rooted and unrooted )
I changed the varied background watch face. The longer subtitles fit already, as the "thunderstorms"

I like these... But one question. Would it be possible to change the font size for the English version, as well? "scattered thunderstorms" doesn't quite fit, just a tiny bit too big. Good work! The default watchfaces for this watch are kinda the worst on the market

Maybe need the root if you want to replace the WatchWidget.apk file, one more need switch on the "USB debugging".
There are some rooted ROM already (Maja's DJ ROM on the XDA, and more on the Russian forum (4PDA) )

Thanks, I tried with update.zip file, but the watch started on recovery mode and don't change nothing.
Maybe I need a rooted rom.

Which version ROM do you use? (I'm sure it works from 3.0 to 3.5 version ) and not need root .
Sometimes after update doesn't start normaly the watch. I think try again.

I have 3.0 official version, I tried to root used this method

but the recovery tool doesn't recognized my watch, I think is because is windows 8.1 .
so is this?
So after this conversation i understand that i have to reinstall a new version of rom included the watch faces.and i cant put/replace/paste i a directory, a file with the watch faces.am i right?

Look first post, added links adb driver for the watch and need switch ON the USB debugging in the watch
( go Settings>About and tap 5x on the Model number")

It's very simple.
Use totalcommander and a picture editor( photoshop ,photofiltre studio , etc)
Not decompile the "WatchWidget.apk" , just open it in totalcommander and copied from the
"\WatchWidget.apk\res\drawable-mdpi\ " directory the png files to an empty directory. If modified those copy into back the apk (overwrite).
Important: set the value in the TC configuration >Zip packer >Internal Zip compression >other =0 !
If compression bigger than zero, then the apk file will not work!!! : :crying:

I know I know how to change it but I used rom sac23
You just need to flash your local CSC file. Then it'll go away. Try to use a proper S8 CSC if you want bixby to work.

2. Clear data on all of these apps one by one
3. Go in recovery (TWRP) and make sure to backup EFS just in case !
4. Download CSCselection
5. Install the zip file in TWRP
6. Choose XAA Default (USA)
7. Reboot
8. Push the Bixby physical button and enjoy Bixby Voice all over the world !

Download all the updates from apkmirror.. doesn't work in Belgium
I can upload apk files if needed, I'm in USA but was also part of the beta test program so my voice service worked for a while now, as far as custom Rom I'm pretty sure it needs to be touchwiz Rom to work I don't think it'll work in aosp type

As far as I'm aware bixby voice is a server side upgrade. At least int he beta it was. I'm not sure simply installing the apps works. In the end it's processed on Samsung's servers...

I think the update is for the sm-g950U only :crying:
VPN is irrelevant IMHO. Afaik Samsung goes by your Samsung account. My Samsung account is registered to Germany and can't be changed. I don't think geographic location is relevant for the update.
Some people in beta had success with creating a new Samsung account with VPN, changing the location of the new account to US. But nothing you could change in an existing account...
Only the US released phone's are now using Bixby.. has something to do with the csc as well. I hope that we have the option later on to use it in the English language
THIS GUIDE WILL HELP YOU FORCE ENABLE VOLTE ICON SWITCH .WHICH BLOCKED BY HUAWEI SOFTWARE.

IN BULID.PROP YOU FIND THE LINE COMMAND ro.config.hw_volte_on=true.
ADD THIS COMMAND LINE ro.config.hw_volte_dyn=false BELOW ro.config.hw_volte_on=true line.

I was on C567 latest firmware.
It's not enable by default but after adding line in built prop.
Follow guide by OP...

Why VoLTE working with other user and not with him?
I think it's not integrated with rom that's why VoLTE enabled but not working.
By the way he is using Mate Pro which is also makes difference. And one thing more like face unlock woring with some and some not.

I think it's not integrated with rom that's why VoLTE enabled but not working.
By the way he is using Mate Pro which is also makes difference. And one thing more like face unlock woring with some and some not.

May be its depend on firmware and regions
I can't edit with setting database editor, and there is no ro.config.volte=* line

You can t edit setting database editor...You need add in build.prop through es file explorer

IN BULID.PROP YOU FIND THE LINE COMMAND ro.config.hw_volte_on=true.
ADD THIS COMMAND LINE ro.config.hw_volte_dyn=false BELOW ro.config.hw_volte_on=true line.
it should be like this ro.config.hw_volte_on=true
ro.config.hw_volte_dyn=false
AFTERADDING SAVE AND REBOOT YOUR PHONE.[/YOUTUBE][/YOUTUBE]
