[POLL] - What version of Android will Samsung release in January 2017

Hi Everyone,
Since Samsung just announced that the beta program ends Dec 30th. I was wondering which version do you believe we will see from Samsung in January.
If you believe we will see Android 7.0 the same as the beta, or you believe Samsung's earlier announcement that it will skip to 7.1.x (as changes are minor), or maybe we will see both an official 7.0 release and a start of a new beta program for 7.1.x..
Finally, you may not care which version.. just as long as we get a nougat build with the refreshed UI and new features because Samsung is almost the last one to release nougat for its flagship.
Just wondering
Happy & Healthy & Peaceful New Year to everyone!
They announced later that official release will be 7.0.. Damn Samsung.
I think they said that it depends in the country.some countrys will take 7.0 and some other will wait to go directly to 7.1.1

By the way, Google has release the Android Compatibility Test Suite for 7.1, which means manufacturers are able to test and certify 7.1.x builds.
So in theory, there's nothing stopping Samsung from releasing 7.1.x build (if they indeed had no issues porting to 7.1.x and perhaps ran an internal 7.1.x beta)
Like I said before, Samsung would no release 7.1.x before the CTS is released and it makes no sense for them to release a 7.0 or 7.1.x in the middle of a security patch cycle.
Tomorrow we will see Google's complete January security patches (Jan 5th). Judging from previous Samsung release schedules I think it's safe to say that we will see either 7.0 or 7.1.x released within 10 days of that.
Hi, like Sammobile posted on Wednesday it will be Android 7.0
"This particular build bears version number G935FXXU1DPLR and features the January Security Patch.
Bear in mind that since Samsung will not be releasing any more beta builds, this might just be the final build that the company will release to the public hopefully in the near future. "
No change in my opinion: we shall see "soon" 7.0 and after S8 we will have 7.1

just got Android 9 Pie download

Been on the beta software for a while and just received Pie 9.0
Yep. Firmware was released the day before your post.

The Google Nexus 5 was released October 31, 2013 and it wasn't long ago I saw a few official Android 10 custom AOSP roms for it.

Incremental version: 8087721594
Based on: Android 7.1.2 (NHG47K)
Security Patch version: 2022-01-01
Build Date: Tue Nov 22 21:31:47 UTC 2022

I am trying to port Amonet to this device as I want to try running OVOS (Open Voice OS) on it. As I am bit of a newbie when it comes to reverse engineering binaries, currently its taking time to understand and create my own version of lk-payload and microloader for the same. Lets hope I will be able to complete that soon.
