Hello! Today I received a update for my sgs3.. I have the unbranded version from Norway! I pressed ok, update now, but then the phone just rebooted into CWM and the signature fault stopped it all. Has anyone else received this update? And does anyone know what it does/how to install it on a rooted device?
Thanx

Try Kies. AFAIK OTA update doesn't work on a rooted phone, but Kies should...
Ok thanx for the info.. But do you know what it will update? I've manually hacked my framework to allow more auto brightness + I've also boosted my volume.. Hopefully it won't screw up my edits..

I have the same problem.
I got OTA B370 this morning.
Everything but bluetooth works.
It can't even be turned on. I tried a network reset to no effect.
Any suggestions?

I was afraid of that... Then I think I'll live with it until I get root back, so I can do a full backup first
I found out that I can't change message and ringtone either. Probably the same issue/fix.

If after update from VNS-L31C432B160 to B370 you have problems with Bluetooth and nfc (in my case) you should rollback to MM B160, then flash to B161 and get the B371 version via ota and everything should work perfectly, even firmware version. Take a look at update size, should be 1.99GB, in 99% you have installed 1.25 ota update which is not full.

Too late, and now my internal sdcard is not showing. And all apps report write error as they can't find it.
When I connect to my pc, it shows the internal memory, but it shows as empty

After a lot of problems, I managed to roll back to B161.
I am now offered B171 over OTA, but it's still only 1.25gb in size. Where did you get the 1.99gb version?

Did you rollback from version B370? Did you rollback it straight to B161 or first B160?

First I accidentally did a TOTAL wipe. I even wiped the system too by mistake :silly:
After that, I installed B160 and then updated to B161.
Omg this is annoying!
How do you rollback? Are there any complications with a device with unlocked bootloader?

So, if now it's still only 1.25gb try to reinstall again to B160 and then check if update B370 doesn't have 1.99gb. For me update B370 didn't worked, maybe for you B371.

1. Rollback using that http://consumer.huawei.com/nl-en/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=93784 to B160
2. Flash B161 firmware and check if now size of update B371 is not 1.99gb. If yes-update and everything should work.
Thank you. Where do I find B161?

That is the odd thing... When I am at B160, then I am told I have the latest firmware...
I guess I have to stick to Marshmallow as I have rolled back 4 times now. First to B160 and then patched to B161. Every time I get the 1.25gb version of Nougat offered.
I even tried using Firmware Finder to get the 1.99gb version. It installed fine, but I only had very basic Google Apps installed on the phone after doing that. I didn't even have a keyboard, and none of Huawei's apps.
I have the same problems as described here. If I dengrade to B160 do a I lose all of my data, apps and settings?
Is there an instruction how I can downgrade to B160?

It's because you've installed an unofficial Nougat update. This had happened to me once and I had to downgrade my phone.

Hello guys,
I have this problem. After I updatet to Nougat and I did factory reset, I have no information when I go to the updater and tap on the firmwire number. Anyone maybe know what causes this and could be this because I have changed my language and region? Should be worried?
Thanks in advance.
That looks normal to me. It was the same under B160 and now on B370.

You got original OTA update even though it were saying 'no information' or you were using firmware finder? I'm afraid OTA updater doesn't work properly. And do you know what is the reason for this to be caused?

Yes, got official OTA. There was no Information on the Firmware before, on B160. So it realy doesn't matter, because nothing screwed up. Don't worry about that, if everything else working fine.

Yeah that's what I think. He must talk about C432B581 it was released last April 27.
OH.
Why cannot we get new OTA on C185?
The latest version is B580 for C185, whereas the other networks got new OTA over than B580 such as B596
Huawei sucks on middle east region updates.... F**k....

And today we got B582 after months.
Every body on C185 can get B582 by firmware finder.
Hello,
I have a question about EMUI9 for my P10 Plus (VKY-L09).
It looks like the updating is already being rolled out to devices and i still didn't get the update.
Is there a way to still get it somehow?
My bootloader isn't unlocked (tried to unlock it but no luck with DC-Unlocker services)
I hope someone could help me.
thanks in advance

thanks for letting me know guys
As of today my P10+ hasn't received the pie update yet. Still on 8.0.0.327 C654. I'm in Canada. Carrier is Rogers.
Is there any safe way of manually installing the update? I'm used to flashing my older phones, but never tried flashing this one.
Thanks

Just from oreo to pie. Emui 8 to emui 9 update requires you to open up hicare on your phone and authorise the update.
Good to know. I received the official OTA yesterday night. Running smoothly! Thanks!
Does the pie update on P10 plus have the same video stabilisation problem as P10 pie?
