Hello Everyone,
So I had this message on my huawei y625-u32 screen saying:"Encryption Unsuccessful", telling me that I had lost all my data and that I have to "Reset Phone" to have my phone working again. Though it didn't after doing that, and it kept showing the same error when booting.
I have already tried putting update.app file in a folder named dload and put on an sd card and try to install it from there using the recovery mode. But, again, the same message.
Before this happened, the phone was rooted using "KingoRoot" (not"KingRoot") and I had supersu app installed, and this error just showed up one day when I was using a root app after a sudden shutdown.
Question: Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I was trying earlier to install a custom recovery and after finally getting AutoRec to install TWRP decided to reboot into Android so I could fully backup my apps, data etc as I don't have enough storage space on the device to do it locally. Unfortunately I got stuck in a boot loop that showed me the LG logo then after a few seconds it displayed "security issue" underneath.
I ran through a few things I've found elsewhere and it was in the process of doing something via "firmware update" and got to 4% when the program crashed. I had no option other than to power off the phone but now I'm stuck in "Firmware Update" mode. I've not got a clue how to fix this and after searching I did find a guide but it involves telling my phone to use a different COM port in Device Manager but I don't have that option.
Right now I have my phone stuck like this and if nobody can help it's gone from being slow but usable to a brick. The fact that I can get the Firmware Update mode gives me slight hope. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. This is the first time I've not been able to fix an issue with an Android phone myself but this G2 has been a nightmare and the sluggish performance made me finally look for a custom ROM but rooting, installing custom ROMs .... it just doesn't want to do it and now this.
I managed to fix this after my brain woke up and found the required options in Device Manager. If anyone ever looks back for this issue I used the guide below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
There are two guides there with a 2015 option using a different program and method. I used the 2015 method after the first one crashed during the flash process.
So my girlfriend's phone, a Huawei Y625 after she took the battery (I suspect during an update but she doesn't know) got soft bricked, all I get when I turn the phone on is a DataBackup screen and multiple processes failure notifications.
I tried to wipe/factory reset but I'm still greeted by the same screen and errors.
I tried installing an update rom from the website and some I found online but I get an error saying: "cannot install this package over newer build" so I tried to edit the date on the build.prop file but then I get a signature error.
The phone is not rooted and I would prefer not to have to (but I really don't care that much).
Also the screen glass is cracked so they gave her the bull**** "no warranty because of damage" excuse.
Could someone please help?
so i got my hands on a s6 edge plus live demo unit. so i decided to root it but that failed, then i installed a custom rom and it worked. so i tried to install xposed so i booted my phone into recovery mode but i had an error message that said about the frp lock, but now when i boot my phone it keeps booting to recovery mods and i can't boot it normally. so i searched the internet and found nothing, so i tried myself but i got my phone in an akward situation now... when i boot it up i immedtiatly get a screen saying "an error has occurred while updating the device software. use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software". i tried that but it said my device wasn't compatible and even with Kies and Kies 3 i had the same message. and when flash anything with odin even the stock files it says it failed and my phone says that frp lock thingy again... so can anyone help me please because i really want that phone to keep...
J5 prime (sm-g570f) is stucked on "an error while updating..conect smart switch.."
Hi,
i recently bought a J5 PRIME and i put a passcode to it and i can't remember it now,but i can access the google account that i used,so here's what i did,
i did a bit of searching online and played around with the recovery tool in the phone, and now im getting this error
"an error has occurred while updating the device software.use the emergency recovery function......smart witch pc software."
so i tried to install the stock firmware with smart switch but im getting a message that says,
"SM-G570F Does not support initializing please contact our service provider'
now the only thing i can do is to getting to the download mode, thats the only thing i can do
i was okay at that time because im also doing Software engineering and i know a bit about phoenes, soi tried to put the stock firmware through odin, but it doesn't work,it fails at a certain point, and then i checked my phone and i saw that ''blocked by frp''
then i did a bit of searching and i got to know about oem,and what frp is, so basically i didnt enabled oem when i had access to my phone.
what should i do,im freaking out here
Hi. I read all of the other threads and I've been browsing forums and solutions for a week now, but nothing has worked so I'm going to try to make a thread of my own.
I started an official update a week ago and my phone went into a booting loop. I decided not to mess with it, beyond using eRecovery which fails and trying to re-download the update that fails over and over again. Recovery gets stuck at 5%... same old same old.
The phone is unlocked, but the FRP is locked. I tried every twrp img I could find, tried to fastboot with several utilities and nothing works.. I also tried the dload method with so many packages... it all usually fails with the "Command not allowed" message.
Also, my PC doesn't recognize the phone no matter what drivers I install... HiSuite can't connect to it either. I can try recovery from HiSuite even when it says the phone isn't connected, but it fails too.
Is there anything I'm missing or that I could try? I really would rather not get rid of my phone.
Thanks!
