Hi fellas..
I know there is allot of info on here but damm, its all so confusing.. I just want my device to be faster and reliable with good performance and battery life.. But I love my S-pen.. So if you could select 1 custom rom to install that would be good at all this, which one would you install?

This is one of those questions that to many here frown upon. They want you to reed reed reed and reed. And you should.
I do hope you get a good answer m8. It is a relevant question for many.
I wish i could help you, but i don't have an Note 4 yet. But soon i think.
Then it's my turn too find a rom that makes a note 4 better than stock that i can just unroot and play pokemon Go on. With no hassle.
Good luck to us both.

Try Norma n7 port v14 it its smooth and good battery life. Flash ramkernel v6 but you have to be on new bootloader and modem to achieved this.

Find your stock firmware at sammobile or if it's here somewhere on xda. Use Odin to flash it! Lots of post here and on Google on how to use. Better than smart switch, if you ask me. I've never used smart switch or kies in my life.

No, no, no, misunderstanding. When i saw you mention smart switch, i thought you were stuck not getting rom to boot. If you got it running, all is good!
Also if you go to flash other roms and get bootloops, don't let that discourage you, it can be solved.
These phones are very hard to hard brick just flashing roms. Just stay away from ****ing with the bootloader and other partitions that have no reason to be messing with.
Edit: but on the other hand, if you're asking best way to restore back to stock, yes use Odin!
Ok thanks.. I am just now stuck with smart switch as I am unable to restore my backup that I made.. it goes toe 13% then stuck

For auto brightness you should disable AOD, for smartswitch it wont work on a custom rom.

I've some stupid lags on none wipe installs... contacts, messages..all those takes seconds to fully load... I think i will go for full wipe once I9300XXDLI7 released for CWM or ODIN..
BTW: What more suggested install ODIN or CWM (Custom) version? in terms of performance and stability?

I'd say it doesn't matter in this particular case, because XXDLI7 won't be 100 percent stable or won't be as performant as it could be, anyway.
Your best bet would probably be WanamLite, because he tweaks the Sammy Roms and usually fixes some of the bugs, too.

would be nice, so we could try S7 camera app on our Edge.
On Note 4 it works for many people.
I've found a description and translate that, how to enable it, maybe who has a deodexed rom can try it.
1. so first we need a deodexed rom, and i like stock, so can't try atm..
2. and also need: Root Explorer or other app to set rights (with root permission ofc)
3. download Camera app
4. download Activation app
5. Copy them to phone
6. In System-PrivatApp folder (file manager app set to "MOUNT R/O" ) then delete "ShootingModeProvider" folder (make a backup for sure)
7. reboot into recovery and install only the Camera app.
8. reboot system and start camera (if not the new s7 camera appears then we should change kernel. We have kernel only from Mickey as i know, so we have not so much tries)
9. If new Camera app started then we go into MOD settings of camera and we should only see Automatic mode. Download all the 6 modes.
10. reboot into recovery and install Activation app.
11. reboot, start camera and we should see PRO mode. (RAW is possible not working, it causes FC).
Yes but the problem is, that there are old versions of deodexed ROMs for N915F available. But no new STOCK Firmware.
Thats very very very bad. And i don't know i can deodexing it.
I have read a lot of that procedure, but i don't know how i can do it.

I kind of did mention but got your name wrong.
This works for lenovo a6000 and a6000+.
And this works for other phones also. Initially I was scared that I may end up doing some harm to the bootloader. And that's why I never went ahead.
Since TWRP is working on both mm and lp bootloader this makes are task much easier. I also saw a samsung device being upgraded like this. Shall I give the link??

I tested all or almost all script's variant
i tested all TWRPrecovery and no luk to update the botloader and firmware via TWRP
on all i get instalation of the .zip but no changes
so the problem is from me, from the botloader or from TWRP
