If your phone is bricked and you didn't unlock the bootloader, flashing the OS using dload and 3 buttons method is the best way to get it back. Give it a while to boot up for the first time and unlock bootloader proper way.

So it wasn't so hard to get code without ID, just need some help with programs So my job here is done, if anyone else have bricked Huawei P9 Lite, just tell me

we are at the same point... no.. wrost than before... bootloader unlocked. nothing installed

Cmon dude, what are you doing? Try doing same as I did... Via fastboot

Man unlock code is generated from EMUI site using imei, serial number, product ID and are unique for every device.
If it was that easy with a simple fastboot command I would already did it, it's not that I don't want to help you. Inform yourself..

Yes, product ID is based on IMEI, so it can be generated that way, this is how I got it

Then generate it by yourself and report back

I already did, thanks anyway

I cannot find my model in this page

Sorry for a tangent question.
The guide linked by OP is for ALE-L23 model, but would it work for ALE-L21? If that is unlikely, are there any guides for ALE-L21?
Finally, other than the model number, what else is important to match-up when trying to install custom roms?

what link?
very important -> model number (ale-l21 must be ale-l21 and not ale-l02 because they have another chipset)
important but fixable -> location (c432 must be c432 and not c034 (making things up))
also important but fixable -> dual sim and single sim
something to take into consideration -> android version
so if you have the next version ale-l21c432b564 don't flash ale-l02c69b049 over it

My phone is ALE-L23C605B140, so all sorts of different from what I see in those guides. Is it possible for me to downgrade/upgrade to a version that's compatible first, or do I just need to wait for a guide that works specifically for my phone?
My phone is also dual sim, and running Android 5.0.1 if that helps.

OEM unlock not working

Hello
I bought this phone today and I wanted to root it like all my last phones. To unlock the bootloader I followed the tutorial I found and I get the code from the Huawei website and when I input it on the phone it tells me password incorrect.
I checked what I got from huawei and it's the right number, I tried 4 times now even try to get the unlock code again which was the same and no luck.
Anyone had that problem? emailing huawei support could fix my problem?
i'm not sure what to do and I can't see anyone else with the same problem.
