Hey guys, I'm in a really tough situation here and would SERIOUSLY appreciate help I unrooted my galaxy s5 with the "full unroot" method in the Supersu app so that I could update my phone to lollipop but after I unrooted, i tried to update myphone via OTA but it keeps saying I can't because I modified the system in some way then I tried to reroot with kingroot but kingroot still can't root my phone so now I'm stuck without the update and no root! Please help me I want to reroot my s5 my specs are Samsung Galaxy s5 SM-G900H with XXU1ANG3 THANKS IN ADVANCE!
So which Android version are you on at the moment? KitKat or Lollipop? I had to install a custom recovery in order to be able to root Lollipop by just flashing SuperUser whereas in KitKat I would have had to use CF-Auto-Root (I'm not sure if it works on L) or TowelRoot, which unfortunately did not work on my device because I have the G900H as well.
EDIT: I just carefully re-read your post and it seems that you're still on Kit-Kat, so I would use CF-Auto-Root and ODIN in order to reroot the device. Does it trigger the knox alarm? I honestly have no idea but I sure hope it doesn't. I triggered mine because I couldn't care less about warranties in Egypt.
Okay thank you so much for your suggestion but I have another question. In case I soft brick my phone during the Odin process (which I have in the past) how do I flash it back to normal or something like that, I'm pretty new at these root methods :/ I have never installed a rom so I'm still on stock
Has anyone been able to or know how to root either one of the tablets I got them both today from at&t the 10.1 inch and the 8.0. I haven't been able to find any info on these mainly how to root and install recovery. Can't find anything device specific to these. Any info would be greatly appreciated
@slumerican35 you can only root them on kitkat, not lollipop. I believe towelroot will work for both. And the AT&T models have locked bootloaders, so unfortunately no custom kernels (ie no CyanogenMod type ROMs) and no custom recoveries

Think you should be fine by flashing twrp and su 2.82 I can reccomend flashing twrp and straight to extremely custom rom by Luattic though. Rooted straight away, no bloatware and better performance!

Well I sucessfully rooted it on Android 7.0 Nougat and have found out that it has been updated to support the devices that are like mine so you should be able to root it by using the root pack!

Root Tab A SM- T580

I myself have a Galaxy S5 and it's rooted. My brother on the other hand has a Samsung J3 (2016) SM-J320W8. I've tried root apps, ChainFire auto root, but to no luck.
Try to flash TWRP via Odin and then flash SuperSU latest from SuperSU website.
Has anyone had any luck with this yet?
W8 has the same chipset as j320A as far as I know
You can try that root method, just make sure you have a way to restore in case it fails.
But please, let us know if you do try
I think this is another bootloader locked device.
Hi, I have the g935u s7 edge with the latest firmware. I need to know the process for rooting this phone. I tried many times but no luck. Only the lastest firmware can be flashed without error. Thanks in advance.

To root a snapdragon variant of the s7 first you have to downgrade to nougat. On oreo Samsung locked the bootloader so no way to root it.
So how to downgrade?
