What the hell is wrong with Synapse?

I use Perseus kernel for only one reason, the LED controls, but every time I open Synapse it says boot settings cancelled! The funny part is I don't even reboot the device, and that laughable error pops up, and the settings revert back to default and don't stick! I'm sure I'm not the only person facing this issue, so is there any solution to this?
God and I disliked S Tweaks! I should be ashamed
I'm on stock MK9 btw.

Issue still persists! How does people use this kernel actually?

I got this problem too.
No idea how to fix it, flashed so many different kernels.

In my case, after updated synapse doesn't say no more.

So old...I'm seeing my embarassing "no experience + no search" post. :crying:
SOLUTION: The error is there when your phone is rejecting the new settings. If you're on the latest Synapse, you can disable it in the Settings of the app.

No, that doesn't work as well. You need to change your SELinux status to permissive.

That depends. Because I keep my kernel enforcing Selinux at all times and it applies settings fine.

[Q] N9005 Charger_Connection.ogg doesn't play when I plug my charger

There's supposed to be that sound playing when you charge your phone, but mine doesn't do that. Weird. Any advice?

Usually when replacing files on your phone, you will have to set it to the correct permission value or else the phone won't react to it.
On File Explorer, my permissions are set like this

Already done mate, permissions already set to rwrr... its been like this ever since I had it. Tried also flashing official stockrom from sammobile but still not working.

Very strange. If you want you could try using GravityBox to replace your charging sound and that would work....or just flash back stock ROM if it bothers you a lot.

Any way to get delivery report and fast unlock?

My phone is sph-l720 without T.
It's od2 stock rooted.
I want delivery reports to be activated in message app.
And i miss good feature like in wanam mod to make the device unlock without pressing on ok (for pin code).
How to get these features?

Build them in yourself, search for them, wait until someone does the mod, or go back to KitKat... I don't know what other answer you expect. To build them in yourself, you'll have to be deodexed.

I don't know what is the wrong with it.
It made me crazy trying to activate my device with no success.
And suddenly after many reboots for my device it dissappeared.
How? I don't know.

I was using galaxy tools for a while but my phone got wiped out and apparently this app was not backed up. Does anyone know where I could download it again?
It was a huge blessing for me.

I pushed the options but they dont seem to save.. im missing something
Ok i see i was trying to do the wifi settings not enable native hotspot (could not read that button as it has something written on top of it)

is this the tool apk in dropbox, sorry if its obvious? just want to make sure. I have the s4 non T variant and need the hotspot mod as well, for some reason the wifi widget I have has been dropping and turning off for some reason so looking to go with factory one if possible. thanks

are you using the Sounds app by Google? It happens to my Pie LOS too, guess it's "normal".. if it's that the issue you should disable the defult use of Sounds from the Settings and use Media Storage isntead when asked

Not using sounds app, when i try selecting an ringtone it shows no ringtones but a option to add one , whenever i chick on add it goes back to the ringtone selection section.

no ringtones and notifications sounds? then there's definitely something wrong, maybe the file flashed was corrupted? LOS (like every ROM and firmware) comes with default sounds, if there are not that's is the issue..

Every rom has the same issue, my variant is D802T, Let me know if you have some idea to fix this. I checked the rom md5 its okay. What i suspect is that due to the difference of my variant i am having this issue, tried several things but nothing worked

No normal aosp phone ringtones selector there is no sound, when i try to add sound it selects then comes back to the same place , You tube plays normally but can't play any audio file from internal storage

well then I have no clues.. I used LOS on my D802 and there was not such an issue.. maybe you should ask on Lineage section
