[solved] 2017G - not reacting - Tried the Lineage Installtion Guide - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

Hey All,
I followed this guide till the end: https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/guide-install-twrp-unlock-bl-flash-t3517379
Everything seemed to work well until I ended up in an 'Encryption Failed'-Loop. Tried some DataFormats and reflashed with no change. Since I got a message indicating that 'bootloader was unlocked' everytime i booted (with a message bringing me to g.co/placeholder???) I tried to lock the Bootloader via ADB.
Now I cant enter any mode and whenever it tries to boot up it will show the ZTE/Android screen for 2s before going all dark. PC it says QUSB_BULK is plugged in but i cannot execute any axon7tool command.
Did I kill it?
Ok, I solved the bootloop issue by "Power On - wait until Android screen comes up - hold both volume keys for about 5s". After that execute "fastboot oem unlock" on your PC.
(i guess this is common knowledge but just in case some1 encountered the same problem)

I think I just screwed up unlocking my bootloader...

I'm using this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1182871&page=61
The phone rebooted and said "Failed to boot 0x1000
No OS detected, going into RSD mode in 5 seconds
Press a key to stop countdown... etc."
I accidentally pressed a key or two...
EDIT: Never mind. I fixed it
How did you fix it? I had the same thing happen to me and I haven't been able to find a fix.
Thanks!
LOL -- your post reminded me of this:
Anyway, I just unlocked this week but didn't use this script. I did, however, end up at exactly this place... I didn't notice my phone had rebooted and pretty sure I missed the 5-second window. My phone listed several different modes (RSD, recovery, etc.) but when I looked carefully, it also said "Starting fastboot protocol support" at the bottom -- that is, it automatically chose fastboot when I didn't make a selection.
If that's what yours is doing, try issuing the "fastboot oem unlock" command (this is assuming your phone is still plugged into the computer at this stage) and proceeding from there. It worked when I did it.
I'll go ahead and note that my phone froze on the splash screen (with "Unlocked" at top left" at the next reboot; a battery-pull and second reboot solved that problem.
First time I tried to do bootloader unlock same thing happened. Got stuck at fastboot while flashing sbf because drivers took a while to install. I just did fastboot oem unlock and then reset, that did it.
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
I got this message after trying to unlock bootloader using this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1202883
The RSD program got stuck at 96% and them eventually said failed. I took out the battery and put it back in and got the same message. Even though the program said failed, the Atrix has actually been unlocked because if you try to unlock again, it'll say failed instantly. So after that you can continue on with the fastboot & cmd part.
Use the volume keys to select fastboot and keep going.

Phone dead, only cyanogen recovery available

After many failed attepts to encrypt my phone using VanirAOSP ROM (Android 6.0.1), decided to try again, and phone is useless now. As always, encryption even didn't start after phone rebooted, but this time I can't even start Android or properly boot into fastboot/flashmode.
Put simply, if I boot my phone now, it displays Sony logo and then screen goes blank. If I keep pressing volume up button, Cyanogen Recovery starts. But since it has no option to flash a ROM, it's useless to me (I had TWRP installed as well, but this one is somehow gone now). If I boot phone into ADB mode, I see device number, and "unauthorized" message next to it. If I try to boot into fastboot mode, blue light comes in, but list of fastboot devices is empty.
However, if Flashtool is running, it displays a message "device connected in fastboot" mode the same second I try to boot my phone into fastboot. Unfortunately, that's not much help, because if I try to flash original Sony ROM via flashmode, it doesn't work - it displays a popup window "disconnect device and re-connect in flashmode...." but when I do it, nothing happens (the popup is still here, which means device not found). The same happens if I try to do anything what requires fastboot - even if Flash tool shows "device connected in fastboot" message first, it then asks to re-connect phone in fastboot mode (the same popup), and nothing happens agains.
Any ideas on how get the phone working?
did you try to flash advanced stock kernel with recovery?
Problem fixed with Flashtool by flashing another ROM successfully. Several minutes ago I accidentally connected the phone to another USB port on my PC, and it started working. Not sure why this problem occured at all, because that "non-working" USB port worked fine previously, and it also works now when ROM is properly flashed.

Lenovo Yoga 2 1050L stuck at Lenovo logo/'Fastboot starting...' after rooting attempt

Hello,
before I get into detail with my current problem at hand, I want to say that I'm extremely new to flashing/rooting my tablet and in most cases am very dependent on guides and how-tos. That being said, I've search through this forum among others in order to get my problem solved but had no success so far. So your expertise is basically my last resort and hope.
I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 1050L, as stated above, and tried to root it yesterday using this guide. Unfortunately, I messed up when it came to the system's image from the custom ROM because I downloaded the original firmware for the 10'' version L instead of the further below mentioned recovery firmware in step 3 (though that link was dead anyway). Moreover, I also included the recovery.img in the custom flash process and not only the system.img and I think the error occurred while flashing the recovery partition.
Long story short, the flashing process failed and I was left with a non-booting tablet.
The status-quo is I can boot into the bootloader mode (power button + volume down) where it'll say "normal boot", "recovery mode" etc. at the top with the android figure lying on the ground with an open stomach.
With the help of the Fastboot Tethered Recovery Launcher I can use the T3 option to change the device status to "fastboot-online". From what I understood I can then enter recovery mode if pressing volume up (so I can do a data/cache wipe) but it says
"could not open sys/devices/virtual/backlight" and I couldn't figure out what that's supposed to mean or how I can solve it.
I also tried to flash it again with the stock rom downloaded from here with the Intel Phone Flash Tool 4.4.4.
But that always failed at the "fastboot -s <device> oem wipe ESP" operation. It failed to execute that command resulting in a timeout only to try it once again. After that second attempt ended in a timeout too, it went on to the next step "fastboot -s <device> oem start_partitioning" but that also failed, ultimately making the whole flash process fail.
The curious thing (for me, anyway) was that I could flash the boot.img, system.img and recovery.img individually (by going to "Custom Flash" in the Phone Flash Tool and then selecting only one of those images) and all three processes succeeded. However, I only got the success message on the Phone Flash Tool, the tablet itself got stuck during the first reboot during or after the flash process.
In fact, every boot/reboot results in the tablet being stuck at the display of the Lenovo Logo. Nothing happens after that, it just stays there.
This happens whenever I try to boot normally or boot straight into recovery mode (Power + Volume Up). The only way I can boot my tablet and actually do something with it is the bootloader mode (Power + Volume Down) but as stated above, from there I didn't manage to get anywhere else so far.
Another thing I have tried is to enter fastboot mode because I read that I can also recover from there. But whenever trying to enter fastboot mode the tablet's display goes black, then a small text says "Fastboot starting..." and that's it. Nothing happens after that, no additional text or new screen.
What I also noticed is that whenever the tablet reboots itself or if I try to boot/reboot it, the tablet is not in the list of available devices anymore if I enter "adb devices" or "fastboot devices" in my command line (with connected tablet). Only when I redo the process with the Fastboot Tethered Recovery Launcher (option T3), can I access the device with those commands again (at first I could access it with "adb devices", later on only with "fastboot devices" and to be honest, I don't know why that is).
I actually just want to wipe the data of the tablet and install the stock ROM again because I think there's just some corrupt data that keeps my tablet from booting normally. But right now I don't even know how to do that because everything I've tried so far didn't work. Not even starting the tablet with the so-called "hard reset" (Power + Volume Down + Volume Up) worked, I only got a black screen in that case.
Because I tried to solve this problem myself all day yesterday, my tablet is now also down to about 20% of battery and I don't know if I can charge it up without a proper ROM installed (probably not). So that's another factor that's hindering me from trying out other steps.
I know this is a lot of text but I still hope there's someone out there who can help me with my problem. I am at my wit's end and would highly appreciate anyone who has knowlegde about this situation with this tablet helping me.
Best regards and thank you in advance

"Your device is corrupt", turn-off not possible

Hey guys,
I had Lineage OS 14.1 installed on my G6 and tried to update to the most recent nightly straight from the OTA notification. This famous bug I did not know about before caused a boot recovery loop. Wiping Dalvik/ART and the cache did not help. Finally, I ran the following commands I got from a Reddit post about this issue:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/soc/624000.ufshc/by-name/misc
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/soc/624000.ufshc/by-name/fota

Now my phone displays this message: "Your device is courrupt. It cannot be trusted and will not boot".
The big difference to other posts like here and here is that my G6 is stuck in a cycle of automatic rebooting and displaying the said error message.
I tried any button combination I could find, but right now I'm not able to turn it off. So I also can't boot into fastboot or "download mode" in order to re-flash TWRP. I'm still able to perform factory resets, but so far it didn't help.
Does anybody have an idea how I could get my phone back to work? I'm glad for any help. Thanks in advance.
edit:
I was able to access fastboot (Volume down with the usb cable connected) but since the bootloader is locked again, I can't flash anything. Performing another unlock only causes another error ("bootloader unlock key write fail"). I guess I'll just have to wait until the battery dies and I can try to enter download mode.
edit2:
Turns out the phone doesn't have to be turned off in order to enter download mode. Just keep pressing the volume up key while the LG logo is shown and the USB cable is connected. After that I pretty much just followed this post (just downloaded the G6's latest firmware instead): https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73756779&postcount=9
As a PSA -> DO NOT RELOCK BOOTLOADER ON ANY PHONE UNLESS YOU ARE STOCK!!!! YOU CAN AND PROBABLY WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE!!!!

Need help installing twrp with odin

first of all sorry for my english
i have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and of course like anyone else in this forum, i want to have stock android installed on my device. I have once tried this before with my Sony Xperia Z and it worked flawlessly. So that means that i have a little experience on the process. I approach it using the common method which is using fastboot and adb command. But later i found out that i can install twrp with a software called Odin. Here's where the problem came. I followed the instructions on the net, but the feedback i got was something like "bla3 installing recovery bla3 nand writting! bla3 resetting bla3 res ok! bla3 PASS!" The status box always shows "RESET!" for a few minutes then "PASS!" But twrp still isnt installed. I think that the software tried to install it but then it resets it back to default... Please someone help me trough this
my device condition
- missing oem unlock
- cant get fastboot to work (didn't detect the device in device manager while in fastboot)
- not sure if it's unlocked or not
- cant get into stock recovery after tried to install twrp with odin ( stuck at samsung logo with some writings on the top left corner)

Before you install twrp, disable auto restart option in Odin. When you have done, do Power + Home + Volume Up to make it shutdown and immediately to to recovery (if not shutdown do volume down then when screen shuts immediately put up).
The system removes twrp so that's why it happens.

First of all, thank you for replying, but that didn't change anything. I made sure that I followed the instruction on the web including untick auto reboot. But I realized something yesterday, HOW does the software manage to "communicate" with the tablet??? Because when I clicked start, there's something happening on the tablet screen, so that means that they had successfully communicated to each other in fastboot right??? But when I used the manual way, my pc can't communicate with my tablet in fastboot mode, because when I typed in "fastboot devices" i got no result and when I tried "fastboot flash recovery" it just says "waiting for device" so that means that there's something wrong with my driver right? device manager looks fine and i made sure that the driver is installed (samsung usb driver) but it still won't do anything when i typed in any fastboot command. But somehow Odin managed to communicate with my tablet??? idk why
PLSSSS HELP MEEEEEE
