Running full-stock Verizon 7.0
I'm having a problem whenever I'm connected to my truck's Bluetooth (Ford F150 with Sync 4.6 update) - my microphone is disabled. I can't use it for OK Google, can't talk to the Assistant, and can't use it to dictate a text message or reply.
Issue is not present on U 6.0.1 on my other Edge.
Anybody else seeing this issue?

Hi,
Does anyone experience problems with voice dialing with bluetooth headset? I've got Plantronics ML20 and while it pairs correctly with my SGS2 (with latest nightly), it works only partially. I can receive incoming calls and it works without problems, but whenever I try to initiate voice function (like voice search in GNow, for example, or voice commands) application just hangs - GNow just states "Initializing" and nothing happens.
I've checked logcat and every time I try to use headset I get lots of errors:
Code:
/TinyALSA-Audio Input(1867): pcm read failed!
Have anyone else had such problems? Because apart from that (and camcoder, but that's a given) ROM works perfectly for me and I'd like to use it as daily driver.

It worked very well on Samsung's stock 4.1.2 JB and was very useful while driving. I switched Samsung's default voice commander to GNow voice search using Bluetooth Launch and it just worked.
Hello, mates...
Im facing problems when calling via bluetooth after upgrade to Lollipop (OTA zip file, from 4.4.4, stock, root). Theres a big delay in audio when dialing, so I have no audio either in phone and in car radio for more than a minute after dialing. The rest is working well, receiving calls has no delay in car, and I can connect to bluetooth speakers immediately.
Ive tried to delete and repair devices, but nothing works. Anyone suffering the same problem or this can be an error due to image a have installed?
Thanks in advance
Also having similar issue with the bluetooth audio and there's a bug reporting thread on Google about a bunch of people having the same issues. No fixes that I have seen.
Hi!
My hands-free set in my car was working well with my old S4 mini with Android 4.4.4. Now I upgraded to S5 with android 6.0.1 and I have now the problem that the bluetooth connection is lost after random time. Is this problem known or are their any new bluetooth settings I can check?
Thx!
Same problem witch become a month after upgrading lolipop to marshmallow ! ??
Same problem here - any solution?
Hi guys, I am having the same problem - were you able to find any solution?
Here a detailed description:
I am using Galaxy S5 G900F, and ever since the MM Firmware upgrade to Android 6, I have been experiencing the most annoying problem, and I am not able to find any reference to it on the web – I have been googling it forever, but it seems no one besides me is seeking advice on it:
When connecting my Galaxy S5 to my car’s Hands-free Bluetooth and performing a Whatsapp Voice Call, the call initially runs over the car’s Bluetooth, but after about 30 seconds the call goes back to the phone’s speaker.
Nevertheless, Whatsapp continues to show the Bluetooth icon turned on, as if the conversation were still running over Bluetooth.
Pressing the Bluetooth icon in the Whatsapp call twice (disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth for the call) moves the call back to the car’s Bluetooth, but then again after about 30 seconds the call goes back to the phone’s speaker, still showing the Bluetooth icon as connected within the application.
A few important things to mention:
a. Regular voice calls are working perfectly over the car’s Bluetooth
b. This used to work before
c. I installed the Lineage 14 – Android 7 – ROM and it resolved the problem
I am looking for a solution for the MM ROM, as I am using the great SuperLite ROM.
Thanks!

Update @ 22-04-2017:
Somehow.... the Bluetooth issue just fixed itself.. I didn't change any settings.
It just started to function normally the next day!
It's still a mystery to me... but I'm glad it works fine now

Hi,
I just got my S8 and I love it! Everything works well.. except:
When pairing the S8 via Bluetooth with my Parrot MK6100 carkit it won't sync the contacts from the phone to the carkit and when I play audio it streams it all scrambled.
The audio trough the carkit sounds like the phone is very far away and it's about to loose the connection. Actually the connection with the phone was dropped a few times while streaming audio. This only happend when I paired the phone the first time. The distance between both devices is about 30 centimeters...
Normal voice calls are ok.
The carkit has the latest firmware version 1.03a. I already did a reset to factory settings.
It works fine with other smartphones like my previous Sony Xperia Z3 and LG G4 running Android 6.0.1.
Samsung customer service was unable to help me with this issue. According to them, no other complains have been registered about Bluetooth issues with the S8 so far. At least in the Netherlands.
Streaming audio to other Bluetooth devices from the S8 does work fine.
Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be? Could it be Android 7.0.1 or maybe the S8 itself, as it features Bluetooth 5.0??
And of course, any ideas on how to fix it?
Thnx,
Lorand
