Most of time, it's a hardware problem, not software. The forum is full of members who shared the same problem, like me.
Good day.

i'm currently on Nougat

For me it's working, also for others. Did you clean install again? Maybe something is not fine with the installation. Did it work on other roms?

Maybe they forgot to flash CM13 before when coming from cos12.1 or they have hardware issue in general or something the fp reader will have from time to time which can be solved by deleting some files or credentials. There's a fingerprint tread in zuk forum where you can read about those common issues, they ALL have nothing to do with rom.

Most stable Custom ROM to date?

So I just upgraded from Moto X Play to Moto X Style and I was wondering, Other than the stock ROM, what is the most stable ROM right now? I'm thinking of jumping from stock ROM to custom ROM, can any of you give me an advice of which ROM should I flash?
Thanks in advance

Well if u say my suggestion then try rr nougat or give a shot to cm 14.1
I use aicp because cm14.1 has stopped the development and maintainer of that thread is currently merging through Lineageos which usually takes time (even lineageos is not out till now officially)
Cm 14.1 has multi window which aicp doesn't have but aicp is ahead of cm14.1 for weeklies
U try by ur own...
Du
AICP is very fast and very stable with most everything working well. My only issue is camera performance but I may be in the minority with that issue.

How bug free is it? How about the battery life? Do you get around 3-4 SOT with normal usage? This got me curious as i am also finding a great ROM to suit my needs.

I never had any problems at all, battery life is better than most 3rd part roms but not quite stock (Moto knows how to optimize a rom), about 3 hours or so over a full day.
Again, I'll say the same thing as others, try them out, it's easy to do.

so I tried out and flashed RR Nougat but when I flashed it I got this a strange error at the log, I couldn't remember what it is but I took a screenshot so you can see and tell me what this means.
Dirty Unicorns seems to be working quite well on my device. Have tried a number of the other Nougat based custom roms but came back to this for now.

BrokenOS devs don't allow links to be shared here...
How could you not find it with Google, just type BrokenOS and that's it and the first two results are the official Google+ group and their website called Dysfunctional ROMs... Easy from there.

Anybody know if there is any plan to include Volte in Flyme 6 for Zuk z2?
Is VoLTE working in the latest release?
Anyone!
How to get VoLTE working in Flyme?
The UI is smooth.....
But VoLTE?
Have you tried as mentioned in other ROMs discussion? You need to enable VoLTE from stock ROM first. Make sure you get the HD symbol (??). Then you flash other custom ROMs. May be here also it is the same. Let us know how it goes.

you must install Android 6 based stock or flash zip from this https://pan.baidu.com/share/link?uk...包/ZUK Z2 底层&parentPath=/总ROM文件夹/YouLinw ROM作品 link for downgrading to Android 6. There you will also find zip which returns you to Android 7.
How to install this zip:
Make wipes, reboot, flash zip, reboot, flash ROM.
Known bugs
Hi
The rom is good I am using it since 4 days
The known issues are
1)Volte doesn't work at all
2) battery is draining fast
3)unable to sync my contacts from Google account
4)and the last issue is heating issue
Rather than these four issues everything works well the camera and everything. The major issue to me is Volte i humbly request the developers to to solve this issue.
Thank you ?

FN users with latest NOUGAT ROM here, please!

Hi FN users, I've been told that only my phone has the back speaker bug and it seems really odd for me since I have the latest lollipop bootloader, the latest twrp by nick verse and the latest nougat rom, all the latest and I always do a super clean flash (wipe everything except sdcard and usb-otg, even the android folder in sdcard as suggested once by nick verse). I'm not stupid and not young so I just want to know if it's only my phone problem or others have too but they didn't notice that. Test this please and tell me back your results:
1. Reboot your phone (just to start clean)
2. Make a phone call and speak as long as you want
3. After ending the call, listen to music or watch a video.
4. After ending listening to music or watching a video, approach your ear to the back speaker (that behind your phone).
5. Do you hear your speaker still working silently?
31 people saw the thread... Please can you test?

You can answer this by yourself !
Go and flash latest stock rom, not crap aosp, and get no speaker bug.
That.s all I have to say since I complained about audio on all the aosp roms for j5, and no one listened.

Also FN here, and no such thing on my cm 12.1 by nick, i think it is Lineage 14.1 problem
