[Q] How to install themes and UCCW skins?

Guys,
How can I install themes and UCCW skins on nexus 4?
I have downloaded blue infinitum theme from playstore. After download, I cannot find it anywhere to install. Can somebody list steps?
I have installed nova launcher and downloaded couple of uccw skins. Can somebody list steps?

My phone is not rooted. Does UCCW work on rooted phones only?

You can apply uccw themes through the uccw widgets. To apply regular themes you need a custom rom that will accept themes.

Aren't you just suppose to download a theme in ".zip" form then stick it in a folder you create named "skins?"

Added script for Fake Nexus Rom launcher removal, the dev did rename the apps and remove ending in "Prebuilt"

You can just flash this zip via TWRP Recovery. It will replace the old & current Nexus/Pixel Launcher.

Update: Will upload a new version including one pixel apk for a Live Wallpaper and a possible modded Launcher Icons pack. I'll upload it once I verify the source location of the apps.

I installed the flashable zip via twrp. Was using pixel launcher earlier. (old version) The launcher didnt change.. The wallpaper options are available now..

Flashed this on my Oneplus One, 3 and Nexus 5. Works great. Thank-you so much @edwaine and @LlabTooFeR

Just a question, do I need to be on a Nougat rom to have the white transparent shade at the dock? Because I don't have one on stock MM.

hi, i tried, but doesn't works on my N5.
i downloaded the file, copy it to telephone, and flash it from recovery mode.
if a search the wallpaper, i see the new one, of pixel, but nothing else...made i a mistakes into installation? have you some suggestions?

What ROM are you on??
Also did you exactly long press the home screen or go into the display settings to change the wallpaper?

stock 6.0.1, to see the new waalpaper i keep press the home screen, and selected wallpaper

It installed the launcher as System, but still I don't get the Google Swipe to left screen, even if activated. I didn't unistall the old version first; is that the problem?

Try Nova launcher. It's literally the best you can get.

This is the preview version. Latest pixel launcher from 7.1 system dump allows only 4 icons in dock (at least in our g4).

Just google Nexus launcher.
Open the Android Authority website link.
Download the .apk file.
Install the launcher. That's it !
Post that , go to setting- ( personal ) Home - Set Nexus 3 launcher as default ( enable it ).
I have done and currently using the same.

Date doesn't change in the homescreen
It's 12:00 AM now, and the date hasn't changed yet. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks!!

Google Pixel Experience Theme MOD for AOSP ROM Santhosh M​
Hi all,
I have seen most of the users are using AOSP Android 7.1.2_r27 of Santhosh M ROM. I have created a MOD for this ROM. If you want to enjoy the Pixel Experience Blue Accent color and Round Icons you can flash this file using the TWRP recovery.
I have just modded Round icons and Blue Accent color. I am working on Pixel Animated Navigation Bar. I will soon complete the work and come up with the new zip files.
How to Install this Mod
Reboot your phone into Recovery
Click on Install button
Search for the Pixel_Experience_MOD_AOSP.zip in your directory
Flash it and then Reboot your Phone
Clear your default launcher data.
What is inside this Mod?
- Pixel Round Icons
- Pixel Blue Accent
- Round Icons for Settings and Downloads
- Pixel Animated Navigation Bar. (Thanks to @Sashko98)
If the mod is not working or any issues comment below for an update

1:- SystemUI Crash during booting after flash zip file.
Ans: This is mainly cause after new official AOSP upgrade. If its happen then inform to me i will try to update the zip to latest build
2:- After Installing zip screen my phone is stuck on bootloop.
Ans: This is mainly cause after new official AOSP upgrade. If its happen then simply dirty flash your ROM and try to inform me and I Will update your zip files.
3:- Round icon is not working
Ans: Make sure u have set ur DPI to 320 or 480, then only it will get round icon on gapps.
4:- Ok google hotword is not working,
Ans: You must install google assistant installation zip, before installing u must read installation instruction. You must have latest google app beta.
5:- My device is not working properly after installing zip.
Ans: Don't blame to any one. No one will force you any one to install this zip, This is upto you, take the risk by your own,
6:- Will this work other than AOSP 7.1.2_r27
Ans: Answer Is big NO. This is exclusive for AOSP 7.1.2_r27, Dont install on other ROM, if you​ do it then don't post your problem here,

Try clearing the data of the launcher and check if it is working or not.

Great mod, works like a charm.

I am working on it. I am facing some issues in modding animated nav bars. I will update the mod if I will succeed in modding.

Will you add boot animation and sounds also? Would be nice to have a mod including as much as possible so we don't have to flash multiple mods

The thing is mod size will increase a lot it would be around 150+ MB.

I had to reset the icon settings in Nova Launcher to get it working. What launcher are you using?

I'm using the normal pixel launcher but I got it working I cleared the data again ND it started working but only a few apps are round the rest are basic

Yeah, I don't have all round icons either, but I guess that is because the app itself don't have a round icon.

I suppose but still a well done job !

I was using LineageOS and tried porting Pixel Nav bars. I have successfully ported. I will start porting again for AOSP ROM.

Custom fonts

Is there a way to install and use custom fonts on this this device?

I use magisk Rosemary font it was from my pixel 4xl.
I got it from that forum.
All I did was install with magisk and then it replaced one of the 2 fonts we get to choose from.
I haven't tested any of the other fonts I used with the pixel 4xl but they probably work as well.
I think lawn chair launcher beta allows for font changes as well.
