I can tell you this, it has Alexa support, improved voice recognition for Alexa and 10X camera zoom. As far as the rest, I do not know.
The article I read about it this morning said the updates were supposed to roll out at lunch today, but nothing on mine.

Nope and honestly its trash. Tried to set a timer and said it couldnt. Immediately put it in a hidden folder never to be seen again.
However this update has a bunch of bug fixes.
Dropzone popups when accepting permissions is gone
Ok google popup in the camera and other apps is gone
Screenshot now works on the first try
iheartradio doesnt shut off when the screen sleeps anymore.
Thats all ive found so far. Add those plus the 10x zoom and Id say its a great update.

C567B183 is available on firmware finder.
Currently using a US Mate 9 in Hong Kong and it's getting the B183 firmware now!! I was previously on the B167 firmware.
It's got the March security updates too!

New update. I downloaded last night. It adds something called Fullscreen? Any one else got any news on what changed? Says security patch level is October 1, 2016. Was about 250MB

You know what? I'm not sure now. I could've sworn I read an article saying there was, now the only reference I find is for T-Mobile S7's getting a performance update.
I was on rooted stock PI2 and accidentally said OK to the OTA and it sent my phone into bootloop. Had to start from scratch.

So, here in KC, I was curious to see if an update was available for my Sprint S7 Edge to 7.0 and its installing now. No notification or announcement (or I am oblivious to the obvious) from Sprint and my phone is set only to check manually, once I selected to check it came up with a 1628MB download. Mods, please delete if this is in the wrong spot or redundant, but a quick search did not show anything but the beta. I tried to join the beta but was too slow so unless this is a fluke, or I suddenly got included in the beta this looks to be available. I'll delete or update once it is done. I finally broke down and traded in my note7 for the s7 edge...first off not a bad phone at all. Pleasantly supprised actually! When do you think 7.0 or 7.1 will start rolling to us? I have the g935p. Should I just keep searching for it? Anyone else around the Minnesota area get the update yet? Thanks in Advance!

Websites are reporting 7.0 is rolling out to the s7 and s7 edge now starting with beta users and to be on the lookout. I will start manually searching for the update a couple times a day.

I just got my essential phone off of swappa and it's running build "NMI75B test-keys". For some reason I am unable to update any system apps via the play store while on this build. Camera, Essential Resources, and Essential Services are all showing updates available, but every time I've tried to download them I get error code 505. I think there is something with this test build firmware that is preventing me from updating system apps via the play store. Every other app (150+) that I have installed has worked flawlessly.

Build NMI75B is not an official build from Essential. The device in reference from the XDA link is using incremental beta SW in test - 64C is the official release build at this time but we will be releasing another public SW update within the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

Yeah I saw that thread. It doesn't explain why some phone inexplicably updated to this test keys build tho. I'm waiting to hear back from support on the matter. I just want to make sure I'm able to receive all future updates.

But what is B140 ?... nothing more than AR.. and unless you are a selfie freak the novelty last about 2 seconds.
Facical Unlock (B192) is what should have been released instead of this.. The 1st market received B192 the last week of January.
At Least I've got the February Security Patch.. believe it or not, I was still on the December 1 Security Patch... :angel:

EMUI has matured.. And, because Huawei / Honor controls their overlay AND the SoC.. it's a smooth running machine.
The Software is PACKED with useful features from tempeture adjustments to themes, dpi and much more.
This is the 1st device I've owned where I can honestly say, *Rooting is an OPTION.. Not A Requirement*

I completely agree to the point that Honor made "Rooting, an Option but not a requirement" with their emui .I bought this device with a few doubts as I tried custom ui like Miui and vibeui before and not really liked them .But I have no regrets for buying this device and I totally love emui now

Just keep checking your Settings.. and clicking that "System Update" line.. it will be there...
In case any of you that have not received B140 and want to see what its all about.. I've attached a video.

Hey I got the update to B140 today, but I'm having an issue with the screen going dim when I use chrome browser? I don't have auto brightness on and I've already cleared my cache and factory reset the device. But the issue is still there!

Hello.. I'm Assuming, You Did Not Have This Issue Prior To Receiving The B140 Update ?
Since you've Factory Reset your device might I suggest you go into Setting > Display > Sleep and set it to 10 minutes.. and see if that fixes your issue with Chrome... Only Chrome huh ?

This is an EMUI bug and has shown up in devices like the Honor 8, P10, Mate 9, etc.
When a few people were reporting this issue on the Honor 8 I didn't face it so I'm assuming it affects only a small number of people.
This showed up immediately after the update right?

Just received Google March Security Patch for my Mate 9. Live in SF. Impressive that update came so fast. Hopefully, Hauwaei realizes how important it is to continue to fix bugs, add security.
Phone is impressive, especially battery power. Never had a phone, being power user, that goes all day and still 50% at night. Beautiful screen, fast, storage.

I had the update waiting for a few days, but due to having TWRP, I couldn't install it. Flashed the stock recovery yesterday and updated. The April update is already on FF so hopefully Huawei will continue to push out updates in a timely fashion

Hope you're right. Continuous updates would give US customers confidence in brand & counter negative publicity by right wingers, who are only concerned with protecting US commerce, not security.

On the firmware database it shows b367 as 2.3 GB

If the April patch (USA version) works like the March version, I'm guessing early May to be approved.
FF shows it, but not available, EMUI update shows no updates, so I'd guess it will be a few more weeks
for most people unless you want to jack with the phone a bit.

I updated my Mate 9 to the March Security Update a few weeks ago, and ever since then, a few apps have been crashing on startup. Google keep, Gmail, etc. It doesn't say anything after when crashing. And it's annoying as hell.
