If You can assembler, that maybe could reorganization bootloader for better cohesion

If you will need any tester with H815 you can count me in I use G4 as daily driver but I can swap it with Galaxy S3 [emoji14]

I'm sure many here will not see this as a "bad bad bad news". Having an official lollipop firmware in a 2.5 old device is more than anyone could ask for. Having a solid 5.1.1 build is better than having the latest build.
More than happy with the support from SONY,and more than enough to stay on the ship

This is a bad news bcz there are many people have a( locked bootloared allowed no) so there is no custum rom based at cyanogenmod or any other custom rom ...there are just custom rom based at stock rom..so in the futur for the bootloared allowed no there are no update no officiel or any custom

So sonny should give as a solution to pass from bootloader allowed no to allowed yes for installing the custum rom :crying:
Bad news for us....but it waz expected.
Cherish to sony for long support to our old device.Better than other OEMs.
Yea 5.1.1 was the best build i agree.
But i hope(i know they will) our rom devs will port android 6.0 from other xperia devices getting dat version.Kudos to sony and our rom devs.:good::good:

I agree with you i hope our best dev make a stock rom for z and z1 based at android 6.0 for LB and UB
Creating Android M for LBL is not possible bcoz it'll need custom kernel. I think our devs'll give some test builds on next 1-2 weeks, AOSP code'll be published in 2-3 days

I'm not surprised. It's fantastic that we even got 5.1, the Z is so old now. All good things come to an end
But what I am wondering, if someone will port 6.0 AOSP... Not CyanogenMod or other forks, they are always unstable and breaking things. And will take a long time anyway.

I'm very happy with the updates we have had and hope that I get 2.5 years of updates on my Z5 most people would have upgraded by now anyway however if I didn't have a phone I would happily purchase the XZ. It's been a damm good phone even with a locked bootloader.

the bootloader is directly connected to the TA Partition and every phone has a unique one so its impossible to change from yes to no
Chasmodo has already said that he wont support marshmallow on Dirtyunicorn for Xperia Z.
If people were expecting Sony to support Xperia Z for as long as they own the device then they were dreaming.
We have a stable 5.1.1 be happy. The device is more than 2.5 years old....

Well we must move on i think. Theres no such thing as "lifetime support". But we can rely on our talented custom rom chef outhere.
May god give them strength and will to port 6.0 to our device.

How does it work to get an official CM release? I remember one developer from CM saying some of them had the Idol 3 and it was a real possibility.

IMHO at this moment the best solution is the original firmware, TWRP + SuperSU + Xposed + Gravitybox.

Android N ON ''i9506'' ?

Are any dev here that can port or make Android N from source
i would like to help but i only know how to flash ROMs and etc nothing about programming
Thanks!
Taking into account that Qualcomm is not releasing drivers for older SOCs, I don't think so it will be possible...

I think CyanogenMod will just skip to Android 7.1 (Nougat MR1, API 25) Sooo we would have to wait longer to get a stable Nougat Build..... I will stick with 6.0 tho.

[WIP] MIUI 8 for H815/H811/H818 (Stock 6.0 Based) Multilanguage

Hello everyone!
As everyone know, there is no MIUI developer for our device. So i decided month ago to start working on MIUI 8 for LG G4 for my personal use.
Im still working on it. I start with Nexus 5X Miui 8 port base and some MiCode patchroom, all implement in stock MM source for G4. Already it boot, but freeze when setup wizard appear (some kernel and framework errors).
I am studying, so i don't have very much time to work at the same time. When i will solve freeze on setup wizard, i will share code and rom for some testers (you can sign to tester list in comments).
First will be released H815, then other versions. That's my third MIUI project, but previous was not realeased.
Of course it will be UNOFFICIAL project.
I have in plans also create MIUI for stock based rom (with glance view, quick window etc), but first need to finish this project).
You can support my work by buy me a coffee.

greetings
Nice to hear that miui is on the way.
I can test to but i need my Phone as daily driver so i can only test at weekend if its very unstable ?
Wait H818?
Doesn't that variant not have a bootloader unlock? or did I miss something
unless I got you wrong, and that you meant that you will work on h818 once there is a bl lock
Anyway, happy to see that this device (not my variant tho ;-; ) will be getting Miui, it will be a refresh for our community!

First thing, you are awesome! Also, if you manage to create a miui for h818 without BL unlock, you should be able to do it with all the H815 variants (L/T/P/AR etc)
Interesting to see how this develops. The last project was unsuccessful so we hope this goes through
I was working on MIUI for H815 but was unable to boot:

Spent a long time on this but wasn't skilled enough, looks live you have gotten much further then me.
Happy to be a tester
Awesome! And after it took so many of us before to try and get it to even boot (MIUI request thread) and you beat all of us to it at once ? Did you use patchrom at all or was all of your tinkering through just editing stuff and adding lines and files?
Nevertheless, thanks for your work. If I have some free time I'll let you know on signing up for testing.

I always thought about comparing to the 5x due to the same chipset
Hmm. I think that would better to start work on stock based, instead of aosp. Better functionality, camera quality. And i think its easier than implememt to aosp. What you think guys?
