There is nothing wrong with your bootloader, otherwise it wouldnt boot in twrp either. You probably wiped your system partition. Download any custom rom and gapps and fash them.

I'm no expert but can you boot into TWRP? If so, you should be able to either install a custom rom or download one of the zips from the stock firmware links and install them. Use a computer, download a rom, and transfer to your phone (I've done this with other phones by installing from my SD card so I assume it will work on Motorola phones). Can any experts confirm this ?

Use RSDLite and find the stock rom for your phone and reflash. You'll have to reinstall TWRP etc... afterwards. Just look for the firmware links in the G5+ forum for your phone. Once you have TWRP installed if you made a backup, you can restore. If you cleared everything, you won't be able to flash custom rom's either.
Edit: If you can't access the bootloader this method won't work, I apologise. I've wiped everything multiple times but always have been able to boot into the bootloader from TWRP.
If it's truly bricked, this guy had success. https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/help/moto-g5-plus-hard-bricked-recognized-t3636457

my friend, you just go to fast boot mode and enter twrp through fastboot, do data cleaning, cache / delvik, system, internal memory, then from twrp, reboot Fastboot, after that you can flash rom stock cleanly from miflash tools.

The problem is probably because of ARB, not because the partitions haven't been erased.

That's not enough information. Can you link the ROM you flashed? Where did you come from? Stock firmware and if yes which version?
If you came from stock have you decrypted your data partition? (Twrp - Advanced wipe - format (not wipe) data - confirm with yes.
If possible provide a recovery log.
thanks for your kind reply mate.
rebooted to twrp and installed successfully.
installed this rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/development/rom-pixel-experience-t3995717
Hey!
I installed LineageOs on my Xiaomi Mi A1, everything went okay but when I installed the Gapps, it got stuck on the LineageOs logo. The volume button wasn't working right, yet somehow, I manage to enter TWRP and wipe that OS and restore the backup with the original Android One. But when I boot it, it got stuck on Android logo, unable to enter fastboot, TWRP or hard reset because of the volume button not working.
I don't know what else to do, to be honest...
p.d.: I'm new here, sorry if this is not the right section to ask.
Are you 100% sure that you have chosen right version of GApps? because i never had any issues with GApps causing boot loop. BTW what lineage os version 16 or 17 ?
I never had any luck restoring stock rom backup via TWRP either i have no idea why whenever i restore it will stuck on androidone logo.

I chose Android 10 GApps since I installed LineageOS 17. I thought it was the right version.
So TWRP can't be used for stock rom? I didn't know, maybe that's what got me stuck on Android One logo.
Any idea on how to get out from that loop? ?
Dont worry bootloop is not a problem download pixel experience it include gapps boot ur phone to twrp copy rom into internal or sd card Wipe system , data , cache and install the rom ..
TWRP should backup and restore stock image but i think there is something with this phone which wont let twrp to apply system restore i have done it 10 times and i failed everytime.
Edit: do let me know how it goes:good:

Definitely I'll try Pixel Experience! Seems like a good choice. I still need to figure out how to enter Fastboot or TWRP without the volume button.
try adb cmd if it works if not then u have to boot your device to EDL mode by test point method and then flash stock rom

Adb cmd won't recognize the device, so I'll have to boot it to EDL mode. Is there any guide here? I don't know how to do it.
So I was trying to root my phone (Moto G4) using TWRP and Magisk but then when I tried to reboot it, it didn't work. So I went in and resetted the date (wiped data) and ticked the system data as well.
My phone can still access TWRP recovery mode as well as the bootloader screen. Flash is unlocked.
When I try to reboot it, nothing happens. It says "No OS installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?"
Where do I find ROM for my Moto G4? Or is it forever gone?
Thank you.
i tried mounting in TWRP but it won't let me tick USB one, so I couldn't flash the file on my pc.

This is the latest official build, got it from an XDA thread
G4 and G4Plus use the same software.
You can install it from TWRP (last official release), make sure you mount system first and wipe all the partitions you can.
Later you can flash Magisk.
