S7 Edge AT&T Stuck in boot - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answers

I used this thread to upgrade a few months back. I decided to downgrade back to Marshmallow to upgrade officially OTA.
I used these instructions: https://theunlockr.com/2016/09/10/un...xy-s7-s7-edge/
using this firmware
Now my phone is stuck in a boot loop saying "Recovery booting" up top left in blue.
Did I brick it or is there a way to unfck my phone?
Thanks!

fixed it, just flashed nougat files. Should have done that in the first place phew

can you share those files please?

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 LTE AT&T SM-T337A bootloop Help.

I've scoured the net all day and I cannot find a way to fix my new tablet. I thought I had it on http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/general/link-original-firmware-images-tab-4-7-t2978495 but I got a 404 error. Does anyone have that file?
I had forgotten that you could not do a permanent root on 5.1.1 and used kingo root on it. Now i'm in deep trouble. My new unlocked (once at&t) tablet is boot looped and it has the custom icon, which means once the seller sees that they will know that I tried to root it if they are techy enough. So I must at least get rid of the custom before I can send it off to them for a replacement. (I might be able to blame it on a kid but I don't know how that will fly) I've tried kies, odin and everything else I can find but haven't be able to fix it. So I was hoping that someone here could advise me. I don't care about the info on it, that's replaceable but I really want to know how to fix my tablet. I can get it into recovery mode and download mode but it's stuck on the at&t logo. Can anyone help me? Thanks
From now on I'll leave lollipop alone

I wound up returning mine to the seller....they accepted my explanation and agreed to RMA it. I wont touch this next one, I learned my lesson. Samsung loves to lock the boot loader, I'm lucky it didn't happen to my old note 4 when kingroot unlocked it. It's a shame we cant find or make a good flashable image for odin. Then it would be safe to play. But I know nothing about android except how to use it.

After you fix it. Root with Kingroot only and you will be fine. Then search for triangle away online, you can get it free. Open that up and click to reset counter. That will remove the custom lock that you are seeing. Every time you reboot, you will lose root, just reroot with Kingroot and you will be fine.

Glad to help out. It is safe to root it with Kingroot but after you reboot, root will be lost. Just reroot with Kingroot and you will be rooted again without a problem. Ive been working on a way to maintain root but no luck yet. Just don't replace Kingroot with SuperSU or you will brick it again but at least it can be fixed again if you do brick.
Link please

Not sure how you flashed but sounds like your hardware in the phone is messing up. Try flashing stock firmware in Odin and phone in download mode.

Then I would bet a replacement as something in your hardware is failing. Especially if your getting lines in your screen. Weird it takes 10days. Does it stay messed up after the 10days until you do that again?

Then I make new software about 5 times some times claps good some time wait and make some new next time... It works good and fast 7 to 15 days then again and some heating

Trying to flash marshmallow.

Hi everyone. I have a Galaxy S7 Edge with Verizon service that I'm trying to flash back to its stock marshmallow Android 6.0 firmware. I'm using the latest version of Odin to try and do this. I had a lot of trouble trying to find the USA stock firmware for this phone. Whenever I did find it it had four different files in the download, even though all the guides I was using said it would just be one, the AP. Most of the guides I found we're not very good either. Is there a reputable site where I can find the firmware, and is there a decent guide with instructions? I would do the OEM unlock, and enable USB debugging. Odin would detect the phone just fine. But when I go to flash it it always fails with an authentication error. I haven't tried messing with phones beyond basic usage since the iPhone came out. So I'm a little behind on how this stuff works. What could I be doing wrong? Thank you for your patience.
To flash with Odin u need to put BL+ap+cp+CSC

I did try flashing it with all four. It did not work. I will try again and report back with the exact error message. Thanks for the link.

Try to flash with the same firmware (with now) or higher firmware. As far as I know the verison bootloader is locked so can not downgrade
Is there any way to change the bootloader? I already have nougat on it. I'm trying to go back to marshmallow. The applications I'm trying to use only works in that version. My only other option would be to root it, but I really don't want to do that.

sorry not at the moment. Nobody is working on bootloaders as they have not released the source code.
I finally got it to flash marshmallow by finding a download of the right firmware. I had to delete all my data but it worked. thanks everyone.

Flashing firmware through odin, bootanimation modded. What to do?

Hello Guys,
I was using some roms s8 port, and yesterday i just installed the original fimrware through odin. Everything was ok, except the bootanimation. It keeps showing "S8+" after turn the phone ON. After that, the bootanimation default in samsungs devices.
I think that installing the firmware through odin, everything is erased and back to original. Can anyone help me to back the bootanimation to "s7 edge"?
I need to put this phone on sale this week.
Thanks for everyone that every time helps me.
just type in google
s7 edge boot animation xda
follow the instructions and next time just search...

Thanks for your answer.
I just asked here, cuz I didnt found anything related to this, I just found topics like "how to mod your bootanimation". And the Tutorials to restore the original bootanimation uses ODIN, and I already tried this.
Sorry but your answer doesnt help.

Root Samsung s8.

Hello guys,
Haven't been on the forum since I rooted my s3 years ago. I have now got a redundant s8 which I am looking at stripping right back and rooting with the intention of using it as a portable music player. After having a look round the forum it's not very clea to me what method I use to root my s8 and what Rom to use.
This is my build number:
PPR1.180610.011.G950FXXU5DSHC.
Any suggestions would be helpful
Many thanks

Odin kept getting stuck on setup connection etc. After a bit more research needed newer version of odin and to reinstall my phone drivers on my PC. Managed to get it flashed so just leaving it plugged into my pc for 7 days. Hopefully not having a sim in it for those 7 days will affect it? As I have my sim in my new phone. Thanks again!
