Hie there, i have a nexus 6p which got stuck into bootloop by its own. The bootloader was locked and i didnt even click oem unlocking beforehand. It doesnt go into recovery too as clicking there goes back to bootloop with the google logo. Warranty is void as its 1 yr since i bought the phone. Please help
My Nexus 6P is stuck in a bootloop. I have tried going to the recovery menu and doing a wipe data/factory reset, but that didn't fix the issue.
I want to try reflashing the stock image, but debugging mode is disabled and since it is stuck in a boot loop I cannot find a way to enable it to allow me to flash a new image.
Is there anyway to unlock the bootloader or enable debuggin while the phone is in the bootloader?
Or is there anyway to flash a locked Nexus 6P with a factory stock image?

Nothing you can do for the phone in that state. Did you buy the phone from Google? They have been replacing out of warranty phones recently. Not via Google? Try Huawei but they seem less prone to RMA outside warranty.

No to unlocking. You are limited to sideloading a newer build OTA from recovery mode.

I installed CWM-SuperSU-v0.99.zip using adb on my phone and now my phone won't boot back up! It gets stuck on the loading screen.
What did I do wrong? Do I need to boot into recovery?
Thanks. I'm new.
Please explain exactly what you did. I need more info to help.
have you tried force rebooting it(10-20 second power button press)?

I followed this video to root the phone:
I then decided that I wanted to un-root it. So I fastbooted fastboot oem lock, but decided to unlock it again and go back to the original base band. Now with the phone rooted, I restarted it and now it's just stuck on the Google X loading screen. Help please!
Reboot the phone, holding down power and volume down. It should boot you into the bootloader. Then go to recovery and wipe data. Then reboot.
If that doesn't work you'll have to flash the stock recovery and factory reset from there.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You saved me.
Can you tell me now what I have to do to unroot it? Do I lock bootloader then factory reset, or factory reset then lock bootloader? Is the factory reset how you install the stock OS?
Thanks!
Efrant made a great guide how to go back to stock. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010312
After you complete that you then relock the bootloader if you so choose.
Hey everyone, recently I've bought a nexus 4 that was soft bricked, I can access the fastboot and recovery, I tried flashing using The nexus toolkit to flash but its always stuck at boot loop, I tried using commands to flash , it will loop boot, I tried factory resetting after each flash but nothing helps..I am able to see the phones storage too, any ideas how to get past the loop? Thank you in advance!

Just flash a factory image straight from google. Need to be more specific with errors if you want help. Did the bootloader unlock ok? Was it already unlocked?
Try flashing 4.2.2 image rather than the latest, some hardware issues can prevent the newer firmwares from booting.

I tried flashing 4.4.4 then the first jelly bean, it was already unlocked , im able to access the download mode, fastboot and recovery, like i said I tried 4.4.4 and oldest jb but its still in boot loop, any ideas?
There were no errors at all, using the nexus toolkit or using commands
Lock your boot loader then reboot. Is the padlock gone? If it is unlock the boot loader and retry. If your boot loader will not relock or unlock after relock you have an emmc issue. If it all goes through fine but still won't boot it's also probably a hardware issue but maybe fixable.
My N7 ended up in a boot loop after the 5.1 update. I can get to the bootloader and I can get to recovery. HOWEVER, the bootloader is still locked and the debugging mode is not enabled.
In fastboot, I can send the OEM unlock command, but the N7 screen just blinks and comes right back to the bootloader screen saying that the current status is locked.
I can go to the recovery screen and get to the option to sideload, but when I try to sideload the system file, it always says that the footer is wrong and that the signature verification failed. I've tried several different files from the Android factory images.
I've also tried the Nexus Root Toolkit and the SkipSoft Toolkit and they don't seem to work either.
ANY help would be appreciated.
Welcome to the bricked N7 club. Same thing happened to mine after taking the OTA 5.1 update.
+1 Also the same here Lock state - Locked nothing works, also the recovery mode is not working on mine (think I wiped the device somehow)
Anyone know how to fix the recovery mode also? I cant Flash recovery as the bootloader is locked?

I'm still struggling with this. I've tried the Nexus Root Toolkit v 2.0.5 and it doesn't seem to do anything. I can tell it to unlock the bootloader, but at the top of the screen it just says "unlocking now........" and never unlocks it.
Starting to get really frustrated......
I had been using my phone with no issues for some time (on Nitrogen 7.1) and at dinner I took a picture and then tried to upload it to Facebook. It froze when I tried to do that and ever since, it has bootlooped.
It shows the unlocked bootloader warning and then Google splash screen and that's as far as it gets. I can't get it to boot into TWRP via the volume buttons, but I can get it into the bootloader. It also wont boot into TWRP via the bootloader menu option. I re-flashed TWRP from fastboot but it didn't change anything.
I realize I should be able to factory wipe it with fastboot, but is there any way I can recover my data or better yet get recovery going again?

So I tried to unlock the bootloader of this phone and installed TWRP recovery and I did but then when I opened the phone I found no IMEI for the both SIM cards, anyway I thought it's a simple Rom reinstall problem, so at first it would sometimes boot into Stock recovery and sometime TWRP recovery, when it booted into TWRP Recovery I wiped everything accidentally and now the phone is Romless with a TWRP recovery only. I tried to flash Many custom roms and after flashing it just says no OS and boots into recovery again. the phone is like a rock
In Conclusion:
1. There's no OS
2. Only TWRP recovery
3. I can't flash stock recovery because OEM unlock is not enabled and in order to enable it I have to go to Developer options which I don't even have an OS to do this
4. I need stock Recovery to apply the update.app method
I need anyhelp to get the OS or Rom installed again even if it's custom ROM! I just want it to boot up!
UPDATE: I broke the TWRP recovery too! now it just boots on the Huawei logo for like 0.1 second and restarts and Huawei logo again and it keeps doing this, I can't acess anyhting

Update: Now I fuc*** up the recovery and it only shows the Huawei logo for 0.1 second and then starts again, I feel like there's no hope anymore/
Hello,
Sorry for your phone,
You should use SP flash tool to recover it, you need to download a full ROM for this phone and then flash it to the phone,
You should find the tools via google easily!
Good luck
I think the imei problem will still exist, when you recover the phone, then I may guide you to overcome the imei problem..

BTW if you plug the USB you will get into default emergency recovery,, else you will get into TWRP
