Hello, could anybody test the record feature of the redmi 3s because I notice an issue. If I record in several Apps a sound like a long permanently humm sound, the sound record perfectly for the first couple of seconds (2sec) and after that the sound level lowers down. Even if I use the field recorder app or the in build Miui Audio recorder I notice that the led indicator of the Audio signal lowers. And than the record is very bumpy during a permanently sound like hum or somthing else. Only if I talk the record is very clear and nearly perfect.
Whats this strange level lowering of the recird signal during hum souns.
By the way I need surch records, because I am an audio engineer.
please could anybody test it on miui or cm based roms
Thanks

does anyone face a problem with sound recording ?? when i record i hear back the recorded audio i hear a lotttt of noise , why is this happening i flashed radio and several cooked roms .
please i need someones help
anyone ???
yes, exact same thing here, it's like the mic gain skyrockets to the clouds, I hear an astounding high-pitch noise as if there was a hurrican blowing inside the mic, and this happens even if I record sound in a very quiet room.
On the other side, I use ACR to record all calls, and nothiong like it happens, my voice is clear on the recorded audio...
Audio on the soundrecorder and on the videocamera is simply useless instead.
I tried to video record my son while he was speaking but at playback I could hardly hear his voice. He was about 1 meter apart and I could hear him as if he was 20m away. My voice sounded ok though. I assume that the microphone used for audio recording is the same as the phone mic with higher volume control.
Is everyone experiencing the same?
Also, Ihaven't found any controls to configure audio levels for different circumstances (i.e. phone ringer, speakerphone, speaker during conversation, etc.) Is it necessary to only configure volume when you are in that area (i.e only during conversation or during playback) and not all at once in a special control panel? (I hope you understand the last part as I don't know how to explain better)
I also feel that the playback volume for recorded video is too low (even on max volume). The audio quality is also not as good as I would hope. I have yet to test playback on a PC though.
Unfortunately anything related to Desire HD sound is low at the bottom line no matter recording or speaker it is.
agreed that recording volume is too low. But one thing i did find is that when you hold your phone to record, the natural position where your right hand holds the phone actually covers the microphone (well at least for me). So make sure your hand isnt covering that and it might improve sound a little.
But when i playback a recording on my laptop it sounds ok when i max the volume.. definitely audible.
Im also getting this low mic problem, made sure i was not covering mic, still low volume. Even took the case off, still no joy, cant believe they did not test this before launch
Please HTC sort this out
After playing back recorded videos on my laptop, i'd agree with SupremeBeaver that the volume is ok. The sound quality seems much better too, so i'm not too fussed now
When ever i record a video from any app (Snapchat, Instagram, etc) just when i record in general, what will happen is everything will be nice and crystal clear then it suddenly the mic stop and mutes for a second and drops the quality of the sound drastically everything looks good in video but it sounds terrible and stays like that until i end the video, and if i make a new video the same process happen again anyone ever have this problem or know a way around it? maybe its a noise cancelling feature? i dont know
I think I have defective top mic on my D801.
When I use Hangouts the volume of the mic is set too maximum and picks all the sound around me. Does anyone else have this problem?
I haven't been able to find anyone.
And when recording video the sound is horrible. I can turn down the mic w/Dorimanx kernel but then I can't record any video w/sound. All I get is static. I'm on Cloudy g2. I've tried other roms but have had the same problem.
Thanks.
I have been using zenfone max pro m1(ZB601KL) for 2 months. When I try to record some audio or music in my device through earphone , the sound output is very distorted and sound seems to have very much treble and no bass. The quality is too low as we feel like recording in old mobile phones. I have tried boat 225 and apple wired earphones. The same output . I have used both these earphones in my zenfone 5(2014 released) and it works perfect. Issue is causing problems while making both general and internet calls. I cannot find any such issue reported about this phone on the internet since now. My inbuilt phone mic is working fine. Anyone who knows about this issue please help me. Thanks for any help....
Same problem here
Other party cannot hear me properly, I have to shout to let them hear a litle bit. I haven't found a single answer regarding this issue anywhere
