Can someone make a flashable zip with B19's MODEM please?
Apparently it gives better signal.
thanks

Yes please!
Can this work for the G model too?
I have horrible signal compared to 6.0 version.
Anyone?
I wonder what is the current for A2017U ?
I have seen: 2.0.c1.9-00090-M8996FAAAANAZM & 2.0.c1.9-00095-M8996FAAAANAZM
Mine is 2.0.c1.9-00090-M8996FAAAANAZM-1

Has anyone found the 7.1.1 (00095) flashable Baseband yet?
I had this modem once. I only have 1 modem that I know of in a flashback zip.
I have not flashed since I factory reset my phone. 7.1.1 was not working for me.
I don't think I can attach it here, sorry.

A2017U_N_Modem.zip
If you search the above you'll find a zip by Unjustified Dev
Not sure if it's the correct 1 or not. If it is let me know as I have it I just have not flashed it again.

Flashed it anyway. It's the 00090 modem. Hopefully it works on my phone cause I'm not running nougat anymore.

These are A2017U only, don't try flash on other variants.

Any improvements in this one? Is it worth flashing?
wait i'm confuse between this ,kies method, 138 MB tmobile OTA (i'm rooted so no go ) update and the 1.6GB firmware on sammobile . I'm running rooted ANJ7 baseband version so which path should i take to upgrade ? which of these do i get to keep my data and phone setting ?
If you flash the smaller file OP posted you will not lose your files. If you flash the full 1.6 GB version, it will essentially put your phone back to stock, wiping all your data in the process. Which is good if you want a clean start, but not so much if you only want to update your baseband and modem (and firmware). Personally, I flash the full 1.6 version for a clean start when an update is released, then restore my apps with Titanium backup. But it's up to you, honestly.
Flashed using Mobile Odin.

I was able to flash my baseband/modem from my extracted firmware, modem.bin using Odin v3.09,
and
ur bootloader also using Odin v3.09,
just wanted to let u know it worked just fine,
thanks for the bootloader file... saved me some time instead of doing the firmware... :good:
Very cool.
I may go ahead and flash the bootloader.
Hadn't yet cause on the tmobile s4 it was important to never update the bootloader.
Mine still doesn't have knox.
Running latest cm nightlies.
And using the nh7 modem.
---------- Post added at 07:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:59 PM ----------
And the op's trick is how you get the latest modem/baseband without letting them do things to your bootloader.

I always update my modem/baseband.
Samsung/tmobile are trying to make reception better with each release, and all.
I've also heard people say if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Knowing how to update your modem/baseband without updating your bootloader is a good skill either way.

My GF needs a updated (stable) VZ TW rom for her S5. I don't remember how to flash a stock VZ ROM to my girlfriend's S5 using twrp without locking the bootloader? Any help would be great. Thanks. And any suggestions on stock TW ROMs?
Anybody?

Since the lock info is almost completely contained in Qfuses on the SoC, it should work just fine to put a normal verizon rom on it...I don't know why you wouldn't just use an AOSP rom though...
Thanks. It is for my GF....she's needs the stability. And on CM ROMs the GPS doesn't work. Maybe I can convince her to try something different though. Ha.

It flashes recovery, though--make sure you don't do that if you don't want it.
Thanks. Will give it a try tonight
Nope didn't boot. Gave it about 13min
I had to flash TWRP in Odin to restore.... (A scary couple of minutes. Lol)
You really can't brick these things. Just create an unbrick image (there's a thread about somewhere around here) and put it on an sdcard. I'm serious--I absolutely hosed my phone (no bootloader) and that brought it right back.
Of course, I'm not issuing a _challenge_

Thanks...I'm using twrp, I was using Phil's. But I'll don't remember. When I get back into town I'll try again. Is there an update to twrp maybe? I would rather use a cm ROM but I could never get the GPS to pick up satellites.
Firstly let me say I have spent the last 3 days trying to figure out how to get any custom rom to work with wifi and network working but i have only been able to get one or the other working at any one time.
I have reverted back to stock using the tool found on here however my wifi still wont work and flashing the Indian or European or american versions make it work but make networking not work. So i guess I need the Australian Modem files
I did do a backup with TWRP however i checked that it was stored on the internal and not external card by default which i totally missed and since then wiped that internal partition.
Does anyone know or have the Australian Moto X style Modem? I really need help.
I have it in a zip file. I'll upload shortly and give you the link.

Hello guys! I've followed the simple root tutorial found on XDA and i've managed to root my S5 with no problem (i don't have any knowledge about this stuff cause i am a newbie,sorry...). After that ,i've successfully flashed TWRP Recovery and tried several ROM's but every one of them failed (bootloop on RR, corrupted zip on Note 7 ROM etc),anyway,it was late and the next day i needed my phone so i installed the Official Stock S5 ROM (6.0.1) found on XDA also (flashed with Odin). The problem is, i can't root it anymore. When i try to do the exact same thing i did with auto-root and Odin everything works except SuperSU ("There is no SU binary installed and SuperSU cannot install it"). I've tried everything! And when i say everything , i mean it. Even KingRoot, wipping everything, trying to root again, the advices found on this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/su-binary-installed-supersu-install-t1928764 and nothing works..if anyone can point me some directions , give some advices, i would be very happy! Thank you guys! I'm willing to try anything.

Been looking for a twrp flash for 6.0 radios for xt1575. Anyone have a clue where I could find one. Yes I have looked.
I think maybe here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/general/xt1575-72-nougat-7-0-stock-official-t3671995
I'm trying to give this a shot because I unlocked and flashed a new phone that was 6.0 stock directly to a 7.1.2 backup and I jacked up my modem and my SIM card is not being detected...
I'll let you know if I find anything that works...

I read the thread. Too Sketchy... I upgraded to stock nougat on xt1575 on verizon. Bad idea. I was using LOS14.1 on 6.0 modems it was awesome and hashbang has made a LOS14.1 for 7.0 modems unofficial. The rom is good but volte is suspect and mms works from time to time. My real big issue with stock nougat was the notification sounds. They were too low even when the volume was at max.
Damn..
Is there no going back with the modem if you upgrade to N? Because I did this with my phone as well (flashed the latest blur)
Can't fastboot back or flash the modem from that?
