Hi guys,
I have a goodix sensor in my Redmi 4 Prime, and I'm running offiicial miui global 8.2.1.0. I have tried out some apps which have fingerprint login options, such as Paypal, but I can't use this feature, because it gives an error. The app identifies my fingerprint, but can't set it as a login method, so logging in with it is impossible. Could someone else (with goodix sensor) please confirm this issue? If you know a way to eliminate this issue, let me know please, thanks!
PS: This problem was also present for me in previous versions, namely 8.1.2.0.

Hello! I have a Samsung A500M (A5 2015 Duos) running Stock Android 6.0.1 with root, BusyBox, and Xposed.
As you may know, my cellphone does not have gyroscope, so I installed the VirtualSensor module for Xposed (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpos...scope-t3424555), and in the GUI appears the Gryo values, but when I enter on any VR app that need gyro, it just doesn't work. Also, I tried GyroEmu (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpos...meter-t3424314), but none of this appear to work. I think maybe the problem is that the Android's Sensor Manager is not receiving the VirtualSensor's data, but it is just a theory.
I already posted this on XDA-Assist, bot there is no sign of response.
Can someone help me with this issue please?

Hi. The virtual sensor does not work on my samsung galaxy a5 SM-A500FU device either. I've rooted it with TWRP and installed XPOSED framework with the latest version (1.41) of Virtual Sensor. The app shows gyro values but none of the other apps (including cardboard games and the cardboard app itself) receive any gyro information. The device has both accelerator and magnetic field sensors. Any help will be much appreciated.
Hello, yesterday i got update to latest firmware version WW_13.20.10.152_20161222 on my zenfone 3 (ZE520KL) and until today I got an issue about rotating screen (it's working fine before update in this firmware). My phone can't see on landscape view..although I turn on auto rotate, the screen can't see on landscape in some app (app that support landscape view, youtube, camera, wa, line and etc.). I just try all suggestions on forum like, reboot phone, restart, clear camera cache on app setting, clear/wipe cache partitions...and I also try factory reset. But all this act. Still can't solve my problem . Please help me, are all of you got this G-Sensor issue too? and tell to me that it's not hardware problem..it's bug on latest firmware. Pls. Thnks
*nb: result when testing using SMMI via calc. menu .12345+= ... Z- axis on G Sensor is not working, but all axis work fine
Hi, I've been having the same problem as you. I have also updated my Zenfone 3 to the latest version recently, and in the meantime I'll be using an app called Rotation Control. It doesn't automatically rotate, but at least I'm able to choose which mode (portrait/landscape) to use.
Hopefully Asus will send a patch for this soon

Hi
do you mean it's not due to the latest firmware ?
Is it an hardware issue ?
Thanks
Same problem here...
Hello everyone! I've been using AEX 5.7 Oreo rom until now with no problems so far, I consider it the best Oreo for my X720. But recently I decided to test some Pie roms just out of curiosity, to see the development status, and in all of them (AEX 6.2, AICP 14, Lineage 16...) I found a nasty reiterative bug when I activate lockscreen pincode, doesn't matter if fingerprint is also active or not: after several reboots I'm not able to enter the system until I delete "locksettings.db". It seems that my pin code is correctly recognized, but after a black screen I get stuck in lockscreen again and again forever.
I've search the web for a fix and I haven't found any information related, it's so frustrating. Am I the only one in the planet with this problem???
I have same problem with aicp
By the way, I finally managed to solve this anoyance, a wheather widget that I used to use was to blame. There are lots of these available, so I simply got rid of it.
Same here (LineageOs 16, AOSIP Pie)
Hello fellow noob lineageOS user here.
I have a Samsung Note 4 N910G and needing help in regards to fixing the fingerprint scanner as its not being detected at all/ not scanning properly but does work (semi) when trying to add a fingerprint into the phone itself after the first scan out of 8 and doesnt respond after that and its running LineageOS 18.1 and was working prior to the OS upgrade from Android v6.0.1 if anyone can provide me a possible fix it would be much appreciated
