Hi, Everyone!
Today I discovered Google Assistant alive and well on my wife's Sprint Galaxy Note Edge (6.0.1 / security patch level February 1, 2017 / build number MMB29M.N915PVPS4DQB3 / kernel version 3.10.40-8401399 / stock - no root). I just held down the home button, and its initial screens popped up.
Google Assistant also went live today on my Google Nexus 5 (also running Marshmallow 6.0.1). Both these phones now join our Google Home in being Google assisted. Nice!
All I need now is for it to start working on my Nexus 9 and Nexus Player.

i have note 4 , 5 and a clone note 3 where i use same gmail account to connect to play store for all , lately i realized after getting a Gear VR that a lot of the apps that i can download for the note 5 and other friends who have note 4 can download will not show for me on my note 4 device (stock rom) . at first i thought it was an OS problem but then i did the marshmallow upgrade and the problem persisted .
i finally attempted to use the html browser version to search the missing apps where they refused to install stating they are not designed for my Alps device , i believe the Alps device is the code name of the clone note 3 phone running Kitkat version of android , so i thought maybe last logged in device get stuck on store some how , so i managed to clear play store data and log in again with my note 4 but still no change , i even did a factory reset but it didn't help .
so any shared thoughts about it ?
P.S i keep the note 4 for the gear vr trying not to abuse my note 5 much , plus that i can switch batteries for it unlike note 5 that has to be wired to the charger so sticking to note 5 won't work , also i should dodge solutions that require root because rooting stock roms stopped my gear vr from working every time i did it (freeze at start screen)
thanks in advance !

I never had an issue with my LG V20 or G6 but only with the Samsung S7, Note 7 or S8
Does Samsung use their own Bluetooth api or something that causes this?
Hope this isn't so! Even tho I just got rid of my v20 which would at least show the song data over Bluetooth...I just hated that phone. I'll be back in my car so I'll post my results. I have a 2014 Grand Cherokee with unconnect 8.4 so hopefully it shows the data
I am having the same problem. I also came from a V20, where I had no issues with metadata on my head unit being displayed. My S8 only shows the first track's data that I play. When I change tracks, the track info remains unchanged. Very frustrating
Mazda 3 owner here. The OnePlus 5 (which also has bluetooth 5.0) transferred metadata without a glitch. My Pixel, Nexus 5x, Nexus 5 and multiple other devices that have passed through my hands, none of them had a problem. Galaxy S8 won't send metadata.
On my 2012 Ford song names artists and albums are shown fine. Playtime is ok but isn't reset when jumping back in the song.
Had that problem with the op3t too though...
I am having the same issue with a 2014 Civic: no metadata, but music plays fine, contacts fine too

I haven't seen it pushed to my phone yet.
Just saw it on Samsung's site.
Yeah I don't have it available on my phone yet either.

Hello,
I recently bought a Nokia 6 (2017) to my mother. However, phone is keep crashing and freezing while being not used. When this happens back and overview buttons are light up kept it like that. I can only start phone again by pushing power and volume + buttons simultaneously.
Phone is updated Oreo 8.1 with March security update and there are only whatsapp and instagram installed other than the regular apps.
I tried hard ressetting the phone vut it didn’t work either.
Does anyone have this problem? Or anyone knows how to fix it?
Thanks.

Sorry that’s my bad. It’s a 2017 model, I know the model for sure because it has a SD430.
Hi guys. I am in love with LineageOS 16! I have been updating regularly, and when I get one (every other update) that the battery doesn't drain rapidly, the only other issue I face is to successfully SEND A MULTIMEDIA SMS/TEXT (with picture) I have to disable wifi… Is there any other trick I should know? or is there something that can be addressed in the next Update?
