In my battery stats it is shown a process 99004. If i am not wrong It is a loss process from an app that i had uninstall in the past. I erase de cache and it is still eating battery and running in the background. I discovered it a month ago. Is there a way to remove this process without factory reseting de phone?
Thanks in advance!

Just upgrade my 16g Nexus 7 to CM10.1 M2. After restart everything is fine but the device keeps on showing "upgrading" on every bounce as if the dalvik cache is getting cleared.
It only takes a few seconds but am noticing that SU shows messages about apps granted root...
Also I noticed my background will from time to time reset to default and my notification icons in status bar don't always show.
Tried to uninstall ti backup, wipe the cache again to no avail.
Upgraded to the latest nightly... Still no luck.
Trying to avoid having to do a full wipe. Any ideas?

Wipe and reflash.
Whenever flashers have odd things happen, it is a common mindset to wipe and reflash. Just be sure you wipe system and factory reset before flashing.
Just seems to be just so much work for what this actually do... Device otherwise works fine.
Trying a different supersu package... Will probably give it a few more days before doing anything since its just so minor...
Hi all, this is my first post after reading a lot.
I post here because i cannot in "Android Development" section (<10 posts). Sorry.
I've flashed "N7100XXUEML6 PreRooted, DeOdexed, Zipaligned & KNOX Free" following correct procedure w. full wipe and almost everything works fine exept issue below.
From Philz Recovery i wiped to install a new ROM
wipe cache
From Advanced wipe dalvik
then i've installed the ROM w/o reboot
with Dr. Ketan V6 i rooted , deKnoxed rom, put tweak and then reboot.
With Titanium i've installed again all app.s missed from google restore. Only app.s w/o. data.
Issue: When the phone is apparently in deep sleep w. black screen face up, it often but randomly in time awake by itself and soon after it switch off again.
I'm very upset of this because it drain battery a lot and so far i cannot get to the end of the day w/o. charging it again.
Do anyone knows how to solve?
You can install betterbatterystats or wakelock detector app to investigate the reason.

I try but doesn't work.
It shows only the log starting from when you switch manually the screen on ....

Wakelock detector gives stats starting from the last reboot. Sounds like something is amiss. Try wiping cache & data from Application Manager in Settings.
Phones do not wake up for no reason, guaranteed something is to blame, either your own installed app or a system app like Google+ etc. Make sure location is turned off, wifi always scanning is disabled. There are so many tools to track this stuff down, you MUST persevere! Good luck
i really don't know why but after flashing this sound mod it's solved.
I start the phnoe today 7 and so far battery is on 92%
Edit 26 Jan: Could it be battery stats to be deleted?
Edit 2 Feb: yes it can. I deleted batterystats.bin from system\data and ... magic! ... solved. Now my battery let the cell on for 2,5 days using normally.
Since Lollipop 5.1, Android optimize the apps at every reboot (359 apps), it takes around 20 minutes each time. My phone is encrypted and it does that with or without SD card. Did anyone notice a similar behavior?
1) Tried to remove SD
2) Tried to clear Dalvik
No changes.

On my phone a window shows up on a reboot that Android is optimizing apps, but it takes 3 sec. Your seems like you have just upgraded Android OS and it prepares apps for that. It could be that update didn't really go well. I have never encrypted my phone, so that could be something... If nothing helps, factory reset could work, but make sure that your sd card is decrypted before reset(if you have it encrypted too)
Same here, thought that xposed is the cause but it seems that other have this issue without root.

The issue with encryption is that the recovery cannot access the data partition and so cannot fix file permissions which could be an explanation for the issue.
Though rarely it only optimize 1 app usually it's all of them...
Slightly different (and worse) here, phone encrypted and everytime I reboot it hangs, reboots itself and then optimizes each and every app.. rebooting has become an agony
I had root in 5.0.2 then went to 5.1.1 but had to use flashtool as the over the air update kept failing (because I had root? I undid root and still had the same problem).
So when 5.1.1 loaded I had the same issue you are having, and I found I couldn't get root so I flashed it again 5.1.1, still the apps optimising every boot.
So flashed it to 5.0.2 again, took root again. Rebooted and the apps still had to optimise again (far less apps though, like 170 compared to 350 on 5.1.1).
Do I flashed it back to 5.1.1 and now it seems to all work fine.
No idea what the issue was.
BTW I used the UK firmware for both versions.

I already have this issue once. I don't reboot often, but I doesn't happen at each reboot...

Actually this is the same as me, tries to boot ~2 min then reboot and optimize. I will try to reflash the zip pre-rooted.
I have had the same. I was on 5.0.2 with root. Updated to 5.1.1 with flashtool (as OTA no possible due to root). Had extensive battery drain and flashed back to 5.0.2 and then this boot problem. Only when I did a factory reset everything was fine again. I suppose clearing the cache/dalvik cache is not sufficient. Better to save all apps and data (Titanium backup for example), reset the phone and apply the update. Root with pre-rooted 5.1.1, then apply your backup ...

That's what I did, solved the problem.
I've had this problem for quite a while. my phone is stock, unrooted. I have encryption enabled (required to get work email through Mobile Iron). I observe that this issue (double boot w/ optimize apps) starts after a software update. the only way I have resolved this is by wiping the phone completely and rebuilding my apps and customizations which is quite time-consuming. is there anyway to resolve this without wiping? And for the 1st time, the issue came up just last week but this time there was no software update that preceeded it. is this really just a fact of life when using Android with encryption enabled or is this just an Xperia-specific issue?
I have the same issue on my work issues Xperia Z3. 20 minutes per reboot. It's brutal. Not a good look for Android.
My op2 was at 48% before I went to sleep.
Woke up to find that the battery was completely drain and off!
Also this: 6 hours for 78%!?
Is this a software issue?? Any ideas?
It's not a software issue. Send it to service centre
Right now, in three minutes it went from 70% to 67%!
In 3 minutes! Is that normal??
Its not a hardware issue. Your stats are reporting that the screen is on all the time even when its not. Make sure you're updated to the latest OxygenOS 2.1.1 and then perform a full factory reset and restart everything from scratch, dont even do a restore from google backup after that. See how it all goes.
I'd be a bit lost if I don't backup from Google...
Nevertheless, I'll try doing all that.

If even a full factory reset doesn't solve the problem, then install BetterBatteryStats (Root required to do what you need to do to check for wakelocks) then leave the phone running for 30mins or so. Then open the app and see what app is going rogue. Once you narrow down which app(s) is causing the problem, the easiest solution would be the uninstall it. If you really need that app though, see if there is a setting to potentially keep it from waking up the phone.
quick solution to this:
factory reset, and wipe cache partitions. Should fix it.

If installing a new rom, then factory reset should precede

It shouldn't matter regardless, even if you were to do it twice, both before and after. The factory reset itself also wipes those caches in addition to your internal storage.
Hello everybody
I saw my phome is laggy and go setting/developrr options and tick show cpu usage i see kulnotify use my 50% cpu what is this? It is a virus? Please help
It's a kingroot virus.it install a virus in system partition and it cannot be deleted. I reflash my firmware and i format data. Factory reset cannot fix this.
So no chance to use kingroot without having kulnotify? ...or did you re-installed kingroot after the reflash?
Any other chance to get rid off kulnotify beside a reflash?
