What all g530t ROMs are there?! - Galaxy Grand Prime Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Well, I have a SM G530T (gprimeltetmo) and the only ROM I can seem to find is LineageOS... I got that installed and everything.... I guess my question is, is it posibble to use a ROM for G530H/F?

There's quite a few different ROM's for the 530T
I have the same phone and after lots of searching was able to find the different ROM's. There's Lineage 12.1, 13, and 14.1, Resurrection Remix ROM, ViperOS ROM, and Gwiz ROM. Those are the only one's I was able to find but there very well may be more. I found them here on XDA. I don't have any links tho, so you'll have to just search for them here bro.

You're liable to brick the phone doing using a different variant of ROM.. I flashed supersu and a recovery for a 530H and it worked, but I don't think I'd use a ROM for another variant.

Blisspop rom For Lenovo Vibe p1m

Please tell me the correct blisspop rom / link for Lenovo Vibe P1m mobile.
And if anyone knows tell me for a new android phone say some local brand , which bliss rom can be downloaded to flash ? Is there any spec for downloading ROM.
One more thing in bliss website under official builds there are many folders say bullhead, lux, falcon . Do u know what these folders mean ? I am a newbie so y asking. I need to understand all these.....
Are you so desperate in Blisspop ROM? If no, then try installing MiUI 8 coz after I flashed CM 12.1, I couldn't on hotspot coz the option just vanished. So I flashed back to original stock ROM. But MiUI is working perfectly and flawlessly. But it too have some backlogs(not bugs but backlogs).

Just flash global Dev. ROM from miui site, then once you in lolipop firmware, install twrp & flash the nougat rom ( no need fastboot, it's more difficult )

I don't think redmi 2 prime variant will work on this device as this device has only 1 gb ram where as prime has 2gb ram
Correct me if I am wrong..
Im using the same device 2014818 1gb variant.
It is wt88047.
U can use custom roms on KitKat firmware without any problems.(no volte)
Dont flash miui Lp coz soon when u switch to kitkat again from lp miui u will face sim card switch issue due to changed baseband. And miui lp will be slow on 1gb ram variant. But in kitkat firmware , linagge os and other 6.0.1, 7.1.2 ROMs will work.

1.For MM Stable Nx Rom by Anderson is stable and Tesla Os MM Stable.
2.Bootloader ( Firmware) There Are 2 Firmwares Available One is of Kikat and lollipop (Lp Firmware for volte ) they both are 50 mb. They can be flashed in twrp.
If ur using 2gb prime phone then flash lp firmware. Get it from xda threads.
Then flash a custom rom or miui lp and get volte function.
3. Manually set to 4g network from dialing *#*#4636#*#*
Enter into phone information and select lte , it won't go back to 3g or 2g then.
If u want the firmware links PM me.
4. Once u flash lp firmware u won't be able to work on miui kitkat. So when u flash miui lollipop the phone performance will be so slow due to 1gb ram..it isnt enough for background apps to run. So if u want to revert and go back to miui KitKat just make a backup of miui kitkat (System, boot , firmware ,Efs <- (efs is important coz it contains imei number which gets sim working) before flashing lp firmware. So u can restore easily from twrp.

Yes all custom roms doesn't provide gapps...install arm pico gapps
Mokee rom i tried few months later, it had battery draining issue.
Root access is already available in developer options no need of supersu.
Im having the same device as u have. Don't flash custom kernels it has overclocked cpus nd gpu and doesn't provide good multitasking.

Best custom rom for LG G6?

Hello,
I want to install a custom rom on my G6 device. Which one is the best in your eyes? Could you also list the bugs, which you know please.
I've read several threads. They have too much pages and I think there is no custom rom with no bugs...?
Thanks for your help.

Currently using Resurrection Remix (though not the latest one) for the last 3 months.
Everything is fine except for these "bugs":
Microphone is s**t quality in calls.
Sometimes the device will freeze for a second or three after being unlocked.
5GHz hotspot is not working.
Otherwise, it's pretty good.
What about safety issues on custom roms?
Don't you have any fears that some backdoors are being added?
thx!
Most custom roms are opensource. Just look at the code yourself. If you want to be even more on the safe side, compile it yourself.

I recommend AOSPExtended, or Resurrection Remix (if you have h870) if you don't need voLTE, I'm stuck with Verizon and need voLTE in order to send/receive texts and calls, there is currently no way to get voLTE in AOSP roms (AFAIK), so I'm stuck with stock based ROMs, ended up just staying stock and waiting for voLTE fix & RR for US997 varient, as for NO bugs, doubt it, all custom ROMs have some issue (even if they are basically unnoticeable), I have yet to find one that has voLTE working on Oreo.

Downgrade from Oreo rom(AOSP) to Nougat rom(AOSP) or even to Marshmallow (Non MIUI)

Hi there, before I'm executing my device to downgrade rom version, do I need to flash lowest firmware version first?
If yes, then can you provide me firmware link ? I've been searching over miui forum or xda but still didn't find any clue, most of solution is flash new Miui rom from Fastboot, I know that will working but its shame to start from zero again.
I know in other device like Mi4c/Mi5 when you switch from 7.x/8.x roms to 5.1/6.0 version you must flash lollipop firmware to make everything like signal/wifi/backlight working.
Why I need to downgrade it? Because some of my daily usage app doesn't support Oreo API so its very unstable.

Starting from zero is the best thing to do while switching Android version.

did you specifically choose a rom for j500fn (j5nlte)? ive had 3 of the 2015 j5's and ive never had an issue except for the error 7....
i cant find this serenity rom for 2015 j5 (nvm found it) ... but i can see that its based on 7.1.1 Touchwiz but number one requirement is
Code:
1. You should have 6.0.1 based firmware
, make sure you flash the bootloader and modem from
HTML:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j5/how-to/6-0-1-5-1-1-bootloader-modem-j500xx-t3566801
for 6.0.1.. and if you are going to use any roms after 7..0 then flash back the nougat bootloader and modem.... though i dont understand why "its just not what i want now"... youre just going from one touchwiz rom to the other... you coulda just installed a custom kernel and root and customize to your hearts content, on a newer android version

serenity is apparently a port based on j5 2016 7.1.1 touchwiz but for some reason requires old BL and MODEM.. but the rest is correct, and md5 can be skipped by ticking the box before flashing
