Volte is not wotking - Moto G4 Plus Questions & Answers

Actually i rooted my phone, i tried to remove The Device is HD Capable ,so i flash zip for remove it. after it volte option is showing in settings ,but calls is not going in jio and volte symbol not showing in statusbar .please help me to resolve .

If there is a zip which can revert this action (See it where you downloaded it from) then flash it or just dirty flash your ROM. I guess the com.codeauro****ims has been disabled.

If a clean flash is fine, it ideally would've resolved everything. If it's Jio, I hope you have it in slot 1 and have Enhanced LTE mode enabled under Cellular networks.
Apart from this, I don't know how to help you.

Unless you give more details, no one can help. I need to know is the full procedure you followed, which SIM you using, which slot, SIM setting you're using, etc. As much as possible.
FYI Volte has got nothing to do with Internal Storage - I don't know why you did that.

Go to the respective ROM thread and read the OP. If you don't understand the difference between dirty and clean flashing, you shouldn't be playing with your device.

Good. When in doubt and need something to be reliable, flash stock. Then once you figure it out, you can always come back to custom ROMs

howto install: copy Update_Deodex_Root_S5830XWKPN_Signed.zip to ur microsd card, and just flash via default recovery.
howto install this and still got latest cfroot b80 kernel support:
1- flash my Update_Deodex_Root_S5830XWKPN_Signed.zip zip package via default recovery.
2- flash CF-Root-S5830-v3.7-b78_recovery.zip via default recovery.
3- flash CF-Root-S5830-v3.7-b80_boot.zip via cwm.
issue: doesnt work if u flash this via cwm. see above.

Lenovo K4 note volte in s219 build

Hey everyone. After rooting s219, by changing some lines in build prop we can see volte feature in network settings.
But no volte symbol in status bar
Paste these lines in build prop. I can't see volte symbol may be due Vodafone. Those who has jio please let me know if it works in s219 with root.

So by adding these line you don't have volte enable option in network setting. ? or it just changes from 4g to H+ when calling?
I have attached 3 more files which are extracted from s208 ota, add them in system/bin/ and give permissions like rwxr-xr-x with ex file explorer. these files were missing in s219 update. i am not sure about the permissions. sad part is that i am not getting jio sim for testing. that's why i need your helps.

Oh, not had this problem, probably add those files and see if you can make calls and restart phone. because i thought only editing build prop will enable volte. seems those files also needed.
I added them along with changing build prop lines. and i was able to make call too.

can you try this apn settings once?
Volte feature in k4 note does not have to do anything in system partition. Its relevent files and settings are somewhere in data or some other partition.
I am saying this because I am using s208 build which supports volte but if I wipe data and internal storage, volte stops working. So, it has to do something with partition other than system.

[TOOL] Password/pin/pattern removal tool flashable in TWRP

Hi, I'm a lazy bastard, and I also rock a number of ROMs. It's such a pain to remember my previous pattern lock if I want to restore a TWRP backup from a different ROM. I found this easy method to get rid of security.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-4/themes/tool-remove-lockscreen-password-pin-t3692411
When you are ready to use it, just restore your ROM backup in TWRP; Flash this Unlock_PIN_PW.zip; When your phone boots up you should have no pesky security problems.
Works good?

You can also just delete all gatekeeper.* and locksettings.* files under /data/system after restoring the backup.
Under 8.X ROMs there is just a locksettings.db file, if I'm right.

Hi, I'm a lazy bastard, and I also rock a number of ROMs. It's such a pain to remember my previous pattern lock if I want to restore a TWRP backup from a different ROM. So I made a flashable zip that automates the process of deleting the five /data/system files associated with security after I restore a ROM.
Please be aware that this may not work if you have encrypted /data. If any brave soul wants to test it, let me know.
So, directions are:
Download Unlock_PIN_PW.zip from here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3gcDbDvV4MkWXRHTUswY3JSYnc
Place it in your /sdcard or otg for safe keeping (you never know when you might need it)

missing emojis after upgrade to android 10

Tested up until 10.3.7
I downloaded the full update and flashed it as a local upgrade. Then I did something stupid and had to start from scratch again. Followed a guide on here perfectly and had them from the start (9-10).
This was a common issue for people with the TMO OP6T trying to update to Android 10. I don't remember exactly what was said but if you search the forums you will find a better answer. Something about an added partition. Anyways the one fix i found was a magisk module for emojis that fixed it. I can't remember what it was called as I have reverted back to beta 17 due to too many issues. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Worked for me too: OP6, 10.3.0.
I have a OnePlus 6t I sold my friend..with root and flashing thru magisk isn't working. I'm gonna reinstall the Android 10 update again ,twrp, magisk. And run the file inside magisk manager again. I updated my twrp to newest version since the 32.32 was giving me errors... When I wipe before flashing ..what should I flash system n cache?
