Hi.
hear good things about hullomail but wondered if there was another app that works on t mobile that doesn't require the clips to be sent to an email address.
thanks

I don't think hullo HAS to go to email... I think it's an option to.
You are indeed correct.
Works pretty well but i'm not getting notifications of new voicemails through the app which makes it useless. I need to go into the app and then refresh to see if i have a voicemail.
Had a look on their FAQs / support and can't see that I'm doing anything wrong!
Anyone got the app giving notifications and if so how?!
Thanks
T-Mobile actually made their own App for Visual Voicemail but only in the states.
I wonder if it could be patched to work in the UK?...
I recently just flashed Cyanogen and was shocked to see no voicemail app installed. I searched around and saw google voice stuff but when I tried to set it up it wouldn't work. Can someone help me please?
I believe there should be a flashable zip or the like with all the google apps.
Sent from my Epic 4g running Nebula Rom
I already flashed Google Apps, and there isn't any voicemail app included in the package.
There isn't an AOSP app for voicemail [besides I guess Google Voice]
Darn, I guess I'll have to pick up my phone from now on.

I believe you can just install sprint voicemail.
Sorry, I'm a noob. I tried searching for the apk in a couple roms, but had no luck. Which rom and where is it?

I suggest Google Voice. It is much better than sprint vvm.
Has anyone ever figured out to get rid of the phantom voicemail notification on cyanogen?

Hit clear under notifications to clear it. Not a permanent solution but it gets rid of it until reboot/tower switch.

Maybe every one doesn't want voice to text why else is it better

There's no voicemail app, because we had this thing back before smartphones, where you called a number, usually your own, and would get to a audio-prompt voicemail system...
I know, archaic, but most of the world still uses it.

Dowload SPC (free from the market) and blacklist 9016. Works like a champ.
I posted a flashable zip for Sprint VVM a while back which works fine on cm6.x. I use GV for my business line and Sprint VVM for my personal line on the same phone.
Sprint's VVM works just fine on CM6 for me-- no "phantom" VM notifications or anything. You do get text messages from 9016, but I configured Super Private Conversations to blacklist it awhile back and since then I've completely forgotten that was ever an issue.
That's so weird... I just had this problem this morning... after a little browsing, I found the APK for sprints visual voicemail. Simply install it from email and there you go! I'm running cm6 and the sprint vvm is working perfectly. I would definitely suggest that!

I think you guys are misunderstanding. When I hit the voicemail icon on the dialer, it dials my voicemail....... I want it to go to my visual voicemail like on the iphone
Do you have the visual voicemail app installed?

Visual voicemail on android is a separate app like we've said...it's not like the iPhone. Holding 1 will still call voicemail as usual, even with the app installed.

Okay i understand. I thought it was all integrated like on the iphone. what a bummer. I'd like to see if there is a way to alter the action of that voicemail button to automatically open the visual voicemail app

I'm thinking about moving to the 935U ROM for the sake of faster updates and removing some bloatware.
I do use Wi-Fi Calling, so I was wondering if anyone had setup the app successfully with the 935U ROM?
I also use the Sprint voicemail app - and i did find that the older apk works, just wondering if you there's been any compatibility issues?
Thanks

When I was using this firmware, wifi calling was built into the phone app. I couldn't get voicemail to work though. I also couldn't get the Kids mode app working.

I'm using the Wi-Fi calling and it fine. It's just there's no Voicemail app. I installed the Sprint Voicemail on it, but it's having a hard time connecting.
no sprint vm apk's will work because they have dependencies on some other sprint apps which wont work properly because they have some on system files.
So unless someone debugs and finds all of those and ports them never gonna happen.
Unless sprint gets finger out of butts and makes a proper VM app like the other providers. This is them basically not supporting unlocked phones.
Ive been on 935U since it was available to install and generally love it. Excellent battery life. WIFI calling works fine for me as long as the wireless connection is solid. No voice mail app though and Sprint apps do not work on it which I have gotten used to at this point. I prefer not having all the bloat.
I have been having a couple issues recently, not sure if due to the latest security update. Ive had issues with the keyboard coming up blank, text messages being delayed and/or coming in all at once at the same time, and today I happened to check my voice mail and there was a message from this morning but my phone never rang. I have even had a complete lockup/reboot recently which I never had on this firmware. So not really sure whats up.
I have been thinking about getting back on a Sprint firmware for when Nougat is ready so might end up switching back.

This is the Google dialer app that they patched to work on non nexus pixel phones with no root. Can someone on gv let me know if it works with GV?

It's if your using the stock dialer. I like the option it gives to either use GV or your carrier number before dialing out. That kinda works but using strictly GV though the stock dialer doesn't

Yeah me too. The bad part with hangouts is it uses ur data and if u don't have a good data signal it can be choppy on a call.

I only use GV through hangouts. I just installed MHA-L29C567B167 so I haven't tried it yet. The source is the changelog.
I just leaked MHA-L29C567B167 for US models.

GV works through hangouts. Its the GV app that does not. If you install the GV app and set it to always call using ur GV number the stock dialer on he mate 9 should call out using ur GV number which it doesnt and fails.
The update log for MHA-L29C567B167 says
:Fixes an issue where you cannot use Google Voice when using the SIM card of a certain carrier.:

hmm. Can you test this with the GV app? Set it to always use ur GV number, then open the stock dialer app on the mate 9 and make a call and let me know if it goes through and calls with ur GV number?
