Just started in the UK, download the Galaxy app from the Samsung store ( not google play) when it's open there is a banner at the top advertising features, swipe right to the end and follow the prompts

Indeed, I see: http://www.sammobile.com/2015/12/22...a-testers-for-android-6-0-marshmallow-update/
Will flashing the UK version of 5.1.1 be enough to participate in the beta program? I live in the Netherlands.

Flashing stock samsung firmware from sammobile with odin doesn't trip knox!
doing that won't trip knox, but probably you will need some vpn service to get things rolling
Anyone want to share that .apk?

Remove the sim card from the phone! It usually helps, at least in theme store in my case, if i want paid themes.

yesterday registered to beta program and waiting for my update
I've got UK XEU phone so flashed BTU firmware and installed Galaxy Care. Unfortunately getting server error on anything I do with app so don't get the register for beta bit. Gutted.

I'm not Korean

Get ready, you know the drill (assuming is the same as last year for the S6) stock BTU ROM and Beta application installed, get ready to register your device and we should hace the beta soon (hopefully)
"Server error, please try again later" when accessing the "Registration" menu item from the Galaxy Beta Program...
Edit: You probably need a BTU (aka UK unbranded) ROM. I am too lazy to install one right now, but good luck to those who will. Please don't forget to report on battery life and AOD 3rd party notifications support

Same. Though ill flash the first official update after the beta for sure.
@developers: Would it be feasible to create a flashable ROM from this beta firmware? Thanks
Judging by how stable and snappy all the current Note 7 port ROMs are, I'm pretty sure this beta will be awesome
im on BTU - still get server error

Samsung haven't started it yet, that's why people can't register yet
Do we flash BTU with ODIN?

I was using XEU last year with the S6 edge. Worked like a charm with marshmallow.
No luck with xsg
I get this message when opening the app. Hopefully we see servers up this coming week
So...just flash BTU and install the apk?

Basically yes, and then register your Samsung account in the beta program, but still, that's not a guarantee that you will be selected for the beta
Last year i use the same method for install Beta on my S6 and it isn't for a close number of people, i remember

There's already a thread about this subject:
Android 7.0 beta for galaxy s7 uk starting soon
I've searched through all the threads but none answered my question. I have an S8+ with XEU/XEU/VOD and have applied for the beta.
Am I even eligible for the update/will I get it?
In recovery and the samsung info app it says that my CSC is XEU, but there is still the VOD at the end...
SOLVED: If you are not getting the Oreo update but you have registered for beta, CLEAN flash either August or September firmware (through ODIN, no KNOX tripping, both available on sammobile) and the Oreo 8.0 update will be waiting for you straight away!

I don't know then, that's what happened to me anyway as you can see from the screen shot in post 2 xeu/xeu/h3g and that was after flashing xeu firmware and the csc (not the home_csc)
The 3rd line of the csc will stay the same unless you have another sim afaik.

You cannot change the last value. That's a hardware that can only be changed with root
Well damn. Thanks for the help guys, appreciate it.
Will wait for someone to drop the update file so I can flash it through ODIN. Do you think anyone has it yet? Cheers.

I upgraded my XEU/XEU/VOD yesterday through Samsung Members without modding. I was originally on Vodafone firmware back in April.

Interesting, you're on the September security patch. I'm on October.
Someone was also saying to downgrade and then try to update to oreo. I already have it downloaded so once I get home I'll clean flash the September FW and try to download the beta. Cheers mate!

Where'd you manage to find the september FW? I'm struggling to find a link. This is my plan too. I'm on the latest BTU Firmware at the moment, registered for the beta but no update has come through and it's been over 24 hours. If you could link me I'd be very grateful!

Could it be that the 5000 UK registrations have ended and that's why no download is presented?

So no l09 was take it. Except beta ofcourse.
flash it manually, version b361, it will be shortly distributed via OTA. Confirmed by Huawei, no more beta testing for Mate9.
I don't want to unlock bootloader? I will wait for Ota.
I have the Beta 329 version and still no update.

C432? I got nothing on mine
EDIT: woot, it's here in HiCare! Downloading as we speak, so people, go get your update!!
I got the update by checking the OS-updates in HiCare and then I could use the System updates menu to download it like normally. Now installing it.
EDIT: So I had the latest B197-Nougat, stock ROM. Now running Oreo. This update also brought security patches for December.
L09? Not beta tester?

According to Sammobile just about every non-English speaking country has received the Android 11 update. Any guess on when it will be available in the US for the A7?
I received mine last week, but it's been a bust. It broke my tablet and now it constantly freezes up and reboots.

I had already installed the UK version, so I don't know if it would have updated OTA. But the XAR version for the U.S. has been available with Frija.exe and I installed it. Haven't had any problems but I don't use One UI or anything very demanding.
