Hi all.
My S4 all the sudden has choppy graphics after a few app updates. All graphics are acting this way, the main launcher (stock) is even acting up! Graphic transitions are not as smooth as they used to be.
This happened before, after installing some camera app, I quickly uninstalled the app since the difference was immediately noticable after installing it and everything went back to normal.
However, a few app updates have been installed tonight, and I don't know which ones were updated, I cleared all the notiications without looking at them all.
Any ideas? Can I somehow see a log of updates for my apps? I really don't want to reset my phone!
Also, HOW in the world can this happen? This must be a bug in the system, that allows apps to mess upp ALL graphics! Very dissapointing.Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Well... I ended up uninstalling almost all my apps, more than 100. :-/
That solved the graphics issue.
Would be nice if this issue was resolved at Google but I'm not sure how to reproduce this since I have no idea what app messed things up!
When using Outlook for Android, Gmail, Slickdeals app, etc. and clicking to open a link it crashes with the message "Unfortunately Outlook/Gmail/Slickdeals has stopped." I tried resetting the apps permissions, deleting Chrome, deleting the cache for the apps, deleting and reinstalling the apps, etc. Many users with other phones had similar issues related to System Webview, but that is not enable or removable in Nougat. Does anyone know how to fix this without having to reset the entire thing? This is a stock T-mobile LG V20.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook?
Yes. It happens in other apps as well like Twitter, Gmail, Slickdeals, etc.

I got the same issue. Cleared cache, dalvic done everything I can think off and nothing. This started like 2 weeks ago on Moto X Pure. Don't want to factory reset so I'll try to see what else I can come up with to fix the issue.
I figured out the issue. I didn't update an app called 3c Toolbox and that was causing the problem. I updated the app and I don't get crashes anymore. Maybe it was the battery module or any other setting I had in the app messing stuff up.

Hi, does anyone else experiencing the constant stutters while using the Facebook app? I didn't expect the smoothness of iOS but for me it is so laggy that I can't stand it anymore. It's not fluid at all. And the worst is when I go to some Facebook group or page and try to scroll there. Everything on the phone works quite prefect. And I don't have any app like bixby remapper or something
To be honest with all the updates your best bet might be to do a factory reset....I was experiencing the lag before I cracked my screen last week....they wiped my phone and replaced the glass...I did a smart switch restore and now my phone doesn't lag

Has anyone come across this? Used Odin to update to ASG8 and after that noticed that the Email app scrolls superslow when zoomed in and, if zooming more, will hang completely. I'm now on ASH1 (G975FXXS3ASH1 to be precise), totally stock firmware and still have the problem. I can't seem to downgrade/sideload the email app either. The App version is 6.0.04.6. Have uninstalled, reinstalled the app, cleared cache and data for the app but still the same.
TIA
Hello. In last few days*I have a problem with lag and fluidity that occur occasionally. Example - the phone works perfect, fluidly and fast, and then a lag problem occurs and the phone slows down. So when I scrolling something, animations become very slow. It's not fluid, clear and fast, it's lagging, it's work very slow. That problem takes a minute, sometimes less of minute, and then the phone returns to normal with fast and fluid animations, work perfect, but after a while time, the lagging and slow work returns for a minute and gone, and it's been that way all day in the circle. What is problem? Do anyone have solution or all I can do is to wait new update with hope that new update will solve this problem? Thanks!*

I'm on 11.0.5.0 as well and device is running really well but then when I installed it, I formatted the device as I was coming from a custom rom. i stayed on this update as it was working really well even though havocOS, the rom i used for a long time, has released new update.
Same problem on xiaomi.eu 11.0.4...mostly happening on direct sunlight. Nothing helps, maybe changing color scheme....
Laggy mi 9t
After last update 11.0.5 became laggy for short time then smooth and repeated so many times

Yes, exactly thay. That's very annoying, and still no new update to fix this problem. Send it to developers in settings > feedback. If they see more reports with the same problem, they may be able to fix the problem faster. I already sent.

Where do you disable and uninstall app vault?
Can't find app vault in my installed apps, but in play store I can uninstall updates but not deactivate the app
Problem is probably in newest update, so I think is enough to uninstall any updates from app Vault, and the phone will work perfect without this problem with lag and slow work. I disabled app in settings > apps > manage apps, find Vault and disable, clear all data and updates from app. You can delete Vault with Fastboot Tool on PC if you want

on my phone it is not possible to disable it. i havenĀ“t rooted my phone. how did you manage to disable it?
Couldn't disable it, too. Just uninstalled updates and disabled automatic updates so that it won't download the bad version again. Works for now
I have a solution

the name of the application changes according to the language of each, the word vault is translated infact, go to the management of the applications, and scroll through all the applications, be careful to the icon of this application that you have already seen on the play store, so that you can uninstall it.
Today this started happening to me. I'm on 11.0.5 Global, stock and not rooted. I had 11.0.5 for about a week, don't understand why this started happening now. I uninstalled updates of App Vault and it looks like it runs smooth now.
I'm still getting lag even after uninstalling App Vault updates. It was good until today.
Just look for "App Vault" in my apps on Google Playstore and uninstall it from there. Can't say the problems related to 11.0.5.0 are completely resolved but uninstalling app vault seems to have given the phone some breather.
EDIT: No major difference, home screen lag is back despite removing app vault.
EDIT: Updating all the installed apps have fixed the lag issue. It was definitely related to incompatibility with one of the apps that were pending updates on Playstore since installing 11.0.5.0 update. It's worth noting that worse lag was triggered after I received Xiaomi's browser update today.
