I recently got my new V20. Upon using it for the first time i noticed that the screen starts flickering quite severely when using the camera app and later when using other apps. It seems that my secondary screen pops up on the bottom of the screen causing it the main screen to shift up or something like that. Is this a know issue and can it be fixed?

Thats not a known issue. You have a defective phone. Get it replaced

I bought this tab for the screen and ability to use the built in front facing cam for video chat with my wife and kids while I'm away for 5 months but while testing it out I've noticed the video quality is crap over google talk from my end. My wife's cam looks great. Is there anything I can do to improve the quality. Currently we are testing it over the same wifi connection.

interesting, i had the opposite effect, my camera looked fine but there camera look pix-elated, I assumed that there camera was the one with the problem.
I had an even different issue. Video and audio was about expected given the connection I had. However, the video of me slowly turned to 45 degrees during the chat. I saw it in the lower right of my screen when my dad told me. I restarted the tab but still it persisted. Anyone see this??

Registered, created an account and received the confirmation/activation email. When I click the link the website timeout - Chrome and Firefox....
The wonderful, trusty 'cloud' must be down...I think it started raining......LOL

This happened to me. There was a slide bar right above the picture of me while using gtak on the tab. If u slide it all the way one direction, right i believe, then it goes back to normal

I thought the slider controlled a zoom level of the camera facing me. At least that's the effect I noticed when I tried it. The tilting picture started when I tried moving the tab to show them something next to me. It really made things worse. I honestly can't remember if I had the lock on the screen auto-turning turned on. I disabled it once this weekend for some reason and may have left it off which caused the problem.
In either case, next time I'll try your suggestion but that's a problem that needs to be fixed because it's really quite awful. Even after a restart of the tab it starts again.

My brief experience suggested the slider both zooms and enables some kind of facial recognition, so when you move, the background instead moves and your face stays central. This can lead to blacked out areas depending on your position in the frame, as well as a tilting background. It's also a bit buggy i found...
So I bought a used N4 sold as is because the seller said he had some issues with the ROM and the touch sensitivity and all it needed was a stock ROM flash. I took up the challenge and flashed stock 4.4.4.
While I'm at the home screen everything's fine, as soon as opened the app drawer there were random touches all over the bottom half of the screen. Some were shown in the center and many at the bottom left corner but most were just random. I mean like 7-8 touches per second. The same happened whenever I went into play store, Opera or Chrome. Didn't test it further since I decided to try another rom.
Flashed Purity ROM and at first glance it worked flawlessly. Not random touches in home screen, app drawer or settings. Then I flash Gapps and the same thing happens with Play and Opera.
The funny thing is that the problem persists but at different circumstances. Can't pinpoint the exact cause. Should I get a new screen and try? Or maybe something else is at fault there?
I've been having the exact same problem as you. It started after I replaced the screen and the usb flex.
Ghost touches 1-2 each second only on some apps (none on homescreen or settings). I noticed that it happen in 4.4.4 app drawer but not in the 4.2.2 app drawer. I got almost no ghost touches on 4.2.2 messaging app also. It happens in almost any app, like play store, dropbox,chrome....
I thought it was the battery so I replaced it, but it did not fix it.
I have been trying to troubleshoot the problem but I ran out of theories. I wish the best luck to find the solution, as I almost gave up on it. If you happen to solve it tell me.
I think i found out what's causing this issue.
My theory was that apps with a lot of white would trigger the ghost touches. So I tested with flashlight screen apps that only show white on the screen. As expected the ghost touches only started to appear when i turned the flashlight on.
Therefore my theory was correct.
In my case I will contact the seller that sold me the screen to see if I can get a replacement.
I've had the intermittent touch screen issue, just above the capacitive buttons and also the ghost touches.
Started about 2+ weeks ago.
I reverted back to the stock "HOME" launcher instead of the Google Now launcher and that seemed to have fixed the issue.
I will have to keep an eye out to see if it lasts.

Hi everyone. this is my first post. i may make some grammar mistakes, because english is not my native language.
I found a solution for the ghost touch issue on my nexus 4, so maybe it can help who is having the same problem.
1- Download and instal the NOMone Resolution Changer on Play store
(this is my first post here, so i cant paste de link here, but you will not have trouble to find it)
2- when asked, Allow superuser
3- open the app and change the height resolution to 1250. (it worked for me, but make some tests to see if you need to disable a bigger part of the screen to avoid de problem)
This is not the best way to keep using your phone, because you may lost a part of the usable screen, but worked for me.

I workaround this issue avoid using undervoling in the kernel, and avoid lower temperatures in phone, yes as you read ... this issue give my crazy when my phone was to hot and I tried to cold my phone using one ice cube in screen and back, the temperature of the phone down but ghost touches appears again, so played some videos to warm the phone again and dissapear again.
Don't ask me about how it works, or relation with screen, digitizer or battery, I don't understand but help me to workaround the issue.
Just got an S7 Edge off Ebay noticed weird glitching with 5 apps in this folder when I went to 6 it went away sometimes I see it briefly in apps too. Im thinking its a software bug but the glitching pixels are always same place and none of the screen tests I tried replicated it. Any idea thanks? I've had this phone for a while now and I've had one issue that is persistent and very annoying.
I get a ghost or phantom touch when scrolling. Basically, I'll be scrolling through a webpage or Facebook or anything really and as soon as I put my finger to the screen and swipe up the phone will register this as a touch. This causes all sorts of issues like posts opening that I did not intend on opening or misdials.
Does anyone else have this issue? I'm on stock (rooted) with the september security patch. I did a factory reset today hoping that that would fix the issue as I was on TruPure before the stock rom I'm on now. I still have the issue, the factory reset did not fix the issue.
If anyone has any ideas or a solution, I'm all ears.

Me too, maybe. Upper left quadrant of screen becomes crazy. Touches produce random responses if not wild responses. Think software as reboot fixes. Sometimes walking away fixes it. Happens after phone has been actively in use awhile. Maybe memory or buffers are full.
I am clueless.

I'm experiencing the same exact thing, and yes it does seem to be focused in the upper left area as well. I replaced my screen a few months ago and thought it was the cheap screen failing. Are you on original or replacement screens?
New phone. Unlocked, TWRPed, systemless Root, stock ROM.

Noticed quite recently that the phone keeps freezing on apps only way is to close the app down clear from recents and try again. Or lock the phone and unlock it. Also having problems now when typing something out the keyboard accepts my typing but the text does not show up on screen. So I could be writing something out and half way through the text stops showing up. Starting to get frustrated with this phone now. Especially with news of another new phone coming out and this 1 does seem to actually have so many faults.
Constant crashes now on certain apps. Mainly Chrome.
I know alot of people find Chrome buggy but on mostly every other phone I have never had crashes like this.
Chrome seems to have issues with 120 refresh rate from what I've read. Happens on mine and I've read about it happening in the s20. It's the only thing they slows down at all on my phone

This happens to me all the time with Chrome. Incredibly annoying. In fact, it happened as I was typing this!!
I've had these issues but they disappeared after I took the Android 11 DP for a test drive. After I rolled back I haven't seen any of these glitches at all.
I get this sometimes and as silly as it sounds I'm actually touching the phones screen further up on the display.
Cleaning the phones screen helps as well.
Think QHD can cause this too.
Haven't had this issue persistently as you've mentioned though.

I never had a single slow down with chrome on my OP7 pro. All I know is I've read in many places 120hz send to be the problem with chrome. One way or the other, it's a chrome problem, not a phone problem

It's Chrome. I thought my 8 Pro was broken (I dropped it, then was having problems like you describe). Went back to my Nova5T, and Chrome hangs up in exactly the same way. Nothing to do with the OnePlus at all.
