MIUI 8 STABLE ROM FOR MOTO E [CONDOR]
This is not my rom, i'am just posting this on xda
Unlike other available miui 8 roms for moto e, this one is the most stable, everything works and you can use this as a daily rom for your device. One of the smoothest rom available for moto e:laugh:.
HOW TO INSTALL:
First Backup your files.
Rom zip in your sd card.
Now go to Recovery Mode.
Wipe data , cache , factory reset.
Install ROM Zip - dont install gapps because gapps already added in rom..
Now Reboot Your Phone.
WHAT WORKS:
Everything.:good:
WHAT DOES NOT WORK:
You tell.

First of all you made a duplicate thread.
There is already a thread made by Anderson on miui 8 and he also shared the latest stable ROM https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298932599
Just close this thread.

I misunderstood it.
You must have specified that its your experience.
But still you are suppose to share your thought in the specific ROM thread for which thread is made.

From a Froyo/GB Rom to SlimICS
Download latest cm9 nightly or any ICS kernel (odin or cmw flashable), device_x.x.zip and Slim_Common.zip
Enter CWM Recovery, Wipe data, Format System ( In Mounts and Storage)
Flash CM9 nightly or any ICS kernel ( via odin or cwm).
Reboot to recovery.
Flash Device_x.x.zip***, then Slim_Common.zip.
Reboot to system, Enjoy.
*** - If the flash is too quick ( < 5 seconds or so), reflash base before flashing essentials.
is this correct?
ahem, that's not what it says at all...
You're already on SlimICS. You dont need the Froyo/GB instructions..
"From another JB or ICS Rom to SlimBean
Download device_x.x.zip, slim_gapps.zip.
Enter CWM, wipe data, format system ( in mounts and storage)
Flash Device_x.x.zip***, then MUST flash slim_gapps.zip (other files optional)
*** - If the flash is too quick ( < 5 seconds or so), reflash device before flashing common or other zip files."
Also, NOTE. COMMON is not used anymore. Its now: Device_x.x.zip, slim_gapps.zip OR AIO.zip, and for this build, srec.addon.googlenow.zip as well (or something like that). Also, multidpi play store might be needed if you are going to change DPIs.
One more thing, please PM our Forum Moderator Oka1 and request him to move this to Vibrant Q&A section.
And make sure you click "thanks" for Krarvind, the one who built this amazing ROM and PRBassPlayer, our maintainer! (And me too, if you feel like it.)

Also, you will severely mess things up if you try to flash a GApps pkg on top of a stock ROM. Your GApps are included, if you wish to remove some then use Titanium Backup for that
Sorry I haven't posted anything here, yet. My main goal the past few days has been getting the 4.4.x GApps packages out the door with the new 2.0 installer. Once I catch my breath and am certain the new GApps installer is working properly, I'll get back to work here on Lollipop GApps.

Finally out of closed testing, here's my ROM
Features until now
Microg support
Built in user mode and without su and can potentially pass safetynet
Rootless OMS full support
Optimized very lightly for good performance and battery
Built with uber 4.9
Allows v4a to work in enforcing selinux
Fixed webview issues
Planned features
Pdesireaudio support (tricky because op3 already supports it in a different way)
I'm just waiting for some stuff pushing to git. When it's done I'll release the first public build

Currently everything is untouched except the ROM
When I actually decide to modify the kernel, you'll see it on my github here https://github.com/anupritaisno1
For now I'm just using the stock lineage kernel without any modifications at all
I'll update the thread with sources in a few minutes
Hi !
This rom seems really interesting, but I can't find any link to the rom itself, since the link you gav earlier is a OPO rom.
So, is there any link still available for the latest version of the rom ?
Thank you ! ^^
Yes same here... There is no link for op3 but a link is for OPO (Bacon).

Hi guys,
I want to notice you that a new build of Paranoid Android is available on the official site
http://get.aospa.co/official/onyx
The AOSPA 7.3.0 comes with various bug fixes and performance improvements.
I'm testing to discover if major bugs were be resolved.
For now, overnight freeze was not occurred.
magisk - work
substratum theme - work
gestures - works
unlock phone with face - work
viper fx - doesnt work
Thanks for the information. Nice to see the development for our onyx but still goes. Is this the official thread here? Or is it only on Google Plus?
What kind of GAPPS do I need to install PA ?
@kratosboss are you new maintainer for onyx?
--
Sim slot 2 bugs still persist since the first build of PA.
Any workaround for this?

Opengapps, pico or nano, I prefer nano..
Again new thread in wrong section...!!
AOSPA thread is already there you should share it there rather than creating new thread.if the rom does not belongs to you don't post in original development section.

Sorry man,
I was writing from my phone and I made mistake.
I'm not the mantainer of this ROM. I only found the post on xda (not the forum) with Onyx specifically bug fixes.
Although OVERNIGHT FREEZE still occurred!
I'm switching to AOSCP 'cause in AOSP 8.0 the equalizer don't work (even with Magisk and modules) and the battery drain in higher than normal!
With the PA from the firt release to the last 7.3.0 every morning the opx is dead and the alarm don't ring. I have to press power button to force the restart. How can I resolve? Thanks
7.2.0, 7.2.1, 7.2.3, 7.3.0, 7.5.0, 8.0, 10.0....... no different.
Q: why bother to flash? A: because im dumb enough
Q: who is the official maintainer for onyx anyway? A: NONE, a ghost, i dont really care
Q: Do you like the new PA's added features XYZ? A: NO. its a gimmick for me.
Q: So its useless? A: MAYBE. but its unusable.
Q: will he (maintainer) abandoned us again with broken build or unfixed old issues (just like the former maintainer) A: i hope not. but its crossed in my mind
End of chat: good luck then.. | you too..

Yep thats what I want to say...why people so curious about this ROM if they doesn't even know who is maintainer for this ROM..People here creating threads to share issues but don't know who is going to solve.
The ROM seems fine and functional but it doesn't seem to use OOS camera blobs so you can't get manual mode in any camera. Why are we hell bent on having crappy camera software?

This is a thread for PA marshmallow. Not Nougat.
The original thread for PA Nougat is closed because the dev had to quit.
There were no communication from PA team to OPX users which is quite sad (because that means that we won't have "full support". NB : I'm not criticizing the team).

When I tried the 7.3.1 before coming back do LOS 14.1, it didn't work (I had to backup and re-format to FAT32).
Paranoid Android bug for OPX
I have a really serious problem here. I flashed my OPX the rom with nano g-apps as mentioned in the thread. Initial set up was fine. I configured personal settings. Now the device sometimes hangs during the usage. It just hangs while I'm using. Not a particular app or particular thing but it suddenly stops working and gets stuck. I then have to press power button for like 30 seconds to reboot it. I thought this is because first time but then this kept repeating and I'll be battery less if it continues.
Any help? If you wanna see some kind of bug report for my device, please tell me where I would find it to upload here.
PA is not updated anymore by a dedicated dev to OPX. So specific bugs won't be solved.
I'd advise to try an other rom...
Except that , you can try a custom kernel on it if it's possible (at one moment, RJ blocked kernel installation... Don't know if still the same.)
