Hi All
I'm not permitted to post in Turbo-ROM thread, so post it here
Here are the solution & steps for the China 23s GPS issue (IZAT has been disabled in 23s):
1. Download the zip file, you will get 2 ".conf" files in the zip --> gps.conf & izat.conf:
2. copy gps.conf & izat.conf to your device under the path : system/ect
3. chmod 644 system/ect/ gps.conf
4. chmod 644 system/ect/ izat.conf
5. reboot ur device
enjoy it
Many thank Master Turbo
thanks

Hi,
First of all is it possible?
If it is, has anyone tried to extract Swype from Telstra's RUU and install it in another Wildfire?
Tried extracting the installer but was unsuccessful.
Thanks in advance
I've tried to extract (and was successful), but when I tried to execute it gave me a FC. I guess it was because libSwypeCore.so was not in the /system/lib folder.
Like busybox in my other thread, every time I tried it gave an error.
Something like:
# ./busybox cp /sdcard/libSwypeCore.so /system/lib/
cp: can't create '/system/lib/libSwypeCore.so': Cannot allocate memory
# cd /system/lib
# cat /sdcard/libSwypeCore.so > libSwypeCore.so
cannot create libSwypeCore.so: not enough memory
# mv /sdcard/libSwypeCore.so /system/lib
failed on '/sdcard/libSwypeCore.so' - Cross-device link
# dd if=/sdcard/libSwypeCore.so of=/system/lib/libSwypeCore.so
/system/lib/libSwypeCore.so: cannot open for write: Out of memory
I really need to know how to copy files to the /system folder.

Ok I think I found a way
Just edit the APK and put the libSwypeCore.so in the lib/armeabi folder, zip the files and sign the APK.
It runs nice and no FC I will edit the APK (again) to include the Portuguese language.
Could u please upload it
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
@ricardoft : Edited the Swype.apk
Put the libSwypeCore.so
Under
Swype.apk
->Lib
---|>armeabi
---------|> libSwypeCore.so
Is this right ? repacked the apk as above attached with the post.
I got "application not installed" as error message
I wonder how to repack it then :|
I am using the 1.54 Version for QVGA , Works fine in Portrait mode , hides some keys in Landscape.
I've been busy with the University but here is the modified APK.

It still has some issues. One of them is when choose Swype for the Input Method it still crash. Don't know why, but I think it still has something to do with the libSwypeCore.so.
i wouldnt mind doing this as i basically paid for it when i bought the phone...
using a clockwork backup i was able to extract the apk and libSwypeCore.so
butwhen i put the lib in place and installed the apk i just get blue flashing outline of keyboard and no output text...
Since I cant post in development section I will ask here if someone can help me. I have U8800 with 2.3 stock rom and I cant remove stock apps (swype in my case).I am rooted with DooMLoRD_v3_ROOT and SU is instaled. I did find apk file (/cust/hw/default/apk) but I am not able to remove it. I tried with titanium backup, root explorer, terminal emulator (cant find target) and with super manager. It seems like I am half rooted as root explorer cant mount rw in cust directory but works in system directory.Any idea is welcome, thank you!
You need to do it manually via adb shell. First to mount the partition as rw and then to remove it. I want to remove this file too, so I' ll try it asap.
EDIT:
I tried but this partition which is on /dev/block/loop0 cannot be mounted rw, I get a permission denied error.
.
In pinkscreen mode delete cust.image file, then delete apps with titanium backup.
We want to delete only some apps.
With your way we loose all huawei' s custom configuration, it' s like we don' t install step3.
This is not a solution.
I hope that we can find solution for this as I want to instal costum swype with my language enabled (slovenian) and can not do it untill I remove stock one. If any of you can post in development section maybe you can ask there if they know the solution for this, thank you!
I fixed it.
I deleted all unneeded apks (stock apps) that stored in cust.img
My method;
1. On Slitaz Linux 3.0
2. Open terminal
3. Copy cust.img from phone to /home folder
4. mkdir tmp
5. mount cust.img /home/tmp
6. cd /home/tmp/hw/default/app
7. Delete apk files what you don't want
8. unmount tmp
9. Copy cust.img from /home folder to phone
Ok, but I dont have linux or terminal on my computer. Is there any way to do this via terminal emulator on the phone? Or is there some step by step guide how to do it as I am not really familiar with terminal or its use.
http://www.multiupload.com/EKPGJ7EUGO
This is "cleared" cust.img. That contains only these apks;
BeyondTheSkyTheme.apk
Calendar.apk
CalendarProvider.apk
DeskClock.apk
ToolBox.apk
1. Download this rar archive and open it.
2. Start your phone in pink screen mode
3. Backup original cust.img to your computer
4. Copy "cleared" cust.img from rar to phone.
Thank you,I managed to install swype in my language and it works great. I was wondering if there is any chance to extract all factory .apk files and post them somewere so people could donload them and install them if they want. I am missing that weather clock widget but swype is far more important to me, so thank you again to make it possible.
This rar archive contains all apks that stored in cust.img -->> http://www.multiupload.com/8DWKNVTXML
Just copy apk file (which ones do you want) to "/system/app" folder and restart.
or
This is only TotemWeather.apk -->> http://www.multiupload.com/IWX7U3G5FU
Just copy to "/system/app" folder and restart.
Thank you, you are the best. Will this cust.img work with 2.3 beta which will be released this thursday according to Huawei? If not I wont update again as I just managed to adjust phone to my needs.
I hope, it will works with the new update. If not, i'll fix it when update released.
could you give us a cleared cust.img for the official 2.3.5???
Hi xda-developers before read my long story sorry for my bad english and I hope you can help me…
I bought this phone recently and because I don't feel comfortable with EMUI I decided to do some modding. I rooted the phone successfully, remove some apps, install a new launcher and at this point everything was fine then i decided to install XPOSED FRAMEWORK.
I didn´t know that Huawei phones has so many problems with Xposed but I took the risk to follow Xposed installation instructions of another Huawei model. I'll write the instructions that I followed.
I changed ro.config.hwtheme in build.prop to 0, reboot and everything was fine
Then I installed a console app to use this commands:
Code:
su
mount -o rw,remount /system
cd system
lsattr
chattr -R -i *
rm –f /system/set_immutable.list
But when i used lsattr and chattr the console display COMMAND NOT FOUND then I read an alternative to that commands.
Code:
chmod –R –i *
I have a little experience with Linux but I had never seen the “-i” modificator on chmod and the console too xD it displays
Code:
“bad mode not valid –i command”
or something similar.
Finally in a moment of stupidity I executed this command
Code:
chmod –R 777 *
I Reboot, Huawei logo then black screen, I remove the baterry, reboot and the same…
Well I only have the default Android recovery on the phone…
I found a ROM but that ROM is for the Huawei Y625-U32 I tried to modify this ROM removing the getprop lines on update-script and resinging the rom with APK SIGN but always trying to flash the signature verification fails.
Finally i read apart of the 3 files that generates APK SIGN in the META-INF folder (cert.rsa, cert.sf and manifest.mf) inside com/android exists other certificates files (otacert and metadata) and this files are related with the file /security/etc/otacerts.zip inside the phone but with Android recovery everything is complicated.
Well after my long story anybody can help me? I thought of these possible solutions:
Anybody can share me a backup ROM (update.App file) of this model (I know is a bit heavy to upload 700MB aprox.)
Help me modifying the Y265-U32 ROM to pass the frustrating signature check of Android Recovery (of course if at the end would be safe to mod that ROM or not )
Or any other suggestion please XDA Friends and thanks in advance.
P.D. I want to try all possibilities before send to technical service besides that the model was released recently (April 2015) and I dont know if they can flash it and sorry for my bad english again.
I'm on Colombia and I have the same model, original firmware can be found here: http://consumer.huawei.com/co/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=66735&key4=Y625
This is stock ROM. I recommend you NOT modify your system if you don't know too much.
Hope this helps
Hello guys I have a Huawei Y625-U13 from Mexico. My device is Softbricked, it wont boot up, its stucked at HUAWEI's Logo. I found the firmware to make an update via SD card (dload file). But I can't install it on my device, somebody knows how to?
I found a Debloat script for the Z5 with .224+.253 FW and it works great on Z3+/Z4 (E6553). The Link to the Post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67339653&postcount=14
Download the zip file and unzip it, move the two files to your internal sdcard
In TWRP :
Go to Mount and mount the System Partition, go back
Advanced > Terminal, then cd /sdcard/, and execute :
sh debloat.sh debloat224.sane dry to see what the script would do
sh debloat.sh debloat224.sane to actually move the apks into /system/__Removed/.
To get the Apps back (if you want to) you just move it back from /system/__Removed/ to its original place, and reboot.
Here is another thing which i found out, if you want to restore some of the Apps. After you placed the Folder back to its original place, you have to change all permissions of the Folder and the Files in it matching to those which are already in the /system/app/ or similar Folder.

It will GONE if you don't backup or remember it.
1. Restore to stock ROM
2. Uninstall modules like: Pixelarity, Oxy-ify, ... Because some will overwrite your SN, IMEI systemlessly. (Can be restore)

how can i copy files in it? becz i rooted my device and tried changing the permission of the folder but i cant
adb root is also saying cant get this in production rom even i have root access for my terminal.
the persist is a symbolic link to /mnt/vendor/persist.
