SOFT BRICK need help

okay so i just got my nexus and coming from htc one s i fariley decent at flashing and rooting and all that cool stuff.
but im right now im stuck in a bootloop at the google screen with pad unlock i tried relocking the bootloader and then unlokcing it again and flahsing cwm and factory reseting but still stuck at bootloop. ( if anything i had already updated to 4.2.2 ) so i need help thanks
Download wugresh root toolkit for nexus devices, and then use the Flash stock+unroot and select current status as soft/bricked/bootloop
this is a known issue with some units after unlocking the bootloader.
boot into fastboot again and flash custom recovery .img file with terminal
run recovery and clear cache, dalvik cache, and fix permissions then reboot.
your phone should boot in under a minute.
(this took me about an hour of watching the boot animation to figure out...I wanted to pull my hair out lol)
thanks man im trying this now and it looks like it's working ill get back to you on the status and thanks to the other guy who had suggestion

Bricked LG G6 H870

Hello all,
After having trouble to boot to TWRP through recovery (and when the phone was still functional), I messed around and flashed TWRP through Flashify and now I can't even go to the OS. When i try to get to recovery I get sort of a bootloop in TWRP and I also get this if I simply reboot the phone. At this point I already lost all hope since I think the phone is bricked for good.
If someone have any idea how to get through this I would be very pleased.
Thanks.

Have you tried to flash through lgup?
I had the same problem last week and i said the same (bricked phone)
this solution worked for me after 100 attempt
before the LG logo appear try to enter to recovery (volume down + power button / release power when the logo appear and click again )
try this, from the unlocking guide
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/how-to/official-lg-g6-bootloader-unlock-t3614719
Alternatively, you may be able to boot into fastboot without ADB by powering off the phone then power the phone on while holding Volume UP (USB cable will need to be removed otherwise it may boot into LG Download Mode)

if it boots into fastboot you should be able to flash twrp.img from adb
then i would go to recovery and start fresh by wiping everything :victory:
Hi guys,
Thanks for the support! It turned out to be a corrupt SD card I had in the phone that was causing TWRP to get screwed.
Thankfully everything is working fine .
Neverheless, thank you all for your support.
Thread can be closed, issue solved.
happy for you bro

After flashing TWRP for the first time (especially TWRP 3.2.3 by SagarMakhar https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=3700668719832241089) you have to wait for nearly 5 min for first decryption to fail.
Afterwards it works as usual.
You will get TWRP logo on screen and have to wait until you get into MENU.
If it is a bootloop you will not bootloop into TWRP but on system.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply, but u didn't get my problem, this is not the first time I'm flashing twrp, this happened after I changed from one rom to another, twrp was working fine until now.
And the problem is, if I try to boot into twrp it shows the twrp logo then immediately a black screen comes up then the twrp logo again and so on indefinitely.
I've tried flashing twrp again through fastboot, it succeeds but same thing happens when I boot into twrp again. I've tried different twrp versions as well.
Directly booting from fastboot doesn't work and spits out an error. (FAILED remote: unknown command)
Do u suggest I try to go back to stock rom using the 247 fastboot firmware?

Fastboot flash to 247 will resolve the issue if it was caused due to any ROM.
May be some partition got formatted.

Ok I have a few doubts regarding going back to stock.
This is the guide that I'm supposed to follow right, the one in the OP by you? https://forum.xda-developers.com/as...ow-to/guide-revert-to-stock-rom-lock-t3798420
Is it alright if I am in a custom rom at the moment, can i still flash the fastboot firmware?
And is it safe for me to do it right now with twrp still kinda present?
Thank You so much for your help, really appreciate it
Edit: Ok just realized your post answers all of my questions but thanks anyway
