Lenovo phone a1000 marshmallow

Hello, just got as a present Lenovo a1000 phone with android 5.0
First thing I'm trying to see if it can be upgraded to 6.0
I found a number of links that claim to be rewritten instructions from xda-developer forum. But the download links look like a scam. Need to complete serveys to download files and ask for phone number, etc. So I can't get to downloading these files. Searching for one hour in the forums, I can't find any posts with information about a1000 phone let alone marshmallow upgrade.
So my question is if there's any hope for marshmallow on Lenovo mobile phone a1000? If so how do I get to the ROM?

Update: I can't leave a comment on the sites. Sounds like actual scam.. I guess lollipop wins.. Good at least phone looks more usable than other lenovo phones I've seen. Time will tell.
Update 2: I have managed to download the files by using a US mirror. They are completely different thing than promised. Some windows programs. So it is a SCAM. There is to date no marchmallow firmware for a1000. If you don't find a reputable source, don't click on the advertisings so the pastards don't win.

Sadly there aren't marshmallow roms the only custom rom i found was this lollipop rom http://www.needrom.com/download/lenovo-a1000-custom-rom-aosp-lolipop-stable/

has anyone finally flashed any Custom ROM into Lenovo A1000?
I am looking everywhere I can, but it seems as if there is nothing so far for this phone - not even TWRP is supported...
I was able to root it via KingRoot but other than that, it seems as if there's nothing else you can do...

Just gave up there is no custom ROM I search so many times but nothing i get a1000 looks great with lollipop

Just flashed the rom and booted everything seems fine just give me a day or so will report back too you with bugs etc or anything initial impression are good more smooth then open beta 4 @jamal2367

Not downloaded yet. Did you just replace the system and boot files from the 3 version of Experience with 3T OpenBeta 4 files?'
I'm a bit reluctant to test it since so many people seemed to have issues with Viper and Magisk and selinux causing CPU thrashing. None of these issues in Freedom. Then again, my black notifications won't work in Freedom.
Anyone else using Magisk (I need to pass SafetyNet) and using Viper (I need Viper like I need air) without issues?

There is a new update for Miui ROM for One Plus 3T which is based on Android N.
It is in very early stage of development and very buggy. So try it only if you are feeling adventurous.

I think it will always be based on chinese.. I also hope some developer beside chinese developers try to port the Global Rom.

I did. Seemed like camera was only thing I remember not working. Real smooth.

Hydrogen OS update
So how is the OS ? Anyone has reviewed it yet ?

I live in China, I find this ROM really nice, a lot of features are here to make stuff quick, like the long fingerbitton press to go straight into wechat paying (or alipay, it's up to you) the automatic spam folder for sms, and other small stuff that makes me happy ^^
I'm wondering if other people are using this ROM over here ...
I just went to their official website, apparently they have an 8.0 Beta rom available, I'm trying to get some information before trying that

I was decrypted my friend, but also flashed dm-verity after rom flash :good:

I've been using the last beta for a couple of days, seems legit, no bugs and the battery life is quite good ... I'll stick around till other rom have a decent camera

yes mate its nice and quick and a bit different than OOS but all in all good experience, hope you enjoying it, cheers.

Not that good as OOS. Some chinese bloatware, no Google Play Store installed and battery life isn't great. There is some chinese words in apps (Phone dialer app - call log) here and there...

I'd like to use a ported version of the launcher from Hydrogen OS! Maybe somebody will take care of it.

He never said to use 5.1.1 specificly. Maybe you cen use kernel from other custom roms...

bro i installed the rom in my mobile and it is just awesome ui is awesome and all are working fine
except "wifi and hotspot" not working... fix those bugs soon
and when power off the showing commands bug is slightly annoying otherwise the whole rom is simply awesome and can be used for daily usage
