As title says I've been looking for an AOSP based ROM that can pass SafetyNet but there just seems like no way I can, I've tried unrooting Ressurection Remix and Lineage. Has anyone been able to do this and is able to give me step by step instructions?

i wanna ask why cm14.1 or Lineage os based rom can't pass SafetyNet app?? i'd try many Nougat's Rom from here but still can't passed the SafetyNet App.. it's say "response payload validation fail"... Furthermore, i flash the rom without root it.. and of course no xposed... But the previous version (CM13) it's says success (don't mind the tokens).. help me out guys really want to taste Android Nougat with ease..
Hello, I own a SM-G531H and I've already tried many Custom ROMS like LineageOS 14.1 and Ressurection Remix. Any of them seem to work with Snapchat as somehow it detects that I'm on a Custom ROM and it refuses to login. WhatsApp just does the same, noticing that I'm on a Custom ROM but it at least let me use it.
Do you guys have any sucess using Snapchat on a Custom ROM? What ROM?
Thank you.
As title says, I need the stock rom. Downloading from sammobile takes about 15 hours so I wonder if someone can upload it (I'm sure many of you already downloaded the stock rom from sammobile).
Otherwise, suggest me a rom that passes Safetynet completely, because I've tried so many roms, stock-based, AOSP-based, porting, prerooted and not prerooted, and none of them passes Safetynet completely.

Also as of now zero ROMs can pass SafetyNet while you are rooted, when you are not rooted you will pass but usually none of the S3 Neo ROMs can pass SafetyNet.

Yeah, I see. It's strange that non-prerooted roms don't pass safetynet. Btw, I don't need root, so I guess I'll stay stock.
I don't know why you don't need root but I needed my s3 neo completly unrooted so i could play fate GO a rly awsome game that has some nasty root detection rly it made me puke like u have to remove every trace of root that there is. But i managed to get it running on cm 12.1 and on los 13 by completly unrooting with no need for pc and by using a flasable zip i found on 1 reddit thread. I dont know if my rom passes safety net or not but at least its completly unrooted.
EDIT
Well it seems like on cm 12.1 non rooted i pass safety net if you wish i can tell u how i unrooted my s3 neo on cm 12.1
:good:
I need non-rooted rom because pokemon go doesn't work anymore with magisk (in fact someone posted a fix right after I opened this thread). Btw, before the fix was posted, I've done a few test. I flashed lineage os 14.1, then magisk 14, then rebooted, then flashed universal safetynet fix for magisk v14, then flashed magisk 16. In this way safetynet passes completely even with root. Flashing directly magisk 16 without the universal safetynet fix make the safetynet to not pass.
Im telling you i had los 13 and now cm 12.1 completly unrooted without magisk. It can run pokemon go fine
Has anyone got Android pay working on any of the custom ROMs available for this device?
I managed it on Mi5 using magisk but haven't been able to try it on the mi note 2 yet
Worked on every ROM i extensively tried. (Ressurection Remix, Cardinal, Cosmic, AOSP Extended, CrDroid)
But i needed Magisk installed or else it gave me a warning that my device was modified and Pay cant work on modded device and app quits.
Looking to install a stock kernel somehow but i'm not sure how exactly. is there any guide on how to install a stock kernel? I've already looked arrount the forums but didn't really find any usefull information.
I'm rocking a xxx41 model and I'm planing to install Invicta OS onto it.
Thanks for any help in advance.

I have already replied same thing on older thread, [ https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/help/quick-questions-kernel-installations-t3794980 ]
if you flash ROM, it will also install kernel which is considered stock for that installed ROM. You need to flash kernel only if you have modified it (by flashing custom kernel or SU zips).
If you want to flash different ROM, you can flash without doing anything else, just wipe and flash.
PS invictaOS is discontinued long ago, invictaOS-Nougat is stable, Oreo will be more bugfull than current available ROMs..
Experience "failure to load kernel" issue after flashing lineage 17 OS and OpenGapps 10 stock... please share the solution.. do i need to load a stock kernel?

Though these forums are for the Moto G4 Plus, that does suggest an issue with the build of Lineage OS that you're using. Can you confirm with the developer that this build is successfully running on their device? Do you have a compatible Lineage 17 OS based kernel you could try to flash?
Was your device working with other stock or custom ROMs before flashing Lineage 17?
