Completely stuck on "Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge" after root attempt - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hello,
I've recently tried CF auto rooting my S7 edge, as I've rooted all my previous phones. I must of flashed the wrong ROM and am now stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge" screen with the "powered by android" on the bottom. I'm unable to power off the phone, nor go into recovery mode (or any other mode for that matter). When holding down the Volume down + Power + Home button, the phone seems like it 'restarts'. The screen goes black but then it goes right back to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge screen. Is there anything I am able to do to restore the phone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

As the phone good black, release the home button, but keep holding the volume down and power. This should place you in download mode.

I've tried every possible button combination, nothing happens. I did manage to solve the issue, I let the phone die then as I plugged the phone into the charger and tried booting into recovery again it worked. No idea what that did, must of been a fluke.

Phone turns on then off

I have the ATT S4.
I used the twrp app to flash a new recovery on my phone. I downloaded the jflteatt and flashed it through the app. Worked all day til the evening that i needed to reboot it. It won't boot up anymore.
I take the battery out, and put it in and then galaxy s4 splash screen comes up. but goes away quickly. I take the battery out again, and put it back in holding volume down, it brings up a screen saying "do you want to install custom OS?" "press volume up for yes, or volume down for no" but quickly the screen goes black again and i can't do anything, even if i try and press for yes.
I take the battery out, and put it back in holding the volume up button. I boots up to the galaxy s4 splash screen with "booting into recovery" in blue letters at the top left part of the screen, then the screen quickly goes black again and i it doesn't do anything.
Is there anything else I can do?
thanks for any help

Unless you can get it to stay in download mode, no. Does it show a charging battery if you plug it in?

samsung galaxy s7 bricked

My phone wont start anymore it just goes to the att logo and freezes and i also wont go into recovery mode. The model number is SM-G935A.
Switch your Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge completely.
Boot into Galaxy S7 recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Down, Home and Power keys at the same time.
Release all three buttons when Samsung Galaxy S7 screen flickers and you see a warning sign.
Press Volume Up to continue to the main screen of Recovery mode. Or, press Volume Down if you aren’t sure and want to go back to the normal mode.
You can also try from totally off, press volume up, home, and power.
Last, it sounds as if you recently tried to root?
If that is the case just get into recovery, I know sometimes it can be a pain to get there, and then factory reset in there and you should be back up and running.

It wont boot into recovery mode it just show recovery booting flashing in blue letters then it restarts regularly
If you do not know what you are doing best bet for you is to take it somewhere to get restored. Safest way is to take it to the Samsung reps inside a Bestbuy call ahead and explain the model so they can start downloading the correct firmware.

Power button problem

Hi all,
I have accident on sea where one wave splashed a bag where my phone was. After small problems with "laggy" buttons everything went fine and my phone worked correctly except power button. It doesn't react. I couldn't even restart the phone. And when my battery was used I coudnt turn it on. I tried to press volume up + power button million times, or all 4 buttons, and somehow I manage to turn it on again while still I was on vacation. Few times I have entered Android recovery screen, and Power button worked perfectly there (I managed to press power button and select reboot device). And after the phone turn on power button would usually works few minutes and then it would died again.
I have installed software for simulation of power button and it worked ok. This morning somehow I decided to turn off my phone, and I couldn't even imagine what kind of problems I will have to turn it on again. Whole day I am trying to turn it on, but it doesn't react. When I pull in charger then it shows regularly battery status (70%). I am desperate :crying:
I am trying to google or find any solution how to bring it ON again without power button, but without success
Is there any way how could I turn Samsung galaxy S6 Edge Plus without power button?
And what you think, is this some kind of software problem, and maybe some factory reset or flashing might help? Or it is more likely hardware problem?
Many thanks in advance.
Can anyone help me?
I have just found this article which might help me:
How to turn ON Galaxy S6 without using the power button:
When the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge is turned off, press and hold the volume button for a few seconds.
While holding the volume button, connect the Galaxy to a computer using a USB cable.
Wait for your phone to boot to Download mode.
Then press down on the volume rocker to cancel the operation.
After the operation has canceled, the Galaxy will reboot and turn on.
You have successfully turned on the Galaxy S6 without using the power button.

But somehow this doesn't work for my phone? First I wasnt sure which volume button should be pressed, so I tried with both in all combinations and still cant get into Download mode.
But I am glad that samsung had created some workaround if power button is not working. THis used to work on older models I guess.
Is there anyone who might know the way how to turn on phone without power button?

S7 edge downloading... don't turn off target

Hi! I accidentally went to download mode and this "downloading don't turn off target message" appeared. It took me at least 20 seconds before I finally pressed volume down + home button + power button. My phone seemed to have rebooted after I did this. Was any harm done? Did my phone download something? Kinda worried because I'm not sure if it damaged my phone or something. Thanks!
Nope. That screen on download mode appears whether or not you were downloading anything. Since you weren't downloading anything, it's fine.

S7 Edge bricked?

S7 Edge has black screen, just the LED is slowly fading blue.
power button + volume down has no effect. I don't get into Download mode or Recovery mode. It's dead. Can I try something else or can you confirm that it is bricked?
I didn't root it or flash something. It's the device of my girlfriend. It was suddenly dead, at first power+VolumeDown helped and it hung at the Samsung-Logo. After several reboots it is dead now.
