The four Chinese models are NXT-AL10, NXT-CL00, NXT-DL00, and NXT-TL00. So, what is your phone model?
Maybe your phone supports 4G for France.

4G on D802 HKG version

I have a D802 Hong Kong version. In the secret menu (3845#*802#) i have found this: LGD802AT-00-V10C-HKG-XX-NOV-30-2013
Now, I would like to use the 4g connection in my country (Italy, carrier TIM) but the 4g option is not avaible in "network mode". After a test with another G2 (italian version and same carrier), I can say that the connection don't switch automatically on 4g but keeps the H+ one. So i think is necessary a modification.
Solutions?
Is it necessary to flash an europe radio? or something else? I'd like to keep the stock rom Lg but is not a fundamental.
Baseband: M8974A - AAAANAZM - 1.0.190036
Kernel: 3.4.0
Build: JDQ39B
I have the g2 for two days. I know it very little. I do not have much knowledge about it. Some good soul can explain to me how to do?
I need your help!
Did you verify that the device has the correct radio bands for the lte on that carrier?

I don't know how to check! On the box of g2: gsm 850/900/1800/1900; wcdma 850/900/1900/2100; LTE 2100(B1)/1800(B3)/2600(B7)/900(B8)/800(B20).
My carrier is Tim but i don't kwow which band uses.
In secret menu/LTE Band section: avaible band 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,17,20,40. No one is selected.
Can i flash V10E firmware for Italy on V10C firmware for honk kong (actually on my device)?
Flashing different firmware wont help. Its either your apn is wrong or you didnt enable lte correctly. I checked and TIM uses 1800 (band 3) lte which your phone should work with.

maybe i should enable "band 3" in LTE setting in secret menu.
Hi,
I've a similar question and I hope someone could help me: I've a G2 phone using the D80210e-ESA-XX firmware.
In the product specifications, supported LTE frequency bands are 900/1800/2100/2600/850. I know that in Italy working frequency bands are 800/1800/2600. Now, my phone does not support 800 MHz: do you think is possible to upload a different firmware (IT or EUR ones) on my phone? With one of these firmware, does the device will work at 800 MHz?
Thank you so much.
I also had the D802 with Korean firmware!
Even though the phone itself supports LTE the Korean firmware doesn't!
I flashed the EU version and everything worked fine afterwards!!!

No no i am using the LTE in Greece!!!
But LTE is LOCKED in Korean firmware!!!
In older Korean Firmware you could activate LTE from secret menu but in newer version this option has been removed!
The only solution in my case was to flash a european (or in your case italian) Firmware and everything worked like it should

@popsi, @zacharias99 did you follow a specific procedure to upload the european firmware. I'm not so sure to perform it cause some month ago I've bricked an old Motorola (I don't remember the exact model) using simply a firmware of a different country. The result was a brick cause two firmware did not use the same way to allocate the memory...

My friend i don't really know where in this forum the instructions for flashing a new stock firmware are... (I am also new in this community)
And i flashed it with Greek instructions so my link won't help you and i don't want to post some link i haven't tested by myself...
Sorry i hope you can understand!
At moment i have no time, but if I would be you I would search in the G2 Section for instructions!
They must definitely be somewhere!
Did you subscribe for LTE with your carrier?

@zacharias99, I've checked that 4G can be enabled using the secret menu
1. Go to LTE-Only
2. Modem Settings
3. RAT Selection
4. Select GSM / WCDMA / LTE auto
as in the post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494751
At the moment it doesn't seem to work for me, probably because my sim still has not been enabled for 4g.
Have you ever enabled this option (with the previous korean firmware, I mean)?
@zacharias99, @popsi: the new european firmware allows to navigate over the 800MHz frequency band for you?
Thank you

Hi,
the procedure using the secret menu definitively works on my D80210e-ESA-XX, but I need to re-select it after every reboot.
Does anybody know how to make it permanent or how to automate this selection on boot (maybe using Tasker or something similar)?

Please help asap

HI, really sorry if this is a noob question but would someone be able to answer this asap. I live in the UK and purchased an S5 off ebay it stated it was the SM-G900F (UK varient I believe) but upon delivery I checked and its the SM-G900S which is the Korean vairent.
So I put my sim in and it displays that im roaming which is obviously wrong. Can I just flash a UK rom and will everything work like uk varient or is the radio bands or anything else different. Please answer asap as I will need to contact ebay.
Also is this 4G version and will it work in UK?

No, LTE bands are defined in the radio chip. You cannot change these bands by flash a different rom or modem.

Yes, as the cpu/gpu, screen and reoslution are similar i guess you could do that. Don`t know the supported LTE bands of the 900S though. Maybe its best to file a complaint to Ebay about the seller misleading you as you probably will not have warranty either.

transform SEA model to EUR model

hi
i have a 32gb SEA model.
is there a way to transform it to a generic EUR version and received updates?
i have already flashed german eur v10g-EUR-XX
but on software info it shows "v10g-SEA-XX" and are included branded StarHub Apps and LTE is not working.
tried to flash official 32gb italian rom, but shows as "v10g-GLOBAL-SI", lte is appering but is unselectable,
as it returns to WCDMA/GMS and still there are branded apps...
is there any solution?
i need to have an EUR firmware....

The updates are done by IMEI so no matter what your phone will always be SEA and sorry you cannot change SEA to EU as far as I am aware.

I recently did this for a friend. He had an SEA 10e firmware on his G3 and I flashed the 10g italian firmware to his phone without any problems. Any one know why these D855 devices from different regions cannot be used in other regions for LTE? I wonder if this is like the region lock on the Note 3 to allow Samsung to restrict warranty cover?

I'm not sure why you can't enable LTE. Maybe it's carrier dependent or maybe not. If you're not happy I'd suggest switching your device.

Flash US firmware to FR?

Hello
I currently have a Samsung S8 purchased at the United States G950U, but I live in France, the network works, but it is not perfect (I do not capture the 4G+ for example).
I would like to know if it is possible to flash a French firmware on it? Or the modem?
I know I have a Snapdragon processor whereas in France it is Exynos, so logically incompatible.
What do you want to do?
Thank you
PS: sorry for my english, I translate everything on google translation lol

It is not possible to flash a French firmware on a Snapdragon US phone since the US phones have locked bootloaders and the modem will be incompatible as well due to the phones having different hardware.
I used Google translate for this too lol:
Autrement dit, vous ne pouvez obtenir 4G + que si vous obtenez un G950F (Exynos) S8.

Thank you for your reply.
However, if the bootloader is subsequently unlocked (root?), It will be possible to do so?
No, it won't be possible. The hardware is way too different. Different SoC, different radio, whatnot. It's not a question of firmware, but if the radio built in can actually work with the bands provided in France. And to that question, the answer is NO.

Thank you for your answers.
But normally the G950U is compatible with LTE Advanced (4G +) no?
Because there I can not get the "+", but it may be due to the fact that I updated on the Canadian XAC firmware? (Compared to the tutorial available on this forum). I have however activated all LTE bands with the * # 2263 #.
If by a miracle I can get the firmware Vérizon (or USC) it should work?
Thank you

The 950U does support LTE advanced but only on US networks.
LTE-A involves using multiple bands (carrier aggregation) for LTE and although the 950U supports Carrier aggregation, it doesn't support the bands used in Europe.
