Toolbar notifications S4

Hi, I was searching for the toolbar notifications style of the samsung galaxy s4 in order to put it on my Nexus 4 but I don't found it.. I think it's possible to change this toolbar but don't know how.. I appreciated a lot the style of the s4 toolbar menu I like the shortcuts it's offer an its simplicity..
So if someone know how to, it would be much appreciated! =)
P.S: sorry about my english ^^

[Q] navbar and status bar gradient

Has anyone else notices the gradient over the N4 navbar and status bar running lollipop that is not present on the N5 (and the N6 as far as i know)?
Bug or feature?
Any way of making it clear?
(n4, unlocked, unrooted, stock)

I never noticed it, but you're right. Must be because the Google Now launcher isn't the stock launcher on the Nexus 4

It's not the launcher that's the issue, it'll be SystemUI.apk or something similar that has the gradient in it...

there's a fix, but don't know where!!!

Sometimes When I launch Apps from the app Drawer, and go to homescreen (without pressing the home key) the gradient is missing until I swipe to google now or slide status bar or press the homescreen!!!!

APP REQUEST For AOD (TO OPEN HOME BY DOUBLE TOP)

Hi Devs
Can you pls make an app for new always on display.
As you know that with new aod when we double top a notification phone screen on and goes to app. Can you pls make an app always stays the aod as notification and when we double top it screen on like LG does?
I check ps and all XDA but could not find anything.

If you flash the Nougat Beta and get back to a Marshmallow rom with AOD..it will work with double tap..the problem is that if you have fingerprint and security code enabled..it will prompt it first before opening the notification.

here you go. this app just creates a persistent notification with highest priority that unlocks your screen by double tapping on aod icon. uninstall to get rid of notification

Can you make it to screen off when clik app icon on home screen by bypass pin code?

to lock your screen with an app you d need to grant device administrator rights to the app. there are already apps like that on the playstore for free. id recommend this one

Yes! It's similar to double tap. And the icon is beautiful.
A pity not being able to remove the permanent notification from the status bar and notifications, and leave it only on the lock screen.

hey just found out about something...using nova launcher and a gesture like double tap on screen you can choose to lock your screen with root without triggering the pin code

anyone know how to enable transparent notification shade like in p9 and p9+ and others on emui5?
i find the black one really ugly

Has this really worked for you? I have modified it as you indicate but the black color of the bottom of the notification bar is still black.
Could you do screenshots to check this out? I will be very grateful to you :fingers-crossed:

It worked for me

The correct path is /system/emui/lite/prop/local.prop and you have to set ro.build.hw_emui_lite.enable to false

I really didn't understand that stupid policies by Huawei, because they remove a feature that was already unable on the old EMUI4.1, also on the lite series. Anyway thanks for your answer!

Would there be any interest in an app that could modify the colour and opacity of the quick settings panel? And possibly of the notifications panels?
I don't know if you're aware that there is a theme editor in the Playstore. I'm not sure what it does because I can't get it to work on my phone, but if it doesn't do that, I'm happy to make an app for modding these things.

It'll take me a while so in the meantime I can do it for you. Just tell me what theme you use and what hex you want for your quick settings background (+ opacity) and for the quick settings icons if you want to change their color.

Can this be transparent as the lower part of the notification panel?

Nexus 6p Andorid 8.0 stock Icon problem

Guys after 8.0 the icons have changed but very ugly icons . Google didn't put the changing icon options to nexus phones.
Is it possible to change it like nougat icons? I don't want to use launcher :crying:

after installing it on my nexus 6p, long press on home screen -- settings -- but i didn't find something controlling the icons ++++ with this launcher i miss display google app to the left of the home screen

yes, now i found it after opening DP options, but unfortunately i tried all shapes and i don't like them, i like the rounded icons

Then yes you'll have to use launcher and icon pack. I'm trying a couple 'pixel icon packs' to see if they look better.

i bought an app called, Dives but unfortunately doesn't supports pixel launcher most of icon app doesn't supports pixel launcher ! any way if you found some thing don't forget me
