I just want smart use, not sports use.
I have 3 items in my list:
- Amazfit 150€
- Kingwear KW88 85€
- No.1 D5+ - 100€
but i have no idea what to choose. I want long battery life and vibrating alarm clock.
Thanks in advance.

Amazfit
If you are good with adb and fastboot, amazfit offers a long battery life, a good display that you see very well under sunlight.
At the moment it is still a watch in the process of developing so many upgrades to fix small bugs.
The other smartwatch are not bad but the battery will not last you more than a day especially if you keep the high brightness!
great, thanks!
I've tried an U8, crap.
Now I'm with a K89. Not so good but have watchfaces at least and a better design. lol

Hi,
I have been searching the web for a smartwatch for a long time now and I've seen a lot of smartwatches.
I briefly owned a Sony MN2 (smartwatch 1) and it was pretty OK, but had some flaws.
Like it was absolutely impossible to see the time in direct sunlight.
Indoors it was great.
Also the screen was small and not so many pixels.
So I wanted to buy the Sony Smartwatch 2 because all the MN2 flaws are not present anymore in the SW2.
Then I came across the SmartQ Z Watch..........
This looks like a real SW2 killer, but is it as good (or even better) as the SW2 ?
What I want in a watch :
- Get notifications from my Galaxy S4 on my watch
- Read my email (Gmail)
- Facebook
- Twitter
- Calendar
Can someone, who has owned both the SW2 and Z-Watch, explain to me which one is better ?
Come on guys ! Nobody who can quickly answer my questions ?
I haven't owned the SW2 but I've had the Zwatch for a while. If you're looking for notifications it's great, and it it's a fun piece of technology. There's a booting Android Wear ROM as well as a few custom ROMs based off the stock firmware. And while you can load apps like Gmail and Twitter onto it takes some work- and so far the watch doesn't work well with Windows 8.X computers. Also there is no internet tethering so you have use the wifi on the watch, but that consumes battery power extremely fast. You really need to use an app that limits your wifi usage to a few minutes at a time or you won't even get one day out of a full charge.
In the end- it's a great watch. The screen is visible, there's a little developing going on, good potential, but it's still too early. If you are looking for that polished look and feel that you find with Sony, you will be disappointed. The Z watch is just not that refined. But for $100 I bought one and haven't regretted it.

maybe no one owns both?
i have the SW2, it can all the things you ask for
and while some call the transflective display old tech, it does work well both indoors and outdoors
with the new watch face editor, they finally opened up development of real watch faces, which opens a world of possibilities for interactive watch faces (the first by Sony is a weather widget, if you tap it, it shows the weather forecast on the watch)
hoping for some real nice clock designs too
check this video
How is the readability of the Z Watch outdours ?
Can the display be read with direct sunlight ?
Yes the display is very bright if set to 100%........ But again it will drain your battery.... Smart q z watch there is a widget to adjust brightness....... So it is quite easy to adjust as per requirement
Will recommend to wait for some more days till LG or moto comes up with polished android were version

'days'? you know something we don't?
I know that Motorola and LG have announced their smartwatches running Android Wear, but those smartwatches will be more expensive than the SmartQ is

It's worth waiting a few weeks to see the new SmartQ P1 watch. It has more features than the Z watch (heart rate monitor, built in speaker for complete handsfree calling) and is supposed to have a transflective screen for better outdoor viewing. Price is supposed to be about $50 more than the Z watch.

You are right, I've read about the P1 a few days ago and it sounds very promising.
On the other hand, the Z Watch already has been rooted and custom roms are available.
Also I've seen a Youtube video where voice commands are working with XBMC (which I use a lot, hahaha).
Even normal Play Store works on the Z Watch.
It will take a while for the community to accomplish that on the new P1 and I wonder if I will use the extra features which the P1 will have.
Doubts doubts doubts, it drives me crazy

Hi,
I intend on buying my first smartwatch, and I got tho these 3 (cheap)candidates:
ZGPAX S365A
gearbest.com/smart-watches/pp_274141.html
LEMFO DM 360
gearbest.com/smart-watches/pp_309251.html
DW360 (couldn't find the producer)
gearbest.com/smart-watches/pp_236751.html
Does anybody know something about one of these smartwatches? They are pretty similar, I'm inclined to the DW360 because I really like the faces it has, but I'm worried since I don't know who actually produces it.
Any help is apreciated.
Thank you!
What are you intending to use the watch for ? What are most important features you are looking for?
Did you even check the No1 D5?
Hi,
I will mostly be using it as a regular watch with the addition of receiving notifications from my phone (calls, SMS, social media, maybe even calendar alerts) so that I don't have to keep checking my phone.(that I'll be keeping in my bag)
Besides looking good and maintaining a good BT connection, I would like it to have a decent battery that for the light usage I described should last 2-3 days, after this is it has features like some tempered glass not to scratch easily, a little waterproofing for when it rains, controling music play, pedometer, heartmonitor it's good but not really a must.
Ah, and it must be round, I don't like square watches.
I looked at the No1 D5, I like it very much that it has a complete round screen, and a barometer that could be useful predicting the weather. But It's 2 times the price I'm willing to pay and also I don't really need a watch that can do what my phone can.
Also looking now at No.1 G3 (gearbest.com/smart-watch-phone/pp_325020.html) seems very promising, but couldn't find any real reviews..
I gathered some information in this forum and around the internet and I've found that there are 2 possibilities for me: android wear devices (but the price is higher) and Chinese smartwatches, which seems to be more "complete" as they run a modified version of android (so that play store and other common android features work on the watch). Plus, I'd like to know more about rooting and flashing smartwatches... I see some kingwear, or lemfo lem5 (currently my favourite by design).
Now, is this correct? And if so, what smartwatch would you suggest right now?
I've also found these: FINOW X5: http://www.gearbest.com/smart-watch-phone/pp_576172.html NO.1 D5+: http://www.gearbest.com/smart-watch-phone/pp_446744.html

The only problem i have with the chinese smartwatches (i have 3 different types) is battery life (with the exeption of LEM4 / DM98). I can't get thru the day with one charge. And what good is a smartwatch if it runs out of battery in the middle of the day. It's like wearing a rock around your wrist.
Android wear smartwatches get thru the day on one charge, sometimes even two or three days (i have the LG G watch R, and only have to charge it once in two days). I'm waiting untill the Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches will hit the marked in a few weeks/month to really replace my LG g watch R. Yes, they will be more expensive then the chinese "full android" smartwatches but battery life is important to me.

I don't think battery life would be a problem for me, I would not make an intense use of it. It's more like -when my phone battery runs out, I still have my watch. But ye when the battery runs out the watch becomes a rock. So I should consider battery life of: NO.1 D5+, FINOW X5 PLUS and LEMFO LEM5 (my 3 choices for now). Do you have any of them?

No i don't have those. I have a Q1, LEM4 (sold it recently) and DM368(LF16). And i'm about to sell them all and i will probably wait for the android wear 2.0 smartwatches (although i kinda like the full android type of watches). I did a lot of searching and internet browsing before i bought my watches. And spend a lot of time tweaking them (also rooting them). But as a said, the battery life is a bit of a party crasher for me. I'm looking for a smartwatch that can replace my smartphone on some days. The LEM4 came close, but it's not a very appealing smartwatch, and the Android 4.4 version that i bought (android 5.1 is also available) had a very small app installation partition.
My perfect smartwatch isn't out there yet...

I see, since this would be my first smartwatch ever, I will get the NO.1 D5+ I think cause i like the band and the hardware is really powerful for the price. Who knows, maybe one day i will try one with android wear 2.0 like you. Thanks
NO.1 has released a new smartwatch G3+.
Apart from G3, this model is a tethering watch. You can answer phone calls via Bluetooth, but you can't insert sim card in it.
The most arractive thing is the rotating bezel. You can change watch face, apps, adjust volume, etc.
You can also add custom watchface even create watchface for it. Just go for the vxp face theard you can find everything you need.

Same as tiny deals price even after the coupon. Planning to go for a Finow X5 plus instead of a D5+, main reason is Amoled screen and 3 buttons.

This one is tethering watch but not full filled with Android. And yeah, I'm also looking forward to the better resolution watch of NO.1 smartwatch. :fingers-crossed:
Already bought the g3+ in Gearbest (50€). Hope not been disappointed ??
My smartwatch g3+ frequently disconnect from the smartphone with FunDo app or Mediatek app and battery only last for 10h best, from 07h to 17h. With yours smartwatch happen the same? Is the battery so weak? Thanks

Yep, 10 hours sounds about right. I find it disconnects if I put my arm behind my back, with my phone in the front pocket
I have updated it to the latest firmware( Feb 2017), mine was still on original December firmware, not had chance to try this firmware out properly to see if there are any improvements in battery etc.
I do like the watch to be fair, I only really use it as a 'dress watch' so the battery lifetime isn't as important to me.
Also noticed some of the latest watchfaces don't seem to work either, not sure why that would be.

Hi there, ten hour battery life is normal, but the bluetooth connectivity is not that bad. Please try to flash the latest firmware, the new firmware will solve this issue.
Hi everyone!
So I survived 2020, the year so bad they named it twice! As a result of 7 months of isolation orders, my health isn't so healthy and I have started walking for 2 hours a day. I'm trying to choose a WearOS device that's... err, how shall I say, not an overpriced piece of garbage?
I'm trying to keep the price around $150.00 USD. I realize that this limits my options. Currently I'm using a Samsung S20 G5. A plus would be if the watch has a desktop app, seems that Google cancelled the Google Fit desktop app.
Any thought, suggestions or philosophical musings?
Thanks!

I am using Suunto 7 and when I bought it my wish was that it would serve me both as a smart watch for my Android phone and also as a fitness/sport watch. It turned out to be pretty decent smart watch. Looks good, has a good display, battery lasts couple of days in normal use. However, it failed badly as a sports watch. Battery is the problem. In need to sports watch to be able to track up to 8-10 hours when I'm cycling. So I ended up buying another watch, Polar Grid X for sports/fitness.
So I do not recommend any Wear OS for tracking any fitness activities. And as a plain smart watch Suunto 7 is too expensive.

They have it on sale at -31% off so I'm considering it. How long did it last? What were you tracking GPS+heart rate?
Why not try some of the ticwatch range. They are over your 150 budget but you can find coupons online that will reduce the cost. Just got the e3 for 161 including UPS shipping.
I havent actually used it yet but it looks the best for the price range from all the reviews and specs i seen.
