Since you have flash twrp you won't be able to update firmware locally. Go in twrp and mount system(If it's not mounted) and then restart your phone.
I've unlocked the bootloader and flashed the Revolution Recovery B9, but I can't mount 'data' , so I modified the partition into F2FS and then formatted it. After that I couldn't enter to system, so I used three buttons to recovery the stock firmware. Now I can't reflash the TWRP and I can't add any goggle account.
What should I do?
Thanks before
What version p9 lite vns- ??
What do you want to install as firmware?
Info. If you wanted to be helped, helped too.
Hi,
have similar issue.
Bought P9Lite, originally on Vodafone UK/IE. VNS-L31C02B120.
Flashed B432 ROM which was OK, although changed to C900. Then I flashed something which was posted as UPDATE.APP. I thought it's an update, but then saw the size, was about 32MB. Since then it boots into Huawei eRecovery, which is uselless as it connect via Wi-Fi but does nothing. I can boot into fastboot/Recovery mode but thats it.
Tried flash Vodafone ROM but it stuck at 5%, no matter what I try to flash. The last when it booted still showed the Vodafone start up logo.
Any help appreciated...
Bootloader locked, no root.
1) Disconnect and power off.
2) Put a stock rom (UPDATE.APP) on SD card in folder dload and put it in the phone. If you have not, create folder "dload"
3) Hold down all 3 hardware buttons for cca. 10 second (Volume+ AND Volume- AND Power) until the phone enters EMUI system update mode and stars update from the SD card.
4) Phone will reboot and you have OS
I have rooted the phone and was using a custom ROM from meticulus.co.vu as well as his custom twrp.
I have the VNS-L31 variant.
I wanted to roll back to stock because the fingerprint sensor didn't work due to me not clearing the saved ones when I changed ROMs.
What I did was factory reset the device, flash stock recovery, cust and boot (from update.app) onto the phone and then put update.app into the SD card in a dload folder. I then proceeded to hold the Vol+, Vol- and Power buttons to update manually. This didn't work because it said 'Software install failed'. Now the phone only boots into eRecovery and fastboot. I cannot get into TWRP despite flashing it multiple times through fastboot.
I am completely out of options, please help me xda.
EDIT: I managed to get it working - for those with a similar issue - download firmware finder and go through ALL of the models, one will work!
However, I cannot sign into google play...
Maybe this helps? http://www.techoxygen.com/bypass-google-account-unlock-frp-huawei-p9-lite-nexus-6p/
Hi guys,
Yesterday, I unlocked my Huawei P9 Lite with the given code from EMUI, then I installed TWRP (twrp-3.1.1-0-venus.img) and installed SuperSU. All went okay, i managed to delete useless system app, but I realized i did not pass Safetynet Check anymore (and since i'm a PoGo fan..), so I uninstalled SuperSU and tried with Magisk, same issue. I uninstalled both, and couldn't get back the clean safetynet check.
There, I tried to install a official ROM for VNS-L31 xxxx361, but I did it wrong and the whole thing crashed. Now i'm left with no OS, phone is bootlooping for ever. The only things I can access if TWRP and Fastboot mode. I tried to flash img from a huawei release, but i get this error that scare everyone i asked about : remote : sparse flash write failure.
I've no idea how to not trash my phone and go grab another one if I ever want to make a phone call again!
Please help!!
Kindly,
Antonin
I had similar problem but I had no recovery just eRecovery and fastboot (which didnt let me flash anything).
Download FULL rom from:
hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=VNS
(sorry cant post links)
Make sure u choose right model and location.
Extract the update.app and put it on sdcard in folder named dload, insert that sdcard into the phone.
Boot to erecovery and shut down the phone from there, then turn on the phone with both volume buttons pressed and wait till the rom will be installed.
If you didnt success to boot with vol + and vol -, try to press power wait for vibration and quickly press both volume buttons and hold.
Hi, my NXT-L29C432 was on rooted B320 (I believe) Firmare with TWRP and unlocked bootloader and wanted to go back to stock now. Device was offering OTA update and I clicked it to install. After that Huawei logo for an hour with no success.
Then I tried to install B320 stockrecovery via fastboot but the device wasn't recognized by ADB. Then I tried to install stock B320 firmware via dload method. The update ran through til 100% and the device rebooted, Huawei logo appeared for three seconds then black screen. I still can't connect via ADB. Fastboot mode shows loader locked and FRP unlocked.
Can anybody tell me what to do to get the device booting and to get back to stock?
Thank you very much in advance fior your help.

Try flashing recovery and twrp with Srk tools Lod Chong version. It's on somboons post so look for it there. I'd post you a link but I'm still new to this Tapatalk app so still a bit confusing.
Make sure you read the posts. I had a similar problem recently so I'm pretty sure the recovery and twrp works. After that try the download method again.
