Hi i have the s7 edge exynos variant and i dont know if my battery is working as it should. Right now i'm at 60% of battery, the screen on time setting is telling me that ive only used 1h. Is that normal?
Take a look at the screenshots.

You've been running a lot of apps that drains battery and your standby drain is especially high for some reason
3-4 sot isn't out of the ordinary but you could get a lot more

Then thats the average usage for a s7 edge. Actually i do get almost 4-5 hours sot til the end of the day with 15%. Is that ok?

So I had my phone for a little over a year already and everything is stock. While my phone has not had any battery drain issues or at least I'm not aware of, I find its battery life to be quite bad recently.
I'll like to know if this is normal for other S4 users like you and if my problem is because my battery is old and dying off or there's some other things going on with my phone. My brightness is always at 57% with auto brightness off.
Here are some screenshots on my battery usage according to my phone..

From the screenshots above I am barely even able to squeeze 5 hours of usage time from my phone and I think that's quite unacceptable. Also if I were to plug my phone out at 100% and listen to some tracks, within 15mins the phone will at be 90-93%. My usage isnt also that heavy and I shall call myself a light to medium user.
Do you guys think this battery usage results are normal?

Nothing in the battery stats is abnormal and the phone didn't wake up a lot yet I lost a ton of battery overnight. How do I find what caused it? Also is their anyway to tell if I have a defective battery? A lot of people here and at /r/motox seem to be getting better battery life. I can barely get 3 hours of sot over 10 or so hours. I really want to keep this phone but if this is going to be normal then I might as well go back to the Note 4.

Install System Panel and let it log the data for some time. I have the paid version, but I think the free version is similar.
Hi all, my exynos variant of s7e is experiencing crazily high standby drain. I don't remember seeing this kind of drain during the first few weeks of getting the phone.

I did a test to show, phone unplugged at 100%, left on table without using. ~12hrs later. whopping 60% gone. It's only the 3 processes you see, nothing more.
Anyone have the same problem? Any idea how to find the cause? Used to have great battery life. It's not normal right?
Have a look at these threads (which have been right under your nose in Q & A )
How many of you experiencing high android system battery drain?
A temporary fix for battery drain
Post your battery life!!!
Mine was doing that also, so I did a factory reset and I didn't use smart switch to add my apps and stuff. Its been sleeping beauty since. I know its a pain to reset, but was worth it.
I'm trying to understand some battery stats. Lately in the past month I've noticed that my battery life has not been good. Certain Google apps like YouTube, Photos, and at times Play Music will cause high battery drain with minimal use. I've tried clean flashes of LOS and I'm on the default LOS kernel. My screen brightness is set to auto and 50%. Each charge cycle I get less than 4 hours of screen on time. I keep WiFi and Bluetooth on at all times but I still feel my battery life should be better.
Anyone have some suggestions or ideas or am I getting the best out of this phone for the way I use it?
See screenshots of battery stats.
As you can see at about 50% battery used, the Photos app used 7% battery without being on for about 3 minutes....that doesn't sound right to me...

Anyone??
weird, you didnt have the phone off, its weird though, maybe try a hard reset if it shows again...
I did the other night full reset and its on 48% and says 4h and. 48m. So confused
Since it's brand new I would cycle the battery a couple of times - let it run down to empty and recharge to full.
s8's learn your battery usage over the first week or so. your battery life will improve.
