Hi im an Honor 7 PLK-L01 user from the middle east. Im currently using C185B380 and now wish to upgrade to B382. I found 2 versions of C185B382 on MT Finder App and downloaded the OTA version. I copied the UPDATE.app to the 'dload' folder on the sd card and restarted the phone by pressing the VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN + POWER buttons at the same time. The phone restarted and an update was installed. But when i checked the firmware of my phone, its still on B380. :s
What did i do wrong? need help. Thanks
i think 3 button only works if you have the full update file not the ota? not 100% sure if thats correct tho

Yes you will a little bit., if you are stock you definitely don't need to wipe just install
If you want fast flash a custom kernel you can overclock the cpu and other stuff

I rooted my Redmi 3s Prime by flashing Twrp and SuperSu and everything was fine for a few days. Out of the blue, I've lost my root access. Twrp was gone too. I tried rooting again and got the same result after a few days. Any help? :crying:

Try a VPN to Canada (use opera VPN, this works great!). I did that as well and then I was able to update using the system updater
